I've been curious about Network Spinal care and how the nervous system impacts our lives and health. I found Dr. Gianna and Dr. Kevin through a directory of global practitioners and although I live in Palo Alto, I felt compelled to try their approach. This is a therapy that isn't super invasive and requires active participation and awareness of the patient. Thinking about energy as a legitimate factor of our lives that can be supported feels like an intellectual stretch, in some ways, but I am following the process and trying to notice how this is bringing more awareness to my posture, my ability to react to things, and the way I move through the world. I have been coming to Harmony for ~18 months and the biggest improvement in my life has been a stronger sense of clarity and conviction in making life choices. Like many people I have a lot on my plate and it use to overwhelm me into depression, anxiety, and physical manifestations (back, neck, and shoulder pain). When I first came to Harmony I was suffering from severe back spasms and taking muscle relaxers. I have been going to the Harmony Center regularly for the last year, and I have felt so supported during my time there. They are both great at talking you through the style of chiropractic that they do - healing known as Network Spinal Analysis - and being present with you during each step of your healing journey. Personally, I started with Network Spinal Analysis because I was experiencing issues with my tailbone (numbness, pain). My time at the Harmony Center has definitely improved my connection to and the function of my tailbone - I am now able to move and connect to it in ways that I didn't realize were possible. I'd been complaining about numbness in the back of my head at the occipital ridge. Massage helped but didn't fix the problem. I'd been advised to try a chiropractor, which generally frightens me.
