I ordered a burger today from Culver's this is the third time they loaded it up with mayo the first two times I let it go . when I got home and started eating my burger I noticed it had a lot of mayo . I called the Culver's located in Buford Ga Store # 592 to let them know that I was dissatisfied with my burger and this has happened before I was told by Angie who stated she was a Mgr that I would have to bring my burger back today in order to get it replaced thats their policy I told her it's about taking care of the customer she said she couldn't I asked to speak to her Mgr someone picked up the call didn't say their name and told me I would have to come back today I told her I was home already and could send them a picture of my burger I would not be driving back today she told me it's their policy I told her I was dissatisfied with her response she told me if I don't like their burgers don't come to Culver's ! I asked for her name she refused to give it to me and continued telling me about her policy she never offered to take care of my issue it was all about her and her policy . I was looking forward to a delicious dinner at Culver's in Buford, near the home of the Gwinnett Stripers. And I made an extra effort to reach this location in heavy traffic, even though I was in a hurry. I had coupons in hand that I receive in the mail on a fairly regular basis. These were from the last two mailings I had received. I could smell the food and could almost taste the first bites as I waited with coupons in hand, trying to save a literal buck. Sometimes the coupons are out of date, but they're almost always identical from month to month and my local Culvers always accepts them without question. Why would they not? They (the coupons) did their job. The coupons brought me into their store to buy their food. And they're gonna be sending out the same coupons next month for the same amounts and same offers. Nothing changes except a little, insignificant, expiration date that they print in the smallest print imaginable. And that's a fact that my local store is smart to recognize. You can probably guess where this is going. I had already cut out one of my coupons for a mere dollar off an approximately $10 value basket. 10%. So really not much in the scheme of things, but still an incentive and a savings that's worth having to me. I handed it to the cashier and began to place my order. But instead of taking and processing my order, he turned around, apparently to talk to a manager. Oh no, my coupon had technically expired! It was an entire two months out of date. This Culver's in Buford was not going to honor it. Fortunately however, I had an even more recent coupon. It was from the current month, May. In fact, it was less than two weeks past the expiration date as it turns out. Surely they would accept it, despite the fact that it was indeed expired. There's that awful word again: "expired!" The cashier didn't even bother to talk to a manager this time. There was no way on earth he was gonna accept that coupon from me. Nothing else mattered but that darn expiration date May the 4th. In some circles that date is a cause for celebration and special discounts or giveaways. But at this Culver's, it might as well have been the seal of death from the Emperor of the dark side! Well, I was not about to pay full price, especially after the curt dismissal of my request to use the more recent coupon. I was done! And this Buford Drive Culver's will likely not get my business again anytime in the future. That's a date that never expires, and I will honor it. read more

Culver's is a favorite for us when craving some good fast casual food. I got the Butterburger Cheese basket and subbed out the fries with onion rings (which is an upcharge). The burger was tasty and the onion rings were crisp. Service was great, as the cashier was attentive and the team members that bring out your food to your table were friendly and helpful if you need anything else for your meal. I am a fried fish snob. Generally, I don't like any "fast food" fried fish, but I will eat it on occasion. Generally, I don't gert drive-thru Fried fish because it's invariably crap. The wife and I tried Culver's drive-thru while we both had Covid-19. We wanted to get out of the house, but obviously, we had to quarantine. Culver's was a nice surprise. Typically, it's just not on my radar even through I only live a few miles away. They cook everything to order! Which is fantastic for fried fish that will quickly become soaked in grease and disgusting when it cools a little. And the concrete mixers (!which is Culvers version of the DQ Blizzard....blows the DQ Blizzard away like a single square of cheap toilet paper. It's the ice cream. DQ uses cheap soft serve, while Culver uses frozen custard, a clearly superior product. And the toppings! I've only had a few "mixers" just nuts and M&Ms. But I'm almost sure they just emptied a whole bag of mini M&Ms in my mixer. DQ just uses broken pieces of M&Ms. And as far as customer service, there was a "Chick-Fil-A" level of friendliness. All of the kids ended with a "My pleasure". Nice to hear. read more

