Top 2 metro courses in Nashville. Arguably number 1 however; traffic is an issue in the Brentwood area and there's about 5 miles of two lane highway with multiple stop lights. All that aside, play here if you can! 5 stars read more

Harpeth Hills Golf - Par 5 Hole 16 Teebox - Golf Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

A fun golf course with pretty open fairways for the most part. The greens were extremely fast when we played in early september but being a dry time of year, that can be expected. I was able to adapt to the fast greens after the front nine. Carts were gas powered. Only one 150yd marker in fairways with 100 and 200 yd markers being spray paint on the cart path. If you are familiar with your clubs and can estimate distance to pin well then this is not a big deal. Not too much elevation in the terrain but almost all greens slope back to front. Long par 3s can make it hard to pick up strokes. Definitely recommend if visiting the area to give this course a try. read more

Underrated! Very affordable for this level facility. Played 18 today. Staff inside was very accommodating with setting up last minute tee times and explaining course conditions. Starter staff was very helpful and on their game with getting folks started on time. Weather was perfect. Greens we're fast and rough was trimmed very "forgivingly". Thank you! Lots of wide lanes to hit and gain confidence for the narrow ones. Relieved there weren't a lot of water hazards (like I'm used to in Florida). Lots of elevated T-boxes and elevation changes on the course. Greens were well maintained with no signs of bare spots. Most putting greens required a fair level of skill to keep the chip up on top and not roll off. We enjoyed the challenge. This course has a ton of fall foliage right now and is picture perfect! Also, there were several deer and turkey along the sidelines, all very tame. I'll definitely be returning next fall for another round. read more

The course itself is in pretty solid condition. Very fun with some challenging (but not too bad) hole layouts. However, they do not have the friendliest of service. This is just from my few experiences, but it seems like the people that work there are somewhat rude and are short with you. They could definitely improve their customer service. read more

Metro Nashville operated course. Take tee times 7 days ahead for weekend play. Can be hard to get your preferred time on a weekend unless you call 7 days prior for play next weekend. Considered to be the best of Metro's several golf courses. Located in southern portion of county, among the hills of the Harpeth River watershed. Bermuda fairways. And as of September, 2017, Tif Eagle bermuda greens. Tough par threes. Good mix of par fours. Outward sloping fairways on several doglegs make tee shot placement more difficult than at first sight (4, 9, 10, 16). Back tees about 6900 but plays a little shorter because of several elevated tees. Adjacent to Percy Warner Park. Beautiful surroundings and great views from several points on course. Comfortable, simple clubhouse with fairly good food and pretty good staff. Play goes pretty fast most all time. read more

Decent course considering it's owned by the city and intertwined between 5-figure initiation country clubs in this area of Nashville. greens fee and cart will run $42 on weekend. didn't drink, but I'm pretty sure you could put a small cooler in the back, as i saw no signs that specifically prohibited. plus there was no marshall, ranger, or drink girl. course is incredibly simple (altho I sucked it up, of course). Quite a few sandtraps, but very few water hazards. Open layout and large greens. I didn't mind paying what i did for a Saturday morning. Fairways and greens were in good condition. Several tee boxes should have been moved to different location or on more even ground. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. If I could give negatives, I would. My friends and I are beginners. Meaning we were taking our time and enjoining it. We were playing 9 holes, and on the 7th hole, the management drove up to us, and told us to give the carts back. Our group was never aware of a certain time to bring the carts back, nor what time we, ourselves, were supposed to be back. I was upset because we paid for 9 holes and weren't able to get that. After arguing, I was told they could just take the carts and kick us out. As well as making smirky comments during it. We wanted to have a good time and let people play through if we were holding them up. Apparently, letting people play through is not proper golf etiquette. When I told them I would leave a bad review because the treatment was ridiculous, the manager said "I hope you do, we have too many people trying to play as it is." So I hope everyone sees this review. There's so many other awesome courses around Franklin/Brentwood/Nashville that appreciate their players business etc. DO NOT PLAY HERE!!!!! read more

Went to the golf course with a buddy who is not a skilled golfer and is insecure about hitting in front of skilled players. We were asked by an older man in a bucket hat who keeps the carts if we mind going in a 4 some with some very good golfers with later tee times than us. I told him that we would rather not. He then got out of his cart, walked over to ours and all but got in my face and said "well you are gunna have to. Either you listen to me or you can GO HOME! " it's a shame because it's a nice golf course but that man ruined our round. If management reads this I wold love to talk to you. No golfers should be treated like this. read more

Love the course, but the people in the clubhouse seem like they hate their jobs and don't want you to play there.

One of the better public courses in the Middle Tennessee area. Really makes every golfer think about his, or hers next shot. Don't forget to stop in the club house when you turn to the back - excellent burgers and beers. Fantastic scenery in just a short drive from Franklin, Brentwood, and Nashville. read more

Great Public course for the price. Greens were in great condition. Play was fast for the first 9 holes. A little slow on the back 9, but about 4:15 hours. Driving range, putting green, pro shop, and parking all convenient and clean. read more
