Orange juice and dream loaf bagel sandwich

Stopped by this place on the way back from VA Beach and am so glad that we did! Found Buttercups on Yelp and decided to check it out. Ordered two dream loafs one with meat loaf and one without and BOTH were AMAZING AND FRESH! Also ordered a cup of orange juice and it was the best orange juice I've ever had that was also FRESH! Service was awesome and everyone was really nice. Will return next time I'm in the area! They also serve chocolate chip cookies which I can't wait to taste! If you're passing through the area or are in the area, stop by you won't be disappointed!

Great little place in the heart of Eastville. A gourmet take on biscuits and other breakfast and brunch fare. Definitely worth a stop.

Absolute gem. Can't lie, this is the type of place I like to gate keep! if you know you know! But…read moreno really, this place is all around A-1. One of the closest things in the area that reminds me of my summer visits to NY, waking up early to grab that bacon, egg and cheese on a roll or cream cheese on an everything bagel before tackling the day. Real homestyle type place but It's not a corner store like NY so don't expect to leave outta there with snacks (unless you like bagel chips). The location is perfect because I usually get my wife a coffee from the Dunkin' Donuts next-door right after grabbing a bagel sandwich. Clutch. The staff there are cool people. They're like the cast of a classic sitcom. Overall solid customer service. The place is always tidy and they'll either be in there playing the jams or something good on TV. My go to order is a Turkey Bacon, Egg, and Cheddar Cheese on a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel! Fire if your into to a slight sweet savory vibe. Sometimes i switch it up and go French Toast bagel. Either way, is a movie each time. Hours are 6am-2pm I believe so I try to get there early enough to catch the fresh options of bagels. Bangin'! All in all, don't walk...RUN here! Tell a friend to tell a friend then thats it. Save some bagels for me.

I know bacon, sausage, ham, (and Taylor Ham if you're from Jersey like me) are the standard breakfast sandwich meats, but try the pastrami! Poppy bagel, 2 eggs included, cheese, and some pastrami brings back my east coast state of mind. The midtown sandwich is also a great option. I know a lot of Southerners don't care for the greatness of a bagel, they prefer their biscuits and that's all well and good. But wow, NYBC does a wonderful job of representing the area where I grew up.

She gave me the run down on the stuffed French toast, so I just had to have it. It was seriously delicious! It might just be up there with the Empire State for me. Their Pastrami is just that good. As for the Fire Island, it's perfect for you if you like a kick. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Everything worked well on the sandwich, it can just be a much for breakfast sometimes. Though, you are allowed to make you needed modifications. Maybe a different bagel would lighten things a bit. Overall, this is a much try for Chesapeake. It provides a cute, calm spot to grab something to go or dine in if you are up for it.

Stopped in for the first time to try a bagel sandwich (egg & cheese on an everything bagel with side of honey almond cream cheese) and it was vey good! Love that they put the everything topping on both the bottom and top of the bagel! GENIUS! Why doesn't every bagel place do that? My husband enjoyed his French toast bagel sandwich as well! Lots of choices for bagels, lunch sandwiches, muffins and drinks including fountain drinks, coffee, bottled drinks and even speciality beverages. It was a busy Friday morning but the wait was not too long for our food.

This is a chain, so it is not a local place, but nonetheless it was still really good! They definitely get busy, but it appeared that they do replenish the bagels throughout the morning. The inside is reminiscent of a deli, nothing too special, very laid back environment. It is kept pretty clean. The service is attentive and friendly. They were working very hard to keep up with the many incoming orders! The first visit, my mom and I both got the Avocado egg white sandwiches. I wanted mine on asiago, but they were sold out of those at the moment, so I opted for the cheddar bagel instead. Although shortly after I completed by order fresh, piping hot asiago bagels came out. My mom got hers on a honey-wheat bagel. The sandwich consisted of grilled egg whites, avocado, tomato, spinach, and roasted tomato spread. I added turkey bacon to this for an uncharge. This was decent, the avocado could have been riper. The sandwich was kinda bland, the bagel didn't carry a strong cheddar taste, as I was hoping for. The added turkey bacon definitely added some more to the sandwich, would recommend doing that! This was still a decent, light, healthy option though. The next visit I ordered the Santa Fe Egg White. This sandwich consisted of a thintastic asaigo bagel (I opted for a regular asiago bagel instead), grilled egg whites, turkey sausage, cheddar, and a roasted tomato salsa & jalepeno salsa cream cheese. I liked this one much more than the avocado, a lot heartier. The cream cheese added a nice, creamy kick to the sandwich. It complimented the sharpness of the asiago bagel and the cheddar cheese. The turkey sausage was really yummy with the egg whites as well! My mom ordered the nova lox on pumpernickel, my dad got the seasonal smokehouse brisket egg sandwich, and then my sister got the classic croissant sandwich. They all also enjoyed their meals! Overall, I thought this was a solid bagel place. I don't know how authentic they were, but they certainly hit the spot! The inside was family friendly and very chill. While the service was as efficient as possible, especially considering how busy it was getting. All our bagels were freshly made to order. The bagels were very yummy, I would check it out if you need a quick breakfast while in the area.

I ordered the Williamsburg Bagel, which consisted of lox, plain cream cheese, tomato, capers, and red onion. I originally wanted it on an Everything bagel, but since they were out, I went with a Garlic bagel instead. Even though it was a tad bit crowded, my sandwich was ready in about 5 mins. I've had the Williamsburg Bagel before so I was excited to enjoy it again but I wasn't a big fan of the thick-cut red onions they added on there, and I actually love onions! Unfortunately, I ended up taking most of them off. I also wish it had more cream cheese, the thin layer on the bottom just wasn't enough for me. That said, the bagel itself was fresh and overall, the sandwich tasted good. At almost $20, it did feel a little pricey for a bagel sandwich, but I enjoyed it. I'd definitely come back to try other options. The interior is full of Brooklyn pictures, which I love! Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

My husband and a friend came here on a Thursday morning to order 6 items and they were gone for almost an hour (it was a 10 minute drive from where we stayed). They come back with a bag of "bagels" (if that's what you want to call them) drenched in ketchup. Our orders were extremely simple: BEC w/PK on a plain bagel Egg and cheese on a croissant BEC w/PK on an asiago bagel Taylored Ham, egg & cheese on a bagel Toasted everything bagel with lox & cream cheese Here is everything that went wrong: 1. The bagel store didn't offer BACON, so we ended up substituting for sausage. The sausage patty was probably the size of my kid's palm- that's how small it was. The eggs were overcooked and had no taste, but don't worry, they'll make sure to smother the entire bagel with ketchup to make up for it. 2. TOASTED bagel with lox & cream cheese- bagel was not toasted, and there wasn't any lox available. 3. Egg & cheese on a croissant- the place didn't have any croissants... so had to substitute this for a roll 4. It was the chef's second day in the kitchen. Bagels alone wasn't great quality..it was edible enough, but extremely chewy and stiff, especially after taking so long to prepare the orders and with two people working in a place that is seemingly popular with the Yelp Community, the amount of time it took this order to be ready was a little ridiculous. I ordered the same thing back home the following day and it took less time to make here in NJ than it did here on a non-busy day with just my husband and friend as their sole customer at the time.