Finally got to enjoy this place! What a yummy nice experience it was! Say Cheese Curds! Cheese Sauce! Custard Shakes! Perfectly cooked Fries! Culver's Root Beer! All this and the friendliest staff I've ever come across anyplace. I love it. There are so many options and shake combinations it's over whelming. I totally ordered wrong out of excitement but everything I tried was great. Only criticism I have (seems the most common one) is the burger patties are thin. But honestly either ask for a double or just know that going in. Still tastes good to me. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. Also GREAT kid spot! I have been intrigued recently on trying out this establishment. Curiosity won. I wanted an authentic burger . The service upon entrance and exiting was phenomenal. All of the employees that I engaged with were happily and readily willing to give a great first impression, not only before knowing it was my first time visiting, but even after. Consistency is key. The flavor and taste of the burger of purchase along with the fries were satisfying and I delivered fast despite the busy restaurant. I am appreciative of the entire ambience that I experienced overall from the cleanliness and organization to the freshness of the food that I desired. I can honestly say that with it being my first time trying their food that it is a bit pricey and I don't think that was a reasonable amount. I think that it should not have been as much as I paid for, when it was a simple meal that I requested for myself only, but the overall experience made it worth it. I believe that when I have the chance to visit on a time less rushed that I can research the best flavorable burger to try. The burger definitely had the butter taste, when hungry almost anything tastes great, but as I fulfilled the hunger satisfaction, disappointment set in because it seemed to have a lighter flavor seasoning wise. Giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt. The presentation and excellent customer service indicates that I may have am improvement on the favor when realizing what the expectations are from ordering food of any kind here. I intend to give an update regarding another future experience. It was definitely worth it. I tend to stick to what I know, but even when I try a new place, I start of simple before diving in the deep end, but I'm this case it may have been worth it and will be worth trying next time around to see what all the hype is about regarding this restaurant. I love the cheerful royal blue theme of all of the decor, cutlery and logo of Culvers. It's just a fun place! The parking lot is a bit of a wackjob to get into though, coming from the 85 or Mall side, weaving towards what used to be Brandsmart. It's fast food, but not fast food, and not quite "fast casual", hovering somewhere in between. You order at the counter, and your food is brought to you via a number placard at your table, and the staff continues to navigate the dining area (thoughtfully arranged with different nooks, booths and tables so as not to be one open space) asking if you need anything else. Quality is spot-on - loved that the salad was crisp and fresh and that there was LOTS of chicken on it. So many places throw anemic-looking pieces of chicken on a salad as an afterthought, choosing to obliterate sad limp lettuce with shredded cheese and croutons. My daughter was disappointed that all of the frozen custard flavors aren't available everyday (we're new to the whole Culver's concept) but perked up when her long blue spoon pierced the flavor du jour (cookies & cream.) We flaked out and didn't notice that the kids meal included a small dessert, so next time we'll keep that in mind as well. read more

Service was horrible I was served a raw burger about a week ago an I was told I could come back to redeem it when I wanted to I wasn't given a reference number I wasn't told to keep the receipt because who keeps a fast food receipt. I think they hired someone from Krystal to make my burger. I got a double sourdough melt and the patties were about as thick as a Krystal burger. The bun was so greasy that it made the sandwich pretty nasty. Compare my pictures to their advertised picture. No comparison. I did like that you don't have to settle for fries with a combo meal. I was able to get a side salad. Had I gotten the fries with that grease burger, I think I would have had an extra rough night. For fast food, this place was surprisingly good! They have a HUGE menu, but everything is made to order so your food comes out piping out and they deliver it to your table. The made to order part already puts it levels above other fast food joints. However, this does mean it takes a little longer to get your food, but it's worth the wait! (The wait wasn't even that bad). They have daily specials which change daily. When I went, it happened to be onion rings for $2 or so. The onion rings came out piping out and were delicious! My coworker who didn't order anything tried one and instantly got up to order her own. I got a chicken sandwich but it wasn't anything to really write home about. Nothing terrible and nothing amazing. But it was still good and hot. I filled up pretty quickly, but I would have loved to tried their custards. They have an insane selection of ice cream flavors and milkshakes as well. The best part however, is how friendly the staff seemed. I love Culver's, but this location SUCKS. They always get our orders incorrect, and tonight was the last straw. We will never be back to this location and highly recommend you avoid it as well. Whoever was working drive thru tonight needs to be retrained. Everything was incorrect except for the strawberry milkshake. This time the actual manager was very rude and when I ordered my food which was $40 worth...one part of my order...was two deluxe double cheeseburger meals. So today I went in and the MANAGER that was on duty basically told me she can't do anything about it because i had to bring the actual burger back, So when I asked the other employee to speak to someone high than her or corporate's number she told them to stop talking to me and go back to work. I truly believe the reason she treated me the way she did was because of my skin color, and as a MANAGER she handled that terribly wrong and disrespectful. Very good~ I always wanted to try this place. The pictures of the food didnt look appealing but its the real thing. I thought to myself, real burgers don't look like those advertised pictures. The service is great! Friendly staff all around. Very polite and courteous. After you order, they bring the food out to your table. If you're lucky and the staff walks by when your done, they even take away your tray. I read about The Root Beer and i have to admit...its damn good. So good I cant drink the other kind anymore lol. As far as fast food goes, this place gets 5 stars from me. This location is super clean and employee's are extremely friendly. I've had Culvers in Naples, Fl and absolutely loved it. I was stoked when they opened the location in Dawsonville, but luckily this is closer to home.
