His communication skills are excellent and the quality of his work is excellent as well. He goes above and beyond what's expected and needed. Even though my brother is developmentally disabled, he's able to live independently with help from me. This is quite a task since I live 2600 miles away from him. My brother recently had a flood in his kitchen from a broken dishwasher that leaked into the condo downstairs from him. I called John Uken (JP Contracting) to fix the damaged cabinet and flooring beneath the sink, work with the granite vendor to replace the kitchen countertops, install new sink, and replace and install new dishwasher. John emailed and texted me the job invoice and was in constant communication with me and my brother. John treated my brother with respect and dignity and was able to schedule the repairs in a timely basis. He texted me photos of the work he did as well as the completed job. Maurice and his crew went above and beyond to complete the roofing in one day on our 2,400 sq foot home and worked on a Sunday to complete the chimney leak issue to avoid further damage to our interior wall. Maurice contacted us prior to each visit, explained his work thoroughly, and took such pride and passion in his work. sloppy. rude. no respect for property. did a sewer job on…read moremy property. came home from vacation to find their lunch trash laying around under my trees. they has 20' right a way to work. claimed half of my yard with out permission. ripped up my trees and grass. worked on their equipment throwing grease tubes and oil containers on the ground. removed the soil they scrapped from my yard and used elsewhere. brought in new soil full of glass, even found a mower blade. did not return my property the way they found it, as per agreement. stomped on my flower beds. blocked my driveway. basically held me hostage in my house while they did whatever they wanted! if i ever see them heading towards my home again i will call the police!
