This crew was incredible. This was probably the worst assignment movers could ever have. Large heavy furniture from a spacious house to a small (619') second floor apartment. These guys knocked it out of the park. It was hot, tight stairs, boxes all over the place. Yikes! Everything went beautifully. Everything arrived safely and was put in proper place without a scratch! Linda coordinated our move and, although she was transitioning to a new position, agreed to see the process through. Unfortunately, there were several issues throughout the move: 1) Our move dates changed, and those changes were communicated to Linda. However, the original truck reservation was never canceled, resulting in a truck arriving on the wrong date. 2) The size of the truck was significantly underestimated despite detailed information being provided regarding the contents of our home, including the golf cart. As a result, not all of our household goods could fit on the truck. We immediately contacted Linda to discuss how the situation would be resolved, but she never returned our call. We were left to make our own arrangements to transport the remaining household goods and golf cart to our destination. 3) While the moving crew was professional and worked hard, there was damage to several items. The damage could have been prevented through better packing practices, including properly protecting furniture and avoiding placing multiple framed pictures together in a single box. Overall, the crew performed well under difficult circumstances, but the planning, communication, and coordination of the move fell well below expectations. Dakota was so calm, professional and reassuring we asked for him to be assigned for our move. He staged all the packing to be ready for the move and even called ahead to leave notes just in case he wouldn't be assigned for our move. I was thrilled to hear his voice this morning for our move. He was joined by Corey and new hire James. The three of them really seemed to like working together. They joked together, worked hard, dealt with anything we threw at them with a smile and a "yes, ma'am." Moved out of my apartment on Sabino Canyon to the East side and picked this mover because they were referred by Long Realty. I would not recommend them. One of the men was new and was given feedback in front of me. They damaged a table that has been in the shop for three weeks with no communication from Clint. I had to proactively call twice to get an update. I also had minor damage to my bedroom furniture and a huge chunk taken out of my wall in my new place that required a handy man to come and fix. Overall poor communication and poor service. If you do use them then make sure to be involved throughout the process and take your time on the walkthrough. Avoid at all costs!!! We hired this company for packing and loading services. The packing team attempted to lie about the time they arrived (we had time stamped phone records for when they called for gate code). Then the packing team came without enough materials for the packing (ran out of tape and boxes). It was apparent that they just wanted to leave and were not interested in getting the job done. The next day the loading crew had to finish the packing, they also did not have enough supplies and used what we had on hand as well as what we went and purchased. Unbeknownst yo us, they packed our custom wooden dining chairs without any wrapping or protective pads. Which means when they arrived cross country they were all damaged. They packed a solid wood table pedestal in a stainless steel trash can, resulting in not only scratches and gashes on the wood, but the can being dented up. When confronted with pictures of the poor packing and resultant damages, the manager at location shrugged and hid behind the release of liability, trying to blame shifting loads and ignoring the poor packing. We have done a lot of cross country moves over the last 10 years, and this was by far the worse experience we have had. read more

I have hired this company twice in the past 3 years. The first was a great experience with two gentlemen who were very experienced. The second, more recent, in May of 2022 was a horrible experience. It was a young crew that struggled from the start and midday informed me that not all would fit in the truck and so I asked them to prioritize the big stuff; the stuff I couldn't move with my own vehicle like lawn furniture, basketball hoop. Once they arrived at the new house they informed me that they left their tools at the old house so I went to retrieve them. They left the lawn furniture behind which required a phone call and a complaint the next day. A few of their managers brought a truck and moved it for me which I was thankful however, approximately 4 car loads of miscellaneous items were left behind which I had to move. It's like they hit their time and just left the rest of the stuff behind. Furthermore, now that I am settled in the house, I realized when making the beds the other day that they never put back together my son's platform bed. Not sure where the screws went but the boards were never secured. I also have damage to one of my sections to the couch, the frame is broken, my platform rocker as well has wood damage to the back of the chair. I should have inspected things more closely since now a claim can not be filed. When booking with this company, ensure you request an experienced crew. Moving is always stressful and so much work. This move was an overall horrible experience. I will not use this company again. read more

