But if you're picking up in the drive through you'll have a good meal.

The menu is pretty standard for a diner style restaurant, with heavy emphasis in the morning for omelettes, then your usual burgers and other homestyle goodies in the afternoon and evening. I went for the Texas burger, asking for it to be cooked medium. What I got was more rare, bordering on blue. Not a good start. The fries that came with it were predictably SysCo style fries. No proof that they were actually provided by such, but they definitely had the style. Staff were friendly, and the seating at the bar was comfortable. Realistically, I don't see myself going back any time soon, unless a group of people invite me to go. It is a bit of a trek from Gainesville, so going specifically to eat there is not in the cards.

Pretty good. I also had a bit of the Spinach Artichoke dip (good) and the Gator Bites (which have quite a bit of fried onion mixed in with the gator) (quite good.) For an entree, I had the Duke's Macaroni with Blackened Chicken (which they mixed in.) Quite delicious, but it did leave quite a lot of oil (over a tablespoon) in the plate. I'd read the reviews and they were supposed to have the coldest beer in Florida and the best burgers. What's not to like about that? When we walked in, it was as advertised, a nice little biker bar with pool tables and they do in fact have very good burgers and cold beer. We had great service, great food, great prices, and actually stayed there much longer than we planned. Most of the seating is picnic tables outside under an awning but there are also a few tables inside. High Springs brewery had a huge variety! 8 beers, 2 ciders, a hard lemonade and a soda. All of which they make in house as far as I can tell. I got my usual flight which consisted of a Hefeweizen, a kolsch, and 2 IPA's. All were solid but the Hazed and Confused was phenomenal. They don't make any food onsite but there were menus at the bar for Prohibition Pizza that is across the street. As I was leaving, I also saw a food truck pull up so plenty of options.
