I was ultimately advised to slow everything down, which is what I had suggested from the beginning. Psychiatry should not be a one-size-fits-all practice. Clear communication, careful pacing, and individualized care are essential, and that was missing here.

They even tried to charge her a late cancellation fee!!! So I get a bill for $100 on a piece of paper that looks like a 15 year old created an invoice on Word. Ridiculous. My daughter doesn't even remember seeing this doctor but what is a consumer supposed to do???? They threaten to send to a collection agency. Have no choice but to pay. Have no idea as to the quality of care since my daughter has no memory of the appointment. This doctor was apparently on-staff at UF where my daughter saw her. And when I finally got this doctor's license, she wasn't licensed for a year AFTER the appointment. What a scam.
