My kids and I were part of their kids bowl for free for the summer program and we had so much fun. I had not been bowling in years and my children had never been, so it was a nice experience to be able to share this together. I like that every seems clean and the shoes are in good condition. They have different size bowling balls for children and adults. My kids liked the size 6 balls as they were lighter than the others. We didn't try their food, but they do have some options for food or drinks. They also have a section with tables and chairs to sit in while you eat your food if you don't want to drink eat or drink while you bowl. The bathroom could be a little cleaner, but they were at least better than at some other places. We will be coming back again soon! read more

We had a friend come in to town and decided to visit this place for some bowling. $50 for one hour, $5 shoe rentals... A little pricey but not bad. When paying, there was a tip prompt on their pin pad machine (take that as a positive or negative as you will). The lane we were on froze up 3 times on pin resets. Due to their aging technology, we had to engage the front desk each time. With us being on the clock, this absolutely sucked as we lost time. Some people do not know how to manage their liquor correctly. Blocking the walkways to the bowling areas, walking across the play area of other's games. Very annoying. Made it feel like a bar which happened to have a bowling alley in it. Not a bowling alley which happened to have a bar. The arcade is a rip off right off the get go, charging $2.00 for a new (TAP) player's card. Price for games varied. We saw they offered pizza but didn't order any. Wasn't sure if we had to order at the bar, the front desk, or somewhere else. Didn't seen any signage saying 'order here's so maybe I missed it. To their credit, their bathrooms were extremely clean. I opted for a slice of hot Hawaii pizza which consisted of Canadian bacon, jalapeños and pineapple; it came out with pepperoni not the Canadian bacon that was advertised , the pizza It was decent not bad but The rest of the party ordered whole pies and it seemed to take a good while to come out that they almost asked for refunds. Needless to say they closed the kitchen because they were having issues with oven. So I guess the manager on duty was allowing outside food in. It's just a basic bowling morning special, it could use some updates and the bathroom needs to get attended to hourly as it wasn't that clean. Horrible experience!!! We were told after driving 20 minutes to get there that they wouldn't honor a special they had online for $60 from 630-8pm. They stated that it's only available if we previously reserved a lane. Well when we looked online there were 12 lanes available. So that's why we didn't reserve. They would not honor the special in house. So when we went back online to reserve the special was no longer available because it was now 635 pm. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!! so i went to harley's for my first time to reserve a lane , i get there and they say it's full until 9:45. I had no problem so i decided to wait a bit until actually going up to the counter and reserving. When i decided to go up and reserve the guy with the beard and pony tail had a stick up his ass & replied with "go online" without even looking up at me , just straight walked up to the counter started typing on the computer didn't even ask what he could help me with , i literally had to say something for him to reply and when he did reply didn't even acknowledge my presence just replied with "go online". This place has undeniably the worst pizza I have had in my entire life. All 3 pizzas tasted like cardboard. The crust was super thin and burnt- there was almost no cheese. The pepperoni was dry. Doused it in ranch and still inedible. No one liked it. Awful. I could have used a drink but the bar was closed- looked to be a good full bar too but why closed on a weekend? There is not a good selection of bowling balls, maybe only 4 sizes. The place is outdated and the seating layout is terrible. 2 stars because bowling here is cheap and parking is easy. I love to bowl! I hope my extreme passion for the sport and the lack of variety of options for bowling locations in the local counties doesn't interfere with my opinion for this Harley's Bowl.. I will try my best! Harley's has been around forever! I've been coming to this particular location for at least 15 years now with sports teams, after prom parties, family reunions, and so on. It's very spacious, has a ton of parking, and great for event accommodations. If you're part of their email club you get deals and offers quit often, and they sometimes have Groupon deals that are well worth the buy when posted. Over the past few years, though, there seems to be a lack of maintenance up keep and quality hiring and staff training. Things have gotten a little dirtier, been fixed with duct tape rather than being properly replaced, the silver mechanics that pull the pins up and set them down in formation seem to be out of date and knock pins over on occasion, and other little things like that. It also seems understaffed sometimes as the front desk person will have to run to the bar then run back to the front desk and seems very over worked. Again, I love bowling, I love Harley's, and I think this is a great event space with reasonable deals! But lately things have been a little under kept and I would love to see a change in how it is run and the quality of the sporting materials and building up keep. *Note: For whatever reason this is the hardest place to find sometimes and maps just does direct you the right way. You will have to go through a couple neighborhoods and question if your phone is lying to you, but just stick to the route and pay close attention and you'll get there. If it helps, you can plug in the 99c Store or the Goodwill that are right to it and maybe you'll get better directions that way. Having the 1st person who arrives drop and send a pin is a great idea as well. Good luck! read more

I chose to give Harley's another chance after their manager, Charlie, reached out to me and I am glad that I chose to do so. My friends and I were met with great service from Nicole. She greeted us and got us settled in our lane. We had a great time there and are planning on returning to bowl at night sometime because as we were leaving (about 9:30 pm), the music came on and the bright lights were swapped with colorful ones. Harley's Camarillo Bowl is generally pretty much your average run of the mill bowling alley. Disco lights, outdated playlists, and vending machines. For all these reasons I cannot critique too hard. Normally a classic 5 star gets the job done. However, for some odd reason it feels as if I am walking into a SCP room, I felt as if I was not in time or space on Earth while sober. That was the effect this place had on me and and my friends. The space, people and employees were all unreal experiences. The employees is what brings it down to a three star unfortunately. Their 8-year old soccer coach assertiveness was snarky and uncalled for. Their ability to be direct could come off as helpful but was frankly odd. Since Wagon Wheel closed their doors, I have made Camarillo Harley Bowl my house. It presents a fun and family environment. On my league nights, I especially enjoy our regular bartender, Vanessa. She is fun, amazing to us bowlers and knows her drinks. For a fun time while bowling, I definitely recommend the nights Vanessa is working because she makes it fun, and for the nights she isn't working, I usually refrain from drinking. I usually only go bowling on the weekend for the unlimited bowling specials, and Harley's has Atomic Bowling on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm-12:30am for $15. Not a bad deal. I was really impressed that there were a lot of bowling balls to choose from and plenty for the entire alley. Bar: I know people shouldn't judge a bowling alley by it's bar, but this is where the reduction of 1 star comes. I don't think I've ever gone to a bowling alley that doesn't offer beer by the pitcher. They only had BOTTLES!! However, they DID have Cafe Patron and that always hits the spot! We had a great opportunity last night to use our Groupon for two hours of bowling with shoe rentals for up to four for $30. It was pretty crowded on a Friday but they had one lane open. We had no problems with the ball return or pins but the bowling balls were pitted and dirty and the scoring was incorrect by a pin or two. They were out of a few things at the bar (pineapple juice and some Mike's) but the chicken strips and fires were good. The restrooms were ick--this says a lot about a joint. We had fun as we aren't serious bowlers and I think we would come here more if they did some updating and cleaning. read more
