It was our first time coming to this venue, but the group we were seeing chose an area further north than where we live. They were worth the trip though. The overall vibe was quite "senior" from the workers to the other patrons. It was interesting. Very low energy. We really liked our seats outside of the handrail in our view. A recommendation would be to replace that with clear plexiglass to not obstruct the view. There were no areas selling any beverages or food anywhere but the main concession area which was extremely warm and completely on the opposite side of our seats. The service although friendly moved very slowly in all the lines. There was no efficiency throughout the entire evening from getting in to leaving. The concert itself was great. It would have to be someone really amazing to get us to come back.

We came to the 2023 Tattoo Convention here. They charged for parking this year, which was $9 per day. This year was a bit better not having to pay through the box office. The concessions were decent. We're able to get drinks and food there and the food was ready pretty quickly. Bathrooms were decent, but started running out of toilet paper by the end of the day, So they really need to have someone checking.

Only one bear is here tonight.

It was a great venue and a great show. They could probably use a little remodeling and the concessions staff could move a bit faster. But otherwise, it was easy in, easy out and pretty conveniently located. I had a great time.

I've been to Harrah's Cherokee Center probably 50 times and have seen many great concerts here as well as been to art fairs, food festivals, and crossfit competitions at this venue. All of my experiences have been great. I have so many fond memories that have taken place here. Yes, this is a large venue that has overpriced beer and mediocre food, but it is what it is. That being said, they serve local craft beers and they have a food vendor upstairs that is a local restaurant (I think it's Twisted Laurel?) and serves some awesome food items. They also have impossible burgers! That's a nice option since it's often hard for vegetarians to find something yummy at places like this. The positives of this place outweigh the negatives in my mind. Great concerts. Check their website calendar, so many awesome acts come through here all of the time.

Saw Magical! Nutcracker Christmas Ballet here on 11/20. Performers, costumes and backdrops were from around the world; were absolutely the most gorgeous I have seen. Did a VIP meet and greet with one of the performers before the show, received a free nutcracker ornament and 30th Anniversary book. Was the best Nutcracker performance I have ever seen as well as the costumes that were made. Even had local children in the performance!

Great venue for a concert. We saw Zach Bryan and the show was amazing. We sat in section 224. It was a higher seat but still a very good view. I would have a hard time imagining there is a bad seat in the house. It did take a while to get in the building due to security checks and the line was wrapped around the building. Like any event concessions were e expensive but there were plenty of options for food and drinks.

Dated yes, hard to park at big events yes, bad seat in the house? Nope. High quality events and shows, Yep. Have I ever had a problem here with staff or the venue, no sir. Look, does Asheville need a nicer newer event center, probably. But guess where that will be built? Not downtown! And then it will be even more traffic and parking. But honestly when the show is going on, the venue doesn't matter. The only time you notice is when your up walking around. We go to events for the event - not the venue. And for that fact I give it 5 stars and take one off for it just being dated. See you soon civic center!

Peeling paint, antique seating, cracked ceiling. This place is a dump.

Gymnastic competition was held at Harrah's Cherokee Center. I love going to the Gala. It's our favorite competition.

A pleasant venue for a concert with fairly good acoustics. The building, however, is looking a little "tired" not surprising given its age.

Your wifi is a joke. Sent from my AT&T phone while a web page is taking 5 minutes to load. Pathetic.

It was definitely hot and humid, but that didn't stop my wife and me from having an absolute blast at this historic ballpark where so many legends have played over the years. The atmosphere was fantastic -- the people around us were genuinely friendly, chatty, and made us feel right at home. Everyone was there to enjoy the game and the vibe was perfect. The only real complaint (and the ballpark has zero control over this) was the lack of parking, which forced us to do a half-mile walk in the heat. Not ideal, but totally manageable. We grabbed a Philly cheesesteak and a couple of cold beers, and let me tell you -- that combo completely made up for the trek. The food hit the spot and the beers were ice cold. Highly recommend catching a game here if you're in Asheville. Great history, great fans, and solid ballpark eats. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town! Would visit again: Yes!

It was your typical run of the mill minor league baseball team and stadium. They had a very nice selection of drinks and food. I ordered an apple pie alcoholic seltzer and I think it's the best seltzer I've ever had. I wish I could recall the brand and order more! We got 2nd row seats behind home plate for around $15 which was awesome. They have the option to order food right to your seat which is nice if you don't want to miss any of the game - although it is minor league ball so you're not missing too much. I've been to so many baseball games growing up with my dad that I am pretty used to seeing them so there was not too much special with this one in particular. It is a relaxing way to end an evening if you're here on vacation as a "tourist" yourself!

On the way to our hotel, we stopped at the Greenville Drive stadium called Fluor Field since most teams have their stores open from 10 AM to 4 or 5 PM. I noticed a lot of merchandise, and the store is tight. If you turn around, you'll bump into a rack or stand. I can't imagine visiting during game day. Holy Toledo! Next, I saw the difference between online and store prices as we viewed several items. The sale items in their store needed to reflect what was listed online, and yes, every team that we've visited, they've matched from the Wisconsin teams to the MiLB teams in Florida. Second, the wife asked if she could get a view of their "green monster," which is the left field wall at Fluor Field. It is similar to the original at Fenway Park. She asked, "Is there a way to see the green monster, the left field wall?" The storekeeper replied, "I don't think I have that in my power." Meanwhile, two other employees were in the side office chatting away. Oh well, the wife asked. If you want to get it out and explore Greenville, they might have something of interest. As for us, we left with nothing.
