I visited Harpeth Hair (as LW Boutique Salon) from approximately March to November last year. I worked with a young stylist and gave her multiple opportunities to get my hair, right, but unfortunately it ended with a terrible experience that left my long, healthy hair severely damaged. After giving it a month, I left a review reflecting my experience. Several weeks later, the new owners (who purchased the salon last December) reached out to try to make things right. I went in last weekend to meet with the manager, Ariann. We had a thorough consultation, and I allowed her to work on my hair. Unfortunately, the previous damage was too severe to fully repair, but Ariann spent considerable time explaining my options and the condition of my hair. She also validated my previous experience, which I truly appreciate. We settled on mini highlights to brighten the hair around my face, along with a significant cut. Now I can focus on deep conditioning treatments while waiting for my healthy hair to grow back. I'm very impressed that the new owners reached out to correct work done by a stylist no longer with the salon. Ariann spent extensive time with me, and they didn't charge me for the service--which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. I'm also impressed by the beautiful remodel they're doing. I highly recommend this salon. I was treated exceptionally well by the new owners, and Ariann is clearly very knowledgeable and skilled in hair design. I received a keratin treatment and it's the best My hair has ever looked and felt. I went to the beach after the treatment and my hair was straight for an entire week even with rain and humidity. She tells me 1.5 weeks before my trial and less than 2 months before my wedding, that she can't make the hair trial for me and my mom who is in town bc she took a new job. Extremely unprofessional, inconsiderate and unreliable , considering this was a commitment prior to the new job. I booked Leslie Davis for a bridal party of 12, including various braids and updo's. When I first went to LW Boutique Salon for my bridal trial, I found it to be very clean and also very well put together. Leslie was FAST. She had no problems inserting my clip-in extensions to add additional volume, and managed the exact updo style I was looking for like a pro. For the day-of, Leslie brought Ariel Newsom (also at this salon) along with her to assist in the many heads of hair that needed to be done. Both Leslie and Ariel worked quickly, and everyone loved the outcome. We received compliments all day on the bridal party hair. I highly recommend this dynamic duo. I don't even know where to begin!! I hadn't gotten my hair cut by anyone but my sister since I was a child. I am now 32 and my sister has moved and I hadn't got my hair cut in over 3 years!! My hair was long but I damaged it bleaching it. I was so nervous going in, thinking anything could go wrong! Lol. I know it is just hair but you never know what someone has went through, failed and achieved with it! And as women we all know how important our hair can be!