We have tried several times to reach them and they refuse to call back. Been two months now and they have been silent. THEY STEAL YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!! Yesterday, we hired them to move our stuff to a new apartment. I packed up everything and was ready to go for them just to pick up all the boxes and I don't know why the hell they packed up my personal belongings without permission is just sitting on the table. I have a Fujifilm camera and lenses I put on the table for me to bring that day. The camera bag is just next to it with all my laptops so I can put them in the bag by myself separately since they are very delicate. While I'm busy putting other stuff in my car. I came back inside the house and my camera and Big camera lens are COMPLETELY GONE! I asked one of their guys and he said he packed it up for me. Which is very Weird! All my personal belongings are there except just my camera and lens they wrapped. So I went to the truck and found my camera which is really bazaar, he wrap my camera with the big blanket that they use for furniture and put it on top of the box inside the truck and then my other most expensive lens is gone. I was freaking out. And then their guy said they pack it up for me in the box??! The camera bag is just next to it and they didn't even pack my other stuff. The hair blower they just left on the floor and my laptops. But the camera and lens they took them. Then he told me to wait till we arrived to the other apartment so I can open the boxes obviously it's impossible that it's there because I packed them all and they are all completely full and that lens is huge to try and squeeze in the box. So I waited. They arrived there and put the boxes and I open them right away, and took everything out there and there are Zero lenses there. I confronted him and now he said he doesn't know about the camera I asked him if I can check the front of the truck, and he did open it and automatically grab his backpack in front of me. And I asked him nicely if I can check his backpack or just open it in-front of me and he refused it and act very suspicious. I argued with them. Because first, my camera gear is all there on the table next to the camera bag and other stuff but they only grab my camera and the expensive lens and the camera bag still there empty, which we already told them nothing to pack up anymore but pick up the boxes. And Why the hell did he wrap my camera with a big blanket and put it inside the truck? The camera bag is just next to the camera gears on the table. I called the COPS and filed a police report for them. So EVERYONE, DO NOT trust these guys is like inviting THEFT inside your HOUSE! PS: I am still not done with you guys. I have a huge circle of people in Tucson and I will let everybody KNOWS what you guys did. My furniture was damaged and STEAL personal stuff my personal belongings without permission. After booking my move and paying a deposit, I didn't hear anything from the company until the day of the move when they showed up late. Friendly, clean, polite movers, but extremely inefficient and unprepared. I had prepared in advance by reading suggestions and tips prepared by movers where they advise clearly labeling all items and boxes on all four sides and top, and clearly marking 'Fragile', 'This End UP', 'Do Not Stack', etc., when appropriate for breakables. Did that. I also drove to my new home days in advance of my move, as they advise, and placed large brightly colored labels above each door so that there would be no question about which is the office, guest bedroom, master bath, kitchen, etc. I attached stickers and masking tape to the locations on walls in each room where furniture should be placed. How did it go? Low and behold, they didn't read or care. That was time and money not well spent. Unfortunate, because if they'd just exercised some common sense, care, and focused attention, or perhaps followed their own advice, it would have been an easy move. I'm not a picky person. I'm flexible. I've moved a lot. So my expectations are reasonable and I don't expect everything to be perfect, but heck. My grandmother's china and framed photographs carefully packed in boxes marked Dining Room/Kitchen, Fragile, This end up, and Do Not Stack (as recommended per movers guidelines), were found days later upside down and sideways in random places, the master closet and guest bedroom under three or more boxes of books. There was minor damage to an ottoman, entryway table and oil painting. I decided to just report the oil painting since it seems easy to repair although the company is impossible to deal with. That was six weeks ago. The loss manager scheduled a visit to see the painting, and he never showed up. I had a great move by this company many years ago. That's why I've called them twice since then for subsequent moves. But they are not the same company. Their ads are great. They say all the right things. But as far as work goes, I would have been better off hiring a couple of high school students. Two Men & A Truck is/are a monumental disappointment. I'm lucky not more of my stuff was damaged. The worst part, aside from the price (yes, you pay for their inefficiency), is that I am not a physically strong person. I called the office several times with questions leading up to our packing and move dates and Jessie was always very helpful and patient to answer all my questions. For the day of the packing, Jacob and William showed up on time and packed our entire house very fast but also made sure to do an excellent job so that nothing was damaged during the move. They were courteous to work around our nap room for our baby until baby was awake without it slowing their progress one bit. They were friendly and extremely efficient. For the day of the move, both Jacob and William were there again with two others (Alejandro and Jordan). All 4 of them worked hard to get all of our furniture disassembled quickly and loaded in Tucson and then again to get everything assembled and unloaded to the exact locations we wanted it all in our new house. We've already told several friends and family members that we would never move again without hiring Two Men and a Truck. If/when that day comes again, we wouldn't hesitate to request Jacob and William as our packers/movers because they truly made the entire experience so easy for us! Definitely a mixed experience with these guys. They called to confirm the time with me the day before, but then on the day off they were nearly two hours late because they had a different time in their system. They made it up by sending an extra two guys to help me meet the time I needed the pod complete by. I only had them loading some moving pods, and when unloading them at my destination found a number of damages, including broken lamp shades, torn fabric, scratched wood surfaces and completely destroyed screws from my bed. I know they were rushed to get everything loaded, but the damages along with the timing mixup definitely didn't lead to a good experience overall. read more

