I'd like to start by saying we love the dentists at Harp Pediatric Dentistry. But the office management and their appointment system is terrible. I schedule appointments for my four kids. They give me a card to confirm the appointment time. We arrange our schedule around our appointment times. Then, when the confirmations text messages and calls come in they are for COMPLETELY different times. I have responded to these text messages and told the person calling that I would be there at my scheduled time. The text, apparently, doesn't go to anyone. And the call center employees enter that I have confirmed my time (the wrong time). When I call the office to tell them I will be there at my SCHEDULED time on my appointment card, they tell me they can not see me that day and I must reschedule. This has happened for over 9 appointments in a row. I have made the front desk staff aware. Nothing changes. I have complained. Nothing changes. I have asked to speak to managers, and there is never one available. This lack of respect for people's time and a complete dismissal of this even being an issue is awful. read more

Zero stars~This place is a joke, first of all, I discovered that this is no longer Harp Pediatric and Family it's actually owned by a company called Children and Teen Dental Group of Florida Harp Dental which was dissolved on February 3, 2023. This new ownership is deplorable and I highly suggest you read the reviews regardless of the location before you take your precious child here. I made an appointment as a new patient on February 23rd, 2023. The soonest they could get her in was April 5th, at 3:00. After driving clear across town in heavy traffic we arrived at 2:50 the receptionist tells us we are late, that her appointment was at 2:20, and that they close at 3:00 pm. I said no I have an email confirmation after making the appointment that specifically states the appointment date and time of 3:00 pm. She didn't seem concerned or apologetic and I just walked out after she asked me how I would like to proceed. I would also like to add that I filled out all the paperwork online portal with the link they provided with the appointment confirmation. I also took note of the email that is still using Harp Dental for some reason. After reading the horror stories from other parents I'm grateful my daughter wasn't seen, after reading all the negative reviews such as not sanitizing their equipment, 2-3 hour wait times, you can't go back with your child, and uncleanliness, packed waiting room, and they seem to function like a factory assembly line and also parents complaining that the lie about you having cavities when you don't I did send an email requesting a manager to get back to me with proof of the appointment time, but no one got back to me so I contacted their other location in Palm Harbor and spoke with Jenny, she said the location recently changed their hours, but yet no one even called me to reschedule our appointment, what a joke. So I asked her to have the manager at this location call me and she said there is no manager at that location which pretty much explains it all. Then I got "fired" by the office manager for coming in to my appointment. At the time I was busy taking care of my parents so missed a text but did sign the paperwork virtually prior to coming and showed up on time for my appointment with no history of no-shows. I was told I didn't respond to the text message so they gave my appointment to someone else. They rescheduled me for Friday but had to cancel on me as the tech called out sick. They would text me about appointment times but by the time I text back after checking my schedule a couple hours later the appointment was already booked. I called to see if I could make a time work with my new work schedule and expressed (not yelled or was rude) my frustration over being in the office for my appointment and not being seen and having difficulty rescheduling. The office manager said "I'm not going over this with you again I'll email you your files and you can go some where else" I never received my records, an apology, an easy reschedule. I've never not paid or no-showed an appointment. And I truly love my dentist after having some anxiety finding one after a bad experience with oral surgery a few years ago. Now this is one of the best places that accepts my insurance and I'm unsure where to go for care & cosmetics. If you do schedule here make sure you text back 100% of the time asap & avoid the office manager.
