The customer service was TOP NOTCH and I would definitely use them if I lived in the area. They cared for me like a family member and made sure I could make my drive home the next day. You can go about 80 miles as long as you go under 50 so I proceeded along the highway and got off at the next exit, I used Waze to find the place and pull in there went in to talk to the young lady running the place. Her name was Carrie Ratz this young lady took great care of me. She said she would get me a tire which she would have by the next morning, and I suggested that she get me a cab to take me to enterprise where I would Rent-A-Car and continue my journey and on my way back the next day, I would pick up my car she made this out. She got the cab for me, Uber was useless arranged enterprise I couldn't get hold of them on my cell phone but she did on the landline and she had the car ready for me. On my way back the next day. They were called and plugged the tire and made a repair in very good time. The cost was $60 which I paid for in cash. However, I asked Ron IF I could return to the garage AFTER the boat tour and provide my credit card, get my cash returned, and receive a receipt. I was told that would be okay as I hustled off to the boat dock to catch the tour. Made it in time and was very pleased with the transaction made - Ron and Ryan did a superb job of coming to the parking lot and fixing my flat. However, upon the completion of the boat tour and locating Platt's Garage, we waited an inordinate amount of time in the office for anyone to arrive. Finally, a gentleman? from the back came whose name I believe was Marty. Saying that he was rude would be extremely kind. At first he refused to even consider exchanging the cash for the credit card. After a heated discussion, he informed me that he would do so ONLY after finishing his current job. He would finish that in "a couple of hours". My wife and I were on our way home to Chicago and could ill afford to wait that amount of time. There was no sign of either Ron or Ryan at the garage. I left the garage without my cash and without a receipt. The receipt would have been used to seek reimbursement from my car dealership. The bottom line is that the service provided to my vehicle was exemplary; the customer service was non-existent. Don't waste your time.

I legged my truck in with a flat front left tire, just needed them to take the tire off…read moreof the rim and put one back on that i already had sitting in my truck bed. first, they had to talk to their manager to see if they could even take my truck in because i have to start and stop the truck in a slightly strange way. conveniently, theyre manager had just gone to lunch, so we were waiting in the waiting room for atleast 20 minutes, before one of the techs come in and ask me to come out to show me that they cant put on the tire i provided because it had a very very minor small little amount of dry rot in between a few of the treads that you cant see unless you are a foot away or closer to the tire. he said his management would not let him put that tire on, conveniently the same management that was still on lunch. i was left stranded. i was reccomended to buy a can of fixaflat, which did not work. They also conveniently didnt have my tire size and reccomended i go to Fleet Farm to get one. They threw air in my tire and i made it maybe 5 minutes down the road before it went flat again. i had to call my parents to bring another wheel from home which is still 45 minutes away, sitting in lyndon station on a back road in the hot heat and mosquitos with my pregnant wife waiting for a save because the lazy tire tech named i believe Chris, short little wide eyed fella, said his management (that didnt seem to exist) wouldnt let him do any of the work. Please do not ever give these people your time or money. They will screw you over and avoid work in any way they can.

A truck just happened to drive by as we were trying to fix it and figure out what we were going to do. The recommended John at Outback Auto, and am I thankful they did. We were able to talk to John, even though it was Sunday, and then 1st thing Monday morning, after he was able to get the parts we needed, he fixed everything right away. In less than an hour, our van was fixed and we were on the road to finish our vacation!!!! I highly recommend John at outback auto, not only did he do great work, and fast, it was also at a good price!! John, thank you so much, you are our life saver;-)