We had Two Men and a truck move some really heavy stuff right here on our own property. Hector Koby and David showed up and listened to what needed to be moved and where it needed to be placed, they moved 10 windows that were encased in steel and weighed 150 pounds each as well as a heavy steel island and some appliances. I was so glad we did not have to move the stuff ourselves. They showed up and got the job done in under one hour and did not break anything or injure themselves. I think they were very professional and worked quickly and would recommend them to anyone that needs some help moving big heavy stuff. Filled out the online request form for a quote on Sunday, received an email from Ms. Jimmie Monday morning letting me know the date I requested was available and asked me to reply with specific listings of items in each room to be moved for quote. I replied 2 hours later and have yet to hear back 48 hours later. Website mentions getting an online quote within 24 hours but that is not the case in my experience. Trying to get a quote is impossible. Their website must not even work because my request there resulted in nothing but a form letter back saying a quote would follow. Nothing. I emailed again..nothing. I called and went through the entire listing of my items and then the guy couldn't give me a quote because their system said I had to talk to the local company. Locals were supposed to call me the next morning. Nothing. Now it's three days away from my moving date and when I finally get ahold of someone local they say they're booked for another week. We moved in February 2020 from a rural home on a dirt road outside Tucson to the tiny mountain town of Julian, California, a house on a hillside with difficult entry. Our experience with Two Men and a Truck was great from beginning to end. The price was better than other movers we contacted, without the pressure that several put on us. Everyone was courteous and friendly and, best of all, honest in telling us what was and wasn't possible (we have a lot of stuff). The move went smoothly; at our request they gave us time to drive the 400 miles and settle in before delivery; disassembled things were reassembled; nothing was broken. I'm always nervous about moving as there is so much that has to be done, but Two Men and a Truck made my move a lot easier. I moved a few of my things over to cut down on time, but unsure of what I could get done, estimated a few extra boxes than I ended up having. I received an estimate via email from Julie and a very thorough confirmation email. Arranging the move was very easy, and the estimate was accurate. Moving a few of my boxes helped, but I didn't want to deal with any of the big stuff, taking up the bulk of the time. They estimated 1-3 hours with a minimum for travel and completed the move in just under two hours. They charge by every 15 minutes after an hour, which is extremely fair pricing. The movers arrived at ten after 8 (ETA was 8-9, and Julie estimated 8:30 based upon where their office is located). They explained the paperwork very thoroughly and immediately got to work wrapping and loading up the truck. They were able to park close and load up my one bedroom apartment in less than an hour. Driving over an unloading took even less time, and I was thoroughly impressed. They asked where to put everything before coming in and rearranged things when I changed my mind (it was hard to know before seeing everything in the room). They were super friendly the entire time and very professional. They had me walk-thru and inspect the furniture when I was done to ensure nothing was damaged, and then they had me check the truck. Everything was accounted for and brought over securely. One of my chairs is broken and needs to be replaced, and they were extra careful with it. I was able to pay by card and tip by cash, but I believe you can tip on the card. I got cash as some movers have only allowed tip by card. I almost moved last year, and they were booked up. I understand why. If you're moving during a busy time (such as summer), anyone leftover at last minute charges much more (can't comment on the service as I didn't move at the time). I am not sure how to start this. we sold our home in Tucson and needed a moving company to come in a put everything in storage. Two Men and a Truck were recommended. packing day went fine until my husband told me that he had an item that he told them was not to pack. That evening, this item was missing. We assumed that it got packed and the next day when the crew arrived, they were asked about it, they opened some boxes and it was not found. it was a small wallet thing that contained a DEA card for receiving drugs to physicians offices. It had to be reported if it were missing. Meanwhile, my husband was working at home and on a conference line. Apparently, one member of the crew took this personally and was yelling, cursing and ripping open boxes. They then phoned their management in Tucson, unpacked the truck and left! Unprofessional does not even cover this. I signed a contract with them and paid all deposits. After reaching out to their management, we were told that my husband threatened them! They refused to come back out. We had to be out of the house that evening because it was the closing date. After calling around, we found someone else to move us. After several calls to different movers who could not move us that soon, I was told by three of them that this company is really unprofessional and not to consider them again. Buyer be ware! we still have not found the DEA ( Drug Enforcement Agency) card although it has been cancelled! read more

Horrendous service!!!! If you are moving anything remotely valuable stay away from this company. Hiring them is equivalent to donating your stuff to them as they do what they please with your stuff. 1st they did not send me any paperwork before the move. When I called asking for paperwork, the lady at the other end verbally confirmed the date and time. They did not send me the paperwork. Then the movers broke one of the most expensive pieces along with another table. Value was more than $5000. Then started the train of lies. Driver said its company policy to replace broken furniture. Someone will call in 24hrs. No one called for 1 wk. Then they call, they threw away my very expensive furniture without any permission/communication with me. And they had the audacity to offer approx $300 per the pre move agreement they never sent me. They blamed not giving me the paperwork on me as well.The Manager Ken Taub's attitude was as if he was doing me a favor. And he claims he has no superiors. They then did a sham insurance claim which was denied based on premove agreement which they never gave me. Absolutely Horrendous service and ethics. After a 1 month of torturous ordeal with them I was able to get less than 20% of my damages reimbursed. And the Manager claims this is what he calls " above and beyond service " . read more

They immediately put my wife at ease (she is normally very nervous about having people we don't know inside the house). The job was finished early and under the estimate.
