A family-owned business, I was able to take a tour of the farm with Mr. Huang himself. He showed us the greenhouses filled with citrus trees, flowering plants, herbs, air plants, and succulents, vegetable fields, fruit tree orchards, and even bee hives! The high standards and passion for sharing knowledge is palpable and I could especially see how this would be an especially great place to stop by to pick up high quality Chinese New Year fruit trees and flowers for amazing prices (they even have my fave, the rare Taiwanese yellow magnolia and dude, $1 pots!). I'd love to return in the summer to pick veggies with my kiddos, also think it's awesome that they carry rare Asian plants (I'm a bit of a succulent and air plants fan and they have varieties - even albino ones! - that I've never seen before!), harvest their own seeds, and are open to experimenting on creating new varietals

They had a good selection of pies, but unfortunately, they only sell them by the whole pie, and not the slice. I would've loved to try a slice of their pie. I did buy a half dozen of their cinnamon, apple cider donuts, and unfortunately, I was disappointed. First of all, they were dusted with way too much cinnamon sugar. It literally overtook the flavor of the doughnut. Secondly, unfortunately, the donuts were dry. Apple cider donuts are supposed to be soft, and moist in the middle, and they were just, well, dry in the middle. It definitely took away from the enjoyment of the doughnut.
