The mud stays continually hot, and becomes like a 'rubber' that peels off very easily, no mess! The massage itself was amazing. She is very trained and knows her stuff. I decided to start celebrating my Mother's day weekend and called to see if I could get a massage immediately. They were able to accommodate me and I got seen immediately. I walked in and checked out the prices. They were average among massage places. 60 for a hour, 80 for deep tissue and an extra 10 for hot stones. I got a regular massage with hot stones and Melinda helped me. She asked me about the pressure and constantly checked in to make sure everything was OK and feeling good. I have lower back pain and could immediately feel the pressure release. It was a great massage and I will definitely be back. Keep it mind I would of given it 5 stars of there was some type of aromatherapy. That was the only thing I was missing. read more

I am a first-time client. I just got a 60 minute deep tissue massage. The massage itself was fine. I felt very relaxed. However, the experience as a whole left a sour taste in my mouth. I wish I had timed the entire experience. I was done at 1:20. I could have sworn that my watch said 12:45 when I glanced at it right before the massage started. However, the masseuse insisted that we started at 12:20. I suppose that could make sense if she started counting the hour as soon as I got there, before the actual massage started. Lesson learned for clients: keep track of time when paying for a timed service. Also, as someone else mentioned, checkout was awkward. messeuse asked how much I wanted to tip on the $80 massage. I said $10. she insisted $20. I was not in the mood to argue with her, so I paid $20. For what it's worth: many of the positive reviews seem to be specific to Bobo. Bobo did not work today, Sunday. I did not catch the name of the masseuse who attended me. She was not a native English speaker and we struggled to communicate. read more

Perfect Day Spa is by far the best massage place I have found. BoBo is my favorite, however she is the only one I have used. She is from China and KNOWS the body's meridians very well. I have been going there for the past year and a half. Recently, I was introduced to the hot mud therapy. Wow! Unbelievable! It has Chinese herbs in it along with other healing agents. It is amazing! I was skeptical when I first heard about it, but gave in and decided to give it a try. I could actually feel the toxins leaving my body. I felt relaxed, light and refreshed when I left. The message itself was good. The guy went really close to my butt and side boobs, but I think they do anyway to get the lower back. I went in and said I had an appointment with a Mr. Feather at 7:15. They said ok and took my money for a half hour service $40. As he was messaging I knew it wasn't going to be long enough because I was so stiff, so I asked if I could do 60 min instead. It was fine with them, but my message therapist didn't speak english except for are you ok and yes/no, so he had to ask the lady in the front. I called them and left a message apologizing for not attending my appointment and explained what happened. This place is awesome! A friend and I went for a 60 minute body massage and we got our own room with privacy. We ended up chit chatting with each other for some of it and the masseuses were totally unbothered by it. They even joked around with us! I am a wimp when it comes to pressure during my massages and when I asked my masseuse for less pressure, she was so nice about it and adjusted. I'll start with saying that the massage was great, however when I called to schedule an appointment I was told a certain price for a 60 minute massage. When I was on the massage table starting to get the massage she asked if I wanted deep tissue, I said yes.. assuming it would be the same price. Like I said the massage was great, but when it came time to pay they told me another price. Then they showed me their prices on the wall, which I should of paid more attention to. That was fine and I realized there must of been some miscommunication with the language barrier as well.. but what bothered me is that when it came time to pay the masseuse was demanding a bigger tip. It was very uncomfortable and she wouldn't stop saying how hard she worked to give me such a good massage. However I was not told that the deep tissue costs $20 more than their "60 minute" massage. Either way I don't think it's professional to demand a bigger tip and make a customer feel extremely uncomfortable. read more
