SCAM False advertising Bait and Switch They get you in there with a promise of x-rays, exam and cleaning for $99. Then refuse to do the cleaning claiming a four quadrant deep clean is needed and a regular cleaning would not help at all. The person who did the x-rays and "exam" left to speak to the dentist and another person came in, he did not introduce himself and started with a whole spiel about I have gum disease and needed a deep cleaning and they would not do the regular cleaning and I finally asked him "are you the dentist" and he said no he's not the dentist, so I guess he was the hard sale, closer person. BYE! I followed up the next week at a reputable dentist, and there was no mention of gum, disease or deep cleaning needed. read more

If any of my friends on facebook currently seek dental work at dental arts; specifically the Seminole boulevard one, I would encourage you to seek treatment elsewhere. My experience with them has been more than traumatizing. About 3 years ago I spend 12k+ on making my teeth better. I received braces and a root canal, about 4 days ago that same crown I had fell out, no big deal right I will just get it put back in. I made a appointment they charged me 200 $ to replace the same crown they put in only 3 years prior which I have heard by many most of their dentist would have just re-cemented it since it was done the same place but whatever. They convinced me to get a full exam so I did, I received a full mouth of X-rays that they thought was important to bring up other teeth with problems to charge me thousands for and talked to me like they were a car salesmen. However, never said anything about the tooth that I was having my crown being put back on. The very next day I woke up with my whole face swollen and severe pain, I make a appointment and they tell me I have a abscess in the same tooth that I got the crown put back on. Don't you think that if I had a infection on the apex as they say a doctor would tell you before putting a crown back on, there response was we were looking for decay and there wasn't any, the infection is in the apex. ***the apex is imaged in X-rays. Their story is shady they are being shady and the genuinely just don't care about the patients. Needless to say now I have to seek surgery for something I think could have been avoided. read more

SCAM! I received this post card in the mail, Paid the $99 advertised fee for "examination, x-rays, cleaning". I went for the visit, they took x-rays and said they would not do a basic clean and that I had to pay a totally inflated fee for deep cleaning. They do not honor this post card. False advertising to get you in their office. I had to again pay another reputable dentist office Boulevard Dental for new Xtrays (it was already included and all dentist want their own x-rays). They did a deep cleaning for 1/4 of the price that Dental Arts tried to scam me out of. They literly got me into their office, took my money and refused to do even a basic clean! read more

So sleazy! They lied to me saying they took my insurance, they did cosmetic work on me, and charged my co pay, and what my insurance doesn't cover. 6 months later they tell me without warning that my insurance does not cover anything from their office. I never received any notification of this, and they caught me off guard since they told me they take my insurance from the start. I got my procedure done a few days after my initial visit so they knew they didn't take my insurance and continued to lie. I told them what they are doing is ethical, the new office manager told me I need to read the fine print, and prices, and taking my insurance is subject to change. They are sleazy scum bags don't trust them first call your insurance to verify if they take it because they will lie, and they will not care that they lie. read more

I would give a zero if I could. the Dr does good work but Their financial practices are sleazy. charged my wife over $8000 up front for a bunch of work but then came back and wanted another $3000 to finish the work and called it phase 2. my wife then paid up front for that work as well and before the work got started decided against phase 2. they agreed to give a refund and made her sign paperwork saying that she would not sue them and did not provide her with a copy. they said it would be 2-4 weeks and after a month it was not refunded and they came back and argued that they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks. It has been seven weeks and still no refund. Shame on them. read more

I went to Dental Arts of Seminole in October of 2021 because of some health issues I was having. They recommended that I have most of my teeth pulled and to get fitted for dentures. When I received my dentures 5 months after having my teeth pulled (was told up front it would be 3, but...) they lasted less than 4 months. They repaired them, and they cracked ion the exact same place 3 months after the repair. Their response was to ask for another $1000 to make me a special upper denture and THEN they would fix the broken ones for free. More money to do the job I had already paid for. Keep in mind I paid $10,000 IN ADVANCE, and now they say they will return my calls and ghost me. They still send me texts asking when I will make my next cleaning appointment every few weeks, but the last time anyone from their actual facility talked to me was over 3 weeks ago and that person, Veronica, assured me she would call back in a few days after speaking to their corporate offices. I never received that call. They took my money and did not honor any kind of warranty on my dentures. Never spoke to their so called "corporate offices". Never even talked to either dentist. I did not call and hassle them every day, I expected them to honor their word. Now I went through all of that pain of extracting most of my teeth under LOCAL ANESTHESIA, and am stuck with broken dentures I am repairing MYSELF every few weeks until I can save up the money to get a REAL dentist to solve my problems. I am paying off a #10,000 loan to boot for daily mouth pain. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! They care about one thing. YOUR MONEY!!! read more

Everyone is incredibly friendly, from the front desk to the hygienist and the doctor, they all take time to explain why a procedure is being done and make sure you're comfortable while they're doing it. Really nice people! I was in from out of town and got a cracked tooth. They took care of me, did X-rays and an exam, gave me some certainty that it would be okay until I got home. I left feeling relieved that it wasn't an emergency and they didn't charge me at all for the X-rays or visit. Would recommend them to anyone! read more

Worst Dental office I ever experienced! Upselling factory! Don't use the $99 mailing coupon (I should know better...any reputable business doesn't use mail flyers---reminds me of the ambulance chasing lawyers you see on the morning news ads), because they will get you in other ways. I walked out after the initial cleaning and x-rays with a bill $649 for a mouth guard. Next: You have to be on the periodontal plan, which is $58/month or $649/year. Not knowing what was going to happen to my rental agreement, I opted to save $50 with annual. Then my arrangement went bye bye on the beach condo, so looked around the state for more affordable options. After signing up on June 29, 2022 for the one year plan and not fully utilizing any of the services, except 2 cleanings, I requested a credit back to my credit card for $649 - (6 months * $58/month) = $300. After multiple conversations with Veronica on Dec. 5,16,20, she promised me a $300 credit on all of these dates and no action taken. By December 28, I had my final cleaning and talked to her prior to the cleaning and was ABSOLUTELY livid talking to her in person, because she out right lied and was trying to spin everything. Then she got on the phone "supposedly" with her manager and they agreed to refund me the $300, although it "isn't their normal policy"...huh? There was nothing in writing, that said it was "non-refundable"? Lies, lies, lies and more lies! I moved to the Atlantic side, but still on the Nextdoor around Seminole. If I don't see the credit in the next week on my credit card statement...Nextdoor is next!
