The three of us got burgers all the same, mine was swimming in grease, but flavor was great, veggies were fresh, fries were fresh, parents loved it. Location is right off the road, they have an outdoor seating area but wouldn't recommend it if they are busy as you'll be surrounded by all the cars in line and the only thing you'll taste is exhaust fumes. Was over $15 for a double with small fries and no drink after taxes, transaction fees, and dollar tip. No combos. Not exactly cheap eats or fast food but very good and well worth the wait. Me and hubby taking our boys to the springs today and he said let's eat out! Found this spot using yelp and it was so good to stop here! We did the drive thru and it didnt wait very long. Our boys 11 and 13, our grandsons loved it so much! They both had cheeseburgers and well as Roland. I just had a hamburger. Fries were great! The hamburger was handmade everything except the bun. Having been to Bev's Better Burgers several years ago in Alachua and never forgot how delicious it was I was so happy to find they have a drive thru in High Springs. If you've ever remembered a special meal that was so good but when you finally had it again it didn't compare to your memory, well this wasn't the case! If anything it was Better than I remembered, it was truly one of the best burgers I've had since the last time I ate there! It was perfectly cooked to order and delicious also I had onion rings and they were absolutely the best onion rings I've ever had, definitely homemade with sweet onions in a light crispy batter, so good! Even the ice tea was perfect! The service was great, greeted with a smile to take our order and with giving us our food, everyone seemed happy to be there and happy we were there too. I love High Springs area, the town and springs, but I would drive over from Jax just to eat that burger! Highly recommended this establishment. read more

Bev's Better Burgers is the drive-through version to Bev's Burger Cafe located just up the street from it. Kind of weird for basically two of the same restaurant and owners (one a sit down place and the other one a drive-through restaurant) to be so close to each other, but hey, whatever works. When you take into consideration that there are not a lot of restaurants in the area, this place looks even better as a place to grab a meal. This is an old-school burger type joint. It has a no-frills type vibe. There is nothing wrong with that. There is nothing fancy about a hamburger and this place delivers a pretty decent hamburger. I saw this place on TikTok from Abandoned Florida and since I'm camping in the nearby state park, I had to stop in and try it! I have to say it was totally worth the hype and the price! Prices are a little more than what was on the menu but the woman in the window did advise that before ordering. We sat outside at one of the four picnic tables and enjoyed the fresh air. The area is highly busy and there's a cafe down the road by the same owner if you wish to sit inside. I ordered a plain cheeseburger with just mayo on it. However it does come with onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo served "all the way." My mom got it and loved it. The veggies were fresh and the tomato was dripping it was so fresh. The French fries were so crispy and delicious! The soda was on point and the sweet tea was actually SWEET! This location was busy the whole time we were there and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The corn nuggets were hot and fresh! Overall, I'd drive the 30 mins from my house to come back and recommend this place to anyone who wanting a classic juicy American burger! I was raised in Alachua County and even though I moved away. I can't come back and visit without stopping at Bev's for their amazing burgers and perfect soft serve ice cream!! Normally both locations are very busy and have a long line but it's totally worth the wait!!! There are no inside seats and the outside seating is limited but again the food is well worth it. Wow! Bev's Better Burgers checks off all the blocks when it comes to amazing and fresh burgers in the North Central Florida area. I would even say Bev's is better than Mac's drive thru in Gainesville. After a day at the springs I decided to hop off the road and give Bev's Better Burgers a try before driving back home and I am super glad I did. This place is not super fancy. You drive up and order your food, then you drive around the building to pick up your food and enjoy it. I was slightly worried because I did not know if this place took credit cards or not. To my surprise they take credit cards and therefore I was able to get so much more food. I decided to get a Double Cheeseburger all the way, with a small fry and a sweet tea. The Burger was amazing. It was two buttery buns and fresh beef with the perfect amount of cheese on it. The burger had ketchup, mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion on the burger. The burger was large and you could taste how fresh everything was in each bite. The burger tasted great and was about $5.99 for a double cheeseburger. The fries here were amazing. They did not need more salt or ketchup they were good the way they were. They were super crisp and fresh! I loved the fries. The fries were a small and costed abut $1.99. I ordered a large sweet tea. They have the large and jumbo, but I went with the large instead. It was amazing sweet tea! The pancakes are tasty and my favorite dinner is the barbeque ribs and crispy sweet potato fries. It is reasonable priced for your typical country menu. If you have never been to Bev's Better Burgers, and you are looking for a good burger for a decent price, go no further, because Bev's is the place to go. I have been to both locations (High Springs and Alachua) and I have to say, service with a smile is what you get. They know what they are doing, and get your order out to you as quick as they can, given that they make each meal to order. I typically get the cheeseburger with everything and an order of fries, and that does me well.
