This company was professional and courteous. They arrived on time and worked hard to disassemble and move my furniture. Unlike some moving companies, Hands on Moving did not milk the clock or hit me with any extra fees. They were very easy and straightforward to work with. The movers took care in making sure my belongings not only arrived undamaged but, they also put every box and piece of furniture exactly where I wanted. I do not remember if they said it was included in the pricing however, I am so grateful they went out of their way. It made my transition into my new home go so much quicker. I do want to note, I took off 1 star because the movers did not have on face masks ( review written during COVID19 era) and that made me a little weary. They were even up for the challenge of moving me from a three story apartment to my own home. Only problem is they clearly damaged my 65" TV, by carrying it ONE HANDED, out to the truck. One of the movers put the TV over his shoulder, went down three flights of stairs, and loaded it on the truck. When we arrived at the new place, they brought it in together, and one of the movers wanted me to inspect it for damage. There was no damage either of us could see, but he didn't advise we turn on the TV to look for any damage. So they proceed unloading the truck, gave them a tip, and they left. About an hour later, I finally got around to turning on the TV, as thing was pretty busy with the move, and there is damage to the LCD panel. Which is NOT visible when the TV is off. I talked it over with the Operations Manager, Kevin Berry, and he said there is no damage based on the pictures I provided, and the TV company should cover the defects. After reaching out to the company, they said there is clear damage to the TVs LCD panel, which wouldn't show up when the TV is off. This would be caused by being moved incorrectly. They said they will not be helping with the TV. I sent the note I received to them over to Kevin, and he said "We will not be covering replacement of the TV. Not only was there no indication of physical damage at delivery, the TV was also off and had been wrapped with your covering upon the crews arrival. Our crew is very familiar with the proper techniques to move all items inside our customer homes, and we have decades of experience in doing so." If they have decades of experience, one of the procedures upon arriving with an electronic, such as a TV, should be to turn it on to check for damage, as not all damage can physically be seen. And my TV had a light TV cover on it provided by UHaul, that is hardly any sort of protection, and it was lightly thrown over it. This company clearly would rather protect their image and selves, than by working with the customer to come up with a solution to something they caused. They will be hearing from my attorney.

We were amazed and grateful at how professional, fast, efficient AND gracious these gentlemen were. A dear friend was moving from a rented room to her new apartment. We offered to help, not realizing the move would include many heavy pieces of furniture. Ooops! Problem 1) Far past retirement, we're no longer physically able to move anything bigger than smalls and non-heavy boxes, so we needed 'muscle for hire'... Problem 2) We had no idea who to call, since we haven't moved in nearly 20 years. Back then ('cause we could), we moved it all ourselves... we never had to get help. After sorting thru more than a dozen companies' online profiles & reviews, and getting actual quotes from four prospects, Alpha Force Moving was at the TOP of our list for the Best of the Best. Early on, Steven was great with phone help, and answered all my questions patiently. He let us know what was involved (truck rental needed), what materials/tools they would bring/include (saving us money), and how they serve each move to meet different customer situations. Even with that excellent service, attitude and customer care, they were also REALLY reasonable with their fee. I realized "Hey... we can do this (on budget) for our friend!" On the day of the move, Alpha Force contacted us to confirm truck pickup and timing. They let us know that Ricardo & Nick were on the way to meet us and their team rolled seamlessly with our change in Truck pickup location (Oracle instead of Prince location). At the rental desk, Ricardo was authorized as the driver on my rental (easy peasy) so I didn't even have to take the wheel of the 15ft truck (which, I admit, I was not looking forward to driving... just too big). I forgot to mention it was RAINING, too! I never would've been comfortable wheeling that big truck around! At the house, they were ultra careful with our friend's furniture and belongings, using blankets and wrap where needed. Ricardo and Nick quickly had all the furniture safely loaded, and the homeowner was pleased at the care they took moving the big stuff around her wall corners and property. They even grabbed the boxes and smalls I thought we'd have to take ourselves in the Kia later (had thought we'd run out of the time/rate I'd budgeted for). They drove the best route to the new place, and had everything safely moved into the apartment WELL within the time scheduled. Did I mention they worked closely with our friend making sure these big furniture pieces wouldn't need to be re-positioned later, too? Super helpful, given that we're all seniors here, lol, so where Alpha Force was placing them, they were going to stay :-) And finally, they handled getting the truck safely returned to UHaul and checked in (early even!) so I could stay and help my friend get settled. Anyway, the above is a lot of detail, but my takeaway was I never want to move anything without Alpha Force! They treated us like family, and their professionalism made this move so much easier than any I've ever done myself in years previous! They're a GREAT team... friendly, accommodating, considerate and just wonderful to work with! I HIGHLY recommend these guys.

