When my mom comes to town, this is a must stop for her. She loves Olive Cart and always walks out the door happy. Victoria was in the store today and she was super helpful. My mom was able to redeem the promotion of "finish the punch card, get a free item". I don't remember what the stipulations of those cards are but she uses them every time she comes in, so if you think you could become a regular, I would recommend one. If you enjoy cooking and experimenting im the kitchen, this is a fun place to visit to help you do just that. I've come here dozens of times over the years, both with my mom and with my best friend, and Olive Cart has never disappointed. They still have Covid measures going so don't forget your mask when visiting here, or downtown in general. One of the few tourist traps worth sticking the toes into, I had never been around this tiny fun town before and was introduced to quaint old fashioned streets the past weekend, colder weather gave us plenty of parking. Trotted over to the main drag of a whole two blocks to check out the game as well as variety stores, both fun tips too, but this place stood out as unique and something cleverly suited to my tastes, literally! I doubt most people would think they need to check out an aged olive extract bottle shop that isn't wine but I'm entirely more for this place than any cellar! The variety, flavors, and quality is rich and endlessly tickling taste buds. We had good fun sampling about ten, any worked for me, but it wasn't until I dropped some Huckleberry into my amount that I realized I would be buying. Tasted like a superior crafted jam, now eager to try it on everything from eggs to meats to salads, prices are a tad high but they offer a rewards program oddly stuck to old fashioned punch cards rather than integrated with the payment like Toast. I can't figure out why these summer centric sellers all along the street haven't banned together to promote a combined loyalty system that builds up for free products and perks for those frequenting this area. read more

This was the perfect tasting for a cold and wet rainy January. The shelves are all chromed out with dispensers for incredibly infused avocado and olive oils; dark and white balsamics infused with every imaginable flavors. The truffle and chipotle avocado oils were really good. The aged balsamic, truffle balsamic and smokehouse balsamic were tasty. Along with the avocado oils and balsamics we bought after trying them the cheesy bacon, habanero garlic heat and Parmesan artichoke blend for the oils or cream cheese. Can't wait to try them all out on top of fries, marinaded in chickens, mixed in with salads, as dips with crackers and blended into cheese balls and on top of portabella mushrooms. Mmm. Come on Fridays, it's 25% off. Tuesdays they give you two stamps for each bottle purchase. You get nothing on a Saturday. Fill the card and it gets you a bottle for free. read more

We stumbled upon this place while in town for ice cream! If I had to choose between the two on my next trip, it would be this place hands downs. We literally sampled all that was offered, so much so that mid shopping we had to excuse ourselves for the ladies room! Undeterred, we returned to finalize our top 12 pics and proceeded with the purchase. Of the three separate orders in our group, I had to ship mine home to Cali-- the shipping fee was worth every penny! Even better, the oils and balsamic vinegar arrived before I did! So guess what I had for dinner? Yup, a sampling of each item purchased with homemade sourdough breads and home grown tomatoes. I shall order again and again. I was so excited to see an Olive Cart brick and mortar location while visiting St. Joseph over the weekend! I visited the location in South Haven a few years ago and snagged some awesome products, and this time I got to share the love with my family! If you like oil and vinegar, this spot is for you! If you don't love oil and vinegar, this spot will make you love it! The gentleman who was working in the store was super knowledgeable about all of the products and mixed some amazing oil and vinegar sample concoctions for us to try! My favorite was the lemon avocado oil with smokehouse balsamic. I am looking forward to marinading some chicken breasts in it for the grill this summer! I also loved their spice blends and ended up buying three of them. My significant other and I both really liked the mango dragon jam and couldn't leave without a jar. My brother and sister in law, as well as my parents, picked up a few oils and spice blends as well. I'm excited to check out recipes on the Olive Cart website for other ways to use the products we got. I loved this place! it is SO unique. If you are in the area you really should stop and check it out. They stayed open a little late for us and we didnt even realize until we were leaving. We tried a lot of different flavours, and ended up buying some dessert-style balsamics. cherry, chocolate, almond, ans espresso. We got them as little mini bottles and they are very convenient. I have been drizzling them on toast and cream cheese and eating them for breakfast. Also, i bought a huge jar of "rocket" olives and they are SO delicious! Its jalepeno and garlic stuffed olives. I ate them all in the span of a week. We will definitely head back to this shop next time we are in the area.The staff are very knowledgeable and all the products you can taste first, and they are generally delicious. I stopped in this store on a weekend trip to St. Joes. The staff was friendly, very helpful, and was knowledgeable about the products. Although the oils and vinegars are pricey at 14.99 a bottle, I picked up some because of the unique flavors. I work in a grocery store with an olive oil/vinegar bar (ours are $6 a bottle LOL), yet I was impressed with the staff and how attentive they were to the customers during a busy Saturday afternoon. When you can buy quality oils and vinegars in the grocery store, it was pleasant to know that there were people ready to help and explain about the products and the owner. :) read more

I recently visited the olive art in Saint Joseph Michigan. I decided to put in an Internet order for some oil's and some olives, but unfortunately with my older mind I unfortunately put in 2 orders. After talking to Cici at one of the locations she informed me that I could not return the oil's for a refund or a credit. I told her I would pay the postage but she said no she could not except the return. I want to let all my senior friends out there who might have made a mistake by ordering too much that now you will be stuck with all these oils and not know what to do with them. This place is fantastic. I came here when I visited St. Joseph two years ago and had to come back when I was in town for the 4th of July weekend this year. They have so many oils, vinegars, mustards, jams, seasonings and salsas to try. The people that work there are very friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help you find the perfect flavors to take home.
