On the way to our hotel, we stopped at the Greenville Drive stadium called Fluor Field since most teams have their stores open from 10 AM to 4 or 5 PM. I noticed a lot of merchandise, and the store is tight. If you turn around, you'll bump into a rack or stand. I can't imagine visiting during game day. Holy Toledo! Next, I saw the difference between online and store prices as we viewed several items. The sale items in their store needed to reflect what was listed online, and yes, every team that we've visited, they've matched from the Wisconsin teams to the MiLB teams in Florida. Second, the wife asked if she could get a view of their "green monster," which is the left field wall at Fluor Field. It is similar to the original at Fenway Park. She asked, "Is there a way to see the green monster, the left field wall?" The storekeeper replied, "I don't think I have that in my power." Meanwhile, two other employees were in the side office chatting away. Oh well, the wife asked. If you want to get it out and explore Greenville, they might have something of interest. As for us, we left with nothing.

Entry into the stadium was easy to navigate and efficient. The people, both staff and fans, were all pleasant to interact with. Two things I would improve: The speakers were too loud. While the announcer was funny and entertaining, multiple people were talking about how loud it was. Some even moved from their seats to get some relief. The food is subpar. While the checkout procedure is modern and accommodating for the number of people being served, the quality is very poor. I highly recommend eating beforehand. I had a hamburger, fries, and a soft pretzel. The beef was worse than I've had in the military and the soft pretzel was overcooked so it wasn't really soft. My coworker had some deep fried item that looked like a heart attack waiting to happen.

We went in at 6 when they opened the doors and sat as the manager or whoever told us we could not ask for autographs on anything. Major disappointment as the meet and greet said autographs (screenshot of Google results attached - the page is already gone since the event is over). Oh well, we were all in the same boat right? WRONG! A bunch of people arrived late. They missed the part where we were told we couldn't ask for autographs and they all got them! We all followed instructions and arrived early and then followed instructions and didn't ask for autographs while the late people got them. The employees were all great and they tried to help when we found out the late people were getting autographs but the people in charge who took the pictures and told us not to ask? Sorry, but that's just wrong. The website said we would get autographs included and then only the late people got them. This was a birthday gift for my wife. We bought photo mattes to get signed and a shirt. I spent a lot of extra money for photos AND autographs and didn't get what I paid for.
