My husband was in the Monroe location on Thursday, February 20th. Said that the new manager was pleasant and had great customer service. They even had coffee out for you to refill your own cup. We happened to go here twice this week because the lines were too long in the mornings at other places for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. There must be a new manager because the service was super fast, the employees happy and friendly and the food was good. Hardee's has always been my favorite restaurant to go to since a child. I stop going due to the General Manager she's very rude and if you try to order something but wants something taken off she's won't let you order it at all and I've never heard of this ever. You don't have to worry about ambience because they never open the inside where you can go eat. The service they wouldn't say thank you to save their life. The food is so hit and miss but never better than just below average. It is unbelievable that a place that sells biscuits and gravy won't let you eat it inside the restaurant. The sign says under new management. It certainly did not improve. It's been an eyesore in this city for the last 35 years has never improved. The employees could not be more rude to you. They are mad because you are ordering food. They picked the job. It seems that with all the people standing around inside they could get one of them to clean the glass. First a girl named iyanna took my order and had an attitude kept on rushing me like there's a menu for a reason let me look then I have to pull up for the food to be ready and wait when there's no other cars there at all nobody inside and then she basically throws it into my hand! I get home open my food my fries are either hours and hours old or very overcooked and then my chicken sandwich is burnt too everytime I order from here there's something wrong with my food I chose to eat here because I'm hungry and then they give me food everytime that's overcooked and everything just thrown together in the bag I order food for my children to eat but they can't even eat it! read more

Was looking for something quick before my drive home only to be told over the drive thru speaker that the drive thru was closed and I needed to come in. If you could tell me that it was closed, why couldn't you take my order? Your food isn't that great but it was convenient so I moved on. read more

My husband and I went there this morning for breakfast. I saw the health score was an 85 but couldn't see details because it was on the wall on the other side of another framed item, kind of around the corner. As I was leaning over the counter to see it the cashier asked me if everything was alright and I told her the health score should be displayed for people to see or read it. She says it was, but no, all you could see was the 85, which didn't bother us as we had already ordered and was going to eat there. Anyway I thought I'd just take a picture of it and read it. Well, that woman went crazy. She had our food which she threw on the counter behind her and demanded that I delete the picture. She knocked the health score frame off the wall, the frame and glass hit the counter and broke. It was all very shocking. My husband asked for a refund and we left. Take about poor customer service! This is my third visit to this location, Hardee's, and on every visit, the customer service is absolutely terrible. The young ladies behind the counter seem to have a great attitude when they talk to each other, but as soon as you walk in they turn to you like they wish you were never born. Love Hardee's biscuit's! It's the service here that discourages one from coming here. It can take forever to get your order and cashiers frequently don't seem to know what they're doing, get confused and make mistakes. This Hardee's has been like this for YEARS! I know personally of locals who have written to corporate about the service; to no avail. Still...they do a huge breakfast business as for years they were all there was on Hwy 11. Maybe the opening of BoJangles just outside of the city in Hwy 11 will force these folks to up their game. The place does some lunch business but after 2:00 pm it's deserted. Evenings you have to check carefully to see if it's open. They are but no signs are lit, everything is dark and the parking lot is dark and empty. Not very inviting after dark. read more

Worst Hardees in America! The service is worse than awful and has been this way for many years. It's the only place in town to quickly grab a breakfast biscuit so they are very busy until 11:00 when it becomes like a ghost town. but if they ever get any competition in the breakfast area, they"ll be gone. read more
