Typical for an Aldi shopping trip, it cost less than the other places we shop and my husband said what he always says: we need to come here more. Everything is organized, the check outs were being run smoothly and quickly thanks to the addition of some self checkouts. Carts require a quarter and bags cost money, like all Aldi stores. I love the lady that stocks the meat department, if I'm not mistaken I believe her name is Sharon; she's very nice and will take time from stocking to show me where things are and will help me with a smile on her face the whole time. My husband says she's like a ray of sunshine that has yet to be noticed by all; and he's happy to have her as our personal sunshine. Their diary stays stocked and fresh, which I'm happy about now. And produce is coming along well too. I've notice a few new friendly and smiling faces there as well. I find myself shopping there more frequently than i used to.

Both my husband and I love their french bread pizzas as my husband has been eating them since he was a kid. We will most likely be making this Aldi our regular grocery shopping place or at least until the location in Stevensville opens. The biggest con of Aldis is still that they tend to only have one cashier at any given time. That can allow for long lines but for me it is worth it. Don't forget your quarter for a cart and reusable bags for your groceries.

The checkout cashier referred to me as "young lady ". apparently she is unaware of how offensive the reference is. Using that phrase is ageist and what gerontologists call "elderspeak" which is full of condescension and very patronizing. This hasn't happened frequently so when it does, I usually just smile and move on. She called me that twice, apparently thinking she is on top of things. We were in no hurry on our wedding anniversary. So we walked in and at first it was a farmers market. Nice like most farmers markets. Then you started walking around and saw they had so much more. It was a little grocery, a pet supply area, souvenirs, holiday room, and a huge greenhouse area. We spent so much time here we decided not to go to the beach and head home to plant our flowers. This place was amazing. We talked to Karen back in the nursery about flowers. She was very patient, kind and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back around the holidays because Karen was telling us how amazing the place is decorated.

They have the meats!!!…read more I searched high and low looking for a meat market that had wagyu steaks in the area. Family told me about this place and low & behold they have a large variety of meats at a reasonable price. Navigating the store is a bit cumbersome has they have it set up to flow a certain way. Other than that, for it to be on the smaller side of grocery stores it packs a lot of stuff from the butchered meat, to liquor, to seasonings. I had to do two laps to take it all in and stay to my grocery list, not randomly picking up stuff to purchase. Ultimately I picked up a few of their custom made brats, oxtail, and wings. The oxtail came out to $17 for what normally cost a bit more in other stores in other states. The wings prising wasn't bad either. So I'm definitely going to be back for that wagyu steak and other meats from the butcher area. Overall impression of Lowery's is high. Employees were friendly, they had a variety of goods, prices were reasonable.

Every time I go into rural king, I'm asked to apply for credit card. Well, I did online. My total…read moreannual income is 174k, my credit rating is 822 with trans union, I have all A's in every category accept for amount of applications I submitted with a C rating. Anybody who monitors credit rating will tell you I have exceptional credit rating. I'm 65 and have never been denied a credit card. My purpose for the card was convenience only because I shop frequently at rural king. Not anymore! There is not one reason that rural king can tell me why I was denied. It's the humiliation factor, plus an addition credit app on my credit report that disgust me. I'm here to warn all consumers, don't waste your time applying for rural king credit card. It will only frustrate you and hurt your credit. I now shop with customer friendly Lowe's, TSC, Home Depot, Amazon and all farm parts online tractor stores. Rural King carries the cheapest grade tractors and equipment. The one and only positive thing I can say about rural king is that they have a limited gun section. Rural King does not offer veteran discounts either. Are you seeing the big picture yet? Harbor Frieght just opened next door which is probably gonna run rural king outta business anyway. Those who shop frequently can also contest that rural king is not organized when running outta stock on commonly purchased items. I believe if rural king was managed better, it would be a desirable place to work. Also, paying a maintenance tech $12/hr is the reason you see lights out, etc... VERY POOR OWNERSHIP MANAGEMENT!​

Even has a deli so it's all you need if you're looking for meat. Been there 3 times and very happy with the service and the help they give you if you have a question. Highly recommend!!