We both have some disabilities, and my husband has a lot of chronic pain after a car accident a year ago. We had some friends come in to help get things boxed up after a terrible experience with another moving company, who told me one thing and my husband something completely different. I decided to be proactive and look on Angie's List for reputable moving companies, and H & R was the first one that came up. Robert was incredibly nice on the phone, and I knew right away they were the company we would go with. Our movers, Shawn and Leo, are THE BOMB. We were notified yesterday they'd be a little later than originally scheduled, but that was fine. I had some last minute stuff to take care of anyway, so I certainly wasn't going to be unhappy about a couple extra hours to get stuff finished up. There was construction on my street, so unfortunately they had to park BEHIND our apartment and then move everything that way, especially since everyone and their brother were parked where the moving truck should have gone. I'm going to be totally honest, it is always REALLY hard for me to relax, particularly when I feel like I should be doing things and aren't. After a while I just got comfortable on the couch and let them take care of it. They even moved my heavy-ass armoire with (mostly) the greatest of ease. (As a good friend of ours said about the armoire the last time we moved, "eff that heavy ass thing, I am NEVER moving it again." We also have a tricky cal king bed frame that needed to be taken apart. No problem. Also found out that there were roaches (ew) nesting underneath it. When they got to our new house, we sprayed it down with Raid to make sure they weren't our welcoming committee. Overall, Leo and Shawn, plus H & R Moves You, have done an amazing job helping us during a crazy stressful time, not just for us but America in general. I cannot recommend them enough.

H & R Movers AZ Review…read more Very unfortunate experience, not only the physical damages done to our appliances but the lack of customer service. It was great over the phone but a nightmare afterwards. See below for details: The service to move some appliances was requested for a Monday at 11:30am, the owner advised the charge was $200, for two man. Sunday night, he contacted us to advise that he had a change of plans and could only make it at 7am, unfortunately, we were in a rush to get those appliances and agreed to change the time last minute and cancel the plumber that was going to help out to plug in all the stainless steel appliances such as a dishwasher, refrigerator and stove. Monday comes, and the owner shows up by himself. The appliances were not even covered with any blankets. He struggles to get in the appliances by himself through the doors, and drags the refrigerator scratching it, as I call him out he said - no, i'm not. Then proceeds to complain about me calling him out. The pain of seeing things getting damaged proceeded, fortunately our handy man was able to help him get the refrigerator in. At payment, he was paid for the amount he requested and got a $20 tip. Shouldn't have happened but it did. While he wrote "No damages" on the receipt, we corrected it to state "Damages". The following week, I proceeded to contact HR Movers to attempt to file a complaint. I leave a voicemail. Days later, we receive a call from a very nice lady asking for the dolly that was left in the backyard. We then followed-up by asking her if she was also calling re the voicemail left regarding filing a complaint. She then said her phone lines were not working correctly and that she wasn't aware of any damages but that was going to contact us to follow-up. The owner then followed up by calling to threaten me that if we leave a bad review he will then let everyone know not to hire us for our business. Sadly, it took me a while to leave a review but was concerned on how he was going to react being so new in Tucson, this was a HORRIBLE experience.
