I forget his name, but whoever I spoke with was very honest upfront that my pits were too small of jobs for him to work on but he referred me to someone for both pits and the bbq as well. His recommendation was Dan who came out and took a look at all 3 things. I believe Dan is with another company, if he or anyone from this company know please kindly reply to this post and inform what company that is! Dan was fantastic, gave me costs and showed me the issues then and there. He also looked at my pit in my front courtyard and was able to solve the minor issue at no charge, simple fix. I decided I didn't want my backyard fire pit fixed because the front one is much nicer and now that it is fixed I doubt I will ever use the one in my backyard--another project yay. Will have to demo it one day. Dan then fixed the bbq and it now looks incredible and works great. I have since used it a handful of times with no issues. After only 1.5 years, the unit has already stopped working properly, which is unacceptable for such an expensive investment. Despite following all maintenance recommendations, I've had issues with burner failure, electrical and remote. When I reached out the owner, he was very unhelpful, unresponsive and extremely rude every time I was able to get hold of him. A fireplace should last much longer than this, and I would not recommend HB FIRE PITS based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing from them, I strongly suggest looking into other options or ensuring you get an extended warranty. Also my next-door neighbor also purchase the same fireplace like mine at the same time, and she's been having many problems with the hardware and the owner. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from HB fire pits, especially from the owner. When my fireplace started having issues, I reached out for repairs and maintenance, expecting professional assistance. Instead, I was met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Rather than standing behind their product and helping to resolve the problem, the owner was unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility. Calls and messages were ignored or met with short, unprofessional responses. When I finally did get a response, it was clear they were more interested in avoiding the issue rather than actually fixing it.
