Format has varied as well - aside from addressing my issues with iron play on the range, we also took to the Course and walked through my short game. Videos of our sessions were also helpful. Props to him for not only measuring me up but also for even bringing this to my attention. Whether they could help me determine if I should play lefty or righty (I'm ambidextrous) 3. Whether my partner and I could take lessons around the same time I was told 1) yes 2) yes and 3) yes, but back-to-back. Which gave me confidence to book. Before the lesson, I completed the online questionnaire and spoke directly with the instructor, Rocco, clearly stating that my main goal was to figure out my handedness. I was assured this would be addressed. During the lesson, however, I was only given a left-handed club and never had the opportunity to try a right-handed swing. Even when I asked if I should switch, I was told we would continue with left-handed only. Since determining my handedness was the primary reason I booked, as well as something I confirmed multiple times, this was extremely frustrating. Additionally, a significant portion of the session focused on discussing long-term lesson packages, which made it feel more like a sales pitch than a $95 instructional session. After the lesson, my partners instructor asked me if I decided on left or right, and I replied that my instructor only gave me the chance to swing left. The other instructor seemed surprised. My partner did pick up a few helpful tips during their lesson, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, we both felt some pressure to sign up for additional packages, and I ultimately did not receive the specific guidance I came in for. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location for beginners looking for personalized instruction or help getting started.

I booked a tee time online, checked in with a front desk employee who was kind and helpful, and explained their process of getting around. Nice senior rate, with certain lunch items and a beer/drink included in the fee. Starter Richard...what a gem. Pure sunshine! Happy, helpful, glad you're there, and genuinely wanted us to have a fun round! We were paired with two locals as playing partners. We were thankful for their guidance around the course and at the turn when we decided to grab our meal. Never missed a beat - this process was smooth! The course was in great shape. Greens rolled fast and fairways were wide. A bit tricky to find your ball if in the rough though! Really enjoyed the course, the lively atmosphere, and look forward to playing it again one day.

Given the cold weather, rains the few days before, and the business, I expected a slow day on a beat-up course. But I couldn't have been more pleased with the condition of the course and the perks. While $120 is higher than I'd like to pay for public golf, when you throw in a beer, burger, and chips, range balls, putting green access, and get us around in under 4 hours on a holiday weekend, I'm thrilled. Given the time of year, the course was in great condition, especially the greens. Challenging and rolling fast, but true. The layout was great and provided a challenge for the better golfers in our group but kept our less experienced golfers entertained as well. Will 100% play here again next time I'm back in the Franklin area.
