BEWARE!!!!!!! after spending nearly $5000 to get bike rebuilt nearly after 100 120 miles or so whatever they stated rear piston failed due to ea technicians mistake let me start with sane after leaving the shop because they told me they could not honor the warranty or do anything else with the bike because someone else had changed the spark plugs and change the oil filter and it is not the oil they use no worries at the spark plugs they put in for one, there is no reason for me to take a bike somewhere else and void the warranty and put wrong spark plugs in for no reason it makes no sense and they have the nerve to tell me that's exactly what I did when I try to send them pictures through email of proof of parts, they said were missing they rejected emails I don't know how you do it but I will send pictures and attachments since I don't wanna respond to emails. I will leave reviews and hope that this deter someone else from taking their bike to the shop. After leaving the shop, I took it directly to a Harley dealership where they told me too old for them to put on the shop I agreed but the technician still help me out stated the problem was the spark plug was too long and incorrect spark plugs, which I agree, but those plugs were the same ones that were left in there before Harley Custom Cycle even worked on the bike why the technician would leave them on there I have no idea except the work orders never stated spark plugs, oil, change, oil filter, which Max and Larry both said they performed 100% incorrect. They never change the spark plugs nor did they bother to look at the gate code on the oil filter which states it is from seven years ago people make mistakes I get it but don't step the customer over a technicians mistake I spent nearly 5 grand to get a running bike and for you guys to blatantly lied and treat me as if I did something wrong it's not OK all I'm asking is to write you're wrong, right? This shop sucks. Every time our bike has been in here, something has been wrong. They call you to pick it up but its never actually ready. Lights not working or something. They claim they do a test ride. Then why is it still broken every single time. Then they want to charge you more. And more. And more. All they are is a huge waste of time and money. Wow where to start.. I brought my Harley dyna to them to do a cam chest kit install I also decided to run a new pipe I went with the spc concepts big bore. I chose this shop because of Derrick from tcb performance he promised me they would take good care of me. So I made a 1hr 20 min trip to have them wrench on my bike. These guys did a terrible job on my bike and permanently damaged my bike. First of all my original pipe got ruined when they let one of their employees take my bike for a joy ride and he melted his boot all over the pipe. So that was a nightmare to sell because the pipe looked like dog crap after. Then they installed a second hand Thunder max tuner on my bike after I had paid $1100 for a brand new one. Which they didn't even upload properly because I had a vin error reading on my dash. Which they claim came to them like that which is hilarious. Then when they got my new exhaust pipe from spc concepts they couldn't fit the front o2 sensor onto the bike with the new exhaust system so they went ahead without notifying me and took a grinder to my frame and cut a chunk of metal out of my frame. The most "Mickey mouse" job ever. Then they went above and beyond the shadyness and didn't even tell me about it. I had to find out by myself when I got my bike back to LA. When I tried to have them make things right the shop owner Larry tried to convince me this was standard protocol and that the exhaust manufacturer advised them to cut my frame to make the exhaust pipe to fit. Which after talking to the spc concepts owners mark and Greg of the company they told me they never even spoke to this man and would never advise a shop or customer to make modifications to make their products fit. Everything they make is bolt on ready. If you cherish your Harley like I do then do not take your bike to them. They are a unethical shady shop. They even went as far as bashing Eric from jiffy tune, another business in the area claiming Eric will blow up your motor and never take your bike there. read more
