    I love these tiles.

Cambria is known for its artistic community and this pottery store comes through with some truly beautiful pieces. There are about 7 ceramicists who collaborate on the pieces in a workshop in Wisconsin. Their gallery is here in Cambria. I woud have loved to take a piece home, but I need to wait until I can truly afford and display an original piece of art. Definitely worth a browse.

Who knew the entire process collectively includes a potter, sculptor, and glazer to create these works of art?! Neat!

I'm not an artsy person. I don't know a Renoir from Rembrandt. But I do enjoy creative, beautiful objects. So when I was strolling down Main Street in the West Village of Cambria CA, I stopped to look into the window of Ephraim Pottery West Gallery. The pottery in the window was simply beautiful in an organic way. Not your run if the mill pottery.. these pieces were unique. Well, it caught my attention. So off I went to venture inside. The person working was wonderful. So easy to talk to and knowledgeable. The gallery showcases and sells pottery, wood, tile, lamps, paintings, and textiles from various artists. Pieces ranged from practical everyday use to show pieces in ranging styles. The arrangement was beautifully displayed. We settled on purchasing a mug. It had hues of gradient coloring. Beautiful and functional. Prices ranged from $30 and upwards depending on the piece. Drop on in. Check out their website, you can purchase items online as well. #EphraimPotteryWestInCambria

My wife fell in love with the artwork here during a visit to Cambria last year. We spent a long time looking over every piece and then came back the next day for some purchases. My wife bought a framed tile of the bridge in Big Sur, a dragonfly vase, and a table runner. Her birthday was a week ago and I was trying to figure out something unique to get her. In the mail came a catalog for Ephraim Pottery so I figured it was a sign. I got my wife a 3" tile of a dragonfly with wooden stand and a wood framed 8" x 4" tile of Moonstone Beach. I ordered via their website. Orders are made per order but I let them know about her birthday so they put a rush on it. Everything was wrapped up great so even if the box was jostled around during shipment it was break proof. Buying from the gallery or the website you're guaranteed to add some beautiful artwork to your house.

Beautiful work by a team of amazing potters. I wish I could've gotten some pieces to take home to Venice. Just gorgeous.

However, we gravitated towards the Disney room immediately! There were so many beautiful canvases and we fell in love with their collection of Wall-E and Eve. Staff were so friendly in assisting with any questions we had. On the walls, we noticed they offered layaway so we inquired about how that works. Shelly was very patient in explaining how we begin the process and how we'd receive the artwork, especially being from out of town. Although we weren't in the position financially to bring home all the Wall-E and Eve art we found, my husband did gift himself a Mulan figure as a birthday gift. We can't wait to visit Artifacts Gallery in the future again! :)

Wow... wow... wow! This place was brilliant from the moment…read morewe walked in. Every wall was designed and decorated so beautifully. The art that was put together shows the passion from the creators. There was a room filled with Disney paintings that even brought tears to my eyes... my kids were fascinated by it. I cannot forget the bird feeders that were on the wall (how creative this is and who the heck would think of doing this) My son is 9 and had the best time ever. The guy at the front desk had so much knowledge about all the things and was very patient with all of our questions... Also they are Dog Friendly so even Kevin our Schnauzer got to participate and see the dog pictures on the wall. The staff came out to greet him. It just melted my heart. Thank you for a great time and if you haven't gone here yet... please do!
