What a beautiful store right at Harmony square. We stopped by to have some ice cream in Harmony and came across this amazing store. All handmade pottery. So much to look at. I saw a lot of things that I loved. Platters, vases, cups, pictures, jewelry and more. I purchased a pitcher that has a whisk attached to it for making batters. Loved it. Friendly customer service. You will find something for every budget ... great place to buy gifts from. They also sell soaps and candles by the way. read more

My wife bought me a sunshine coffee mug from here decades ago and I broke it. To be honest, I was devastated as it was my favorite mug. My wife said to me one day let's go to Harmony to get you another mug. After a beautiful 3 hour drive on a Saturday, we got to the town of Harmony and I dashed into the pottery shop. Not only did they have a beautiful replacement coffee mug, we bought my wife one as well that I use to make her coffee every morning, as the start of my day as a dedication, to tell her how much I love her. She got a mug with a butterfly design, which is exquisite. Thank you Harmony Pottery for saving the day. My plan is to come up again soon on a romantic getaway weekend to visit the wonderful shop of Harmony Pottery. read more

Harmony is a small little town but we stopped in on Christmas Day on the way to Cambria to snap some pics and check out the area. Definitely were interested in some pics of the cow sculptures. To our surprise the pottery shop  was open and had some unique gifts which we bought for some people who collect those types of items. There were bowls, trivets, candles, candle holders, t-shirts, postcards, and kinds of other items. Many made of ceramic or stone material. Some great unique items to collect or get for gifts. There were polished rocks with words carved into them. To my surprise there were no cow items. Some cow postcards but no ceramic items. The guy that was working was super nice, friendly, and helpful. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area. read more

Contented cows surround Harmony, California! This little stop on the way up Highway One offers treats and works of art for the tourist. Up the hill is a tasting room, a new addition to the peaceful town, which used to be a dairy. We trekked to the pottery store to pick out some ceramics for our annual gift giving. This store offers beautiful pieces of ceramic art and is like visiting a year-round crafts fair. A broad selection of styles and consistently great craftsmanship create a relaxing atmosphere as you browse from one piece to another. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by several pieces, each more lovely than the next. Tiny pitchers, huge vases, and generous platters greeted me. Soap dishes, utensil holders, and mugs lined the walls, each radiating their own unique art. The colors and patterns warm up the store, and suggest many types of gifts for many types of people. It is a pleasant meditation just to visit and look at these works of art. Almost everyone that visited the store was purchasing something, and social distancing was a bit awkward. One good thing is that air circulation is great since the store is kind of open airish, and I always wear an extra layer when visiting. We lined up, paid up, and clutching our newspaper-wrapped treasures under our arms, made our way back up the coast. read more

I love this place, not for the pottery but for the jewelry. The pottery is nice and they do have some really great stuff. The jewelry, the Firefly jewelry is so beautiful. It's so unique and sparkly. The tiny crystals and colors are just so beautiful. The people who are there to help you are always friendly. Today we stopped in and Emily was there she was super nice and helpful. She didn't mind showing me the different pieces I wanted to see. Such a nice place to spend some time browsing. read more

I had been to Harmony before but never checked out the pottery studio. This place is huge! You enter just beyond the courtyard with the cow in the middle to greet you! When you first walk in you'll find all kinds of smalls. Lots of cute coffee mugs, big bowls, little bowls, rice bowls. All kinds of pottery items. Vases and so much more. From the first little area when you enter, there's a larger display room. I didn't venture in there, as I was traveling alone but with my doggie. I will definitely spend more time here the next time I'm in Harmony with the hubby. read more

Plate with attached small bowl (for items served with dip), they have a variety of sizes and colors. Asian rice bowl, complete with a pair of wooden chopsticks. It goes on and on. This is a great place to view pottery in a quiet and calm setting. The proprietor is casual and welcoming. Set your own pace and wander about at your leisure viewing whatever you choose. If you are visiting from out of town it is hard to make it out the door without making multiple items. You might even have to come back for more! Highly recommended!! read more

We've been visiting Harmony for years, and I usually stop in at Harmony Pottery and sit in their garden courtyard. A while back I purchased a pair of stoneware mugs with some vaguely Picasso-like cats on the sides. They make me smile whenever I use them. Unfortunately, one of them recently cracked (my fault), but I called to see if any were still available. Emily was able to identify a replacement, took my credit card number, and set aside the mug to await my next visit. Great, friendly service, even over the phone! read more

There is something about Harmony which makes me want to stop here every time we drive by. Maybe it is the peaceful, artistic courtyard, or maybe it is because I know there are great whimsical pottery items inside that you just do not see anywhere else. The sales person is laidback and carefully wraps up all your purchases. If you love dragonfly stuff as I do, this is your place. This visit we bought a pottery soap dish, and a darling sponge holder. This place is in a city off the beaten path and was the 1 of 2 things open in town that day. Before I found Harmony Pottery, I first ventured into the building near the front by the official town sign...I also got to see the loveliest butterfly on what looked like lavender. I'll post a pic of it soon when my phone decides to behave! I heard they were remodeling and I could basically walk through a place that seemed like someone's house/restaurant. Seemed weird but I finally saw other life and went to where they'd come from. I perused the walls and counters, pondered buying a spoon rest but decided it wasn't the best idea to travel with ceramics. Then I heard about the jewelry artists from the quiet but friendly cashier girlie. I asked her if she was one of the 18 who live in town. She said no, those are mostly just rancher/farmers. She lives in Morro Bay... so lucky! Anyhow, I checked out some earrings and finally decided on a lovely celtic design with some amber in the middle. Lovely. And very well priced for the quality. I enjoy the memory of this little place whenever I wear my Harmony earrings :) read more

What a place!! This is a beautiful shop with lots of variety of pottery and soaps, candles and jewelry. The town makes the best setting for this quaint little shop with lots of character! What a wonderful spacious beautiful selection of pottery pieces. Pieces of all types and this is a place to visit and explore as there is such a selection of so many types of items! I was very impressed with the craftsmanship and prices of the pieces at Harmony Pottery. I bought several bowls from their sale table, and a cheese plate. The glazes are rich and pottery is very well made. Even had crystalized glazes, which is not common. I will definitely be back! read more
