I did not even make it through the front door before the man (I'm assuming his name is Paul from reading other bad reviews) opened the door, blocked the entryway with his foot while looking down at his phone and says "what do you want?". All I got out of my mouth was "I wanted to come loo-" and he cuts me off "this isn't a women's clothing store, bye." then he slams the door in my face. He didn't even look up at me once. I was looking for a gift for my boyfriend if he would have given me a chance to speak. First, anybody who plans on going here, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER GIVING THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY! Just from other reviews and my own experience, Paul seems to have anger issues and you don't know when people like that will fly off the handle. So for safety reasons I would AVOID. Second, I read the owners are a husband and wife. If Paul is the owner I have nothing to say but try anger management or therapy. If Paul is not the owner, I highly recommend they fire him or work on his customer service skills asap. Nobody who is childish and can't control their emotions because they're "having a bad day" or "because it's their shop" shouldn't be working with customers.

She tells me that some guy? the owner? is helping another customer and will be with us soon. We go around the small showroom looking at items that are displayed. Beautiful items but not really what we were seeking. When we entered there was one other man sitting on the chair waiting. After 10 minutes of waiting, I walk back to the bride next door to make sure she wasn't looking for us and was aware that we were next door. I walk back and almost immediately, the man on the couch and another man leave. I'm assuming they were doing a fitting? The man/owner chats with the woman but neither one approach us. We wait another 10 minutes (based on timestamps on pics taken of the bride.) The young kid with me is sitting near the display cases growing more bothersome about the wait. (How many 9 year olds really want to spend a Saturday afternoon trying on formal/semi-formal wear? Still they never approach us. I go back to the woman and ask will the wait be much longer. This is when she asks me if the groom is purchasing a suit? When I say no she says that she is unable to help me?? They tells me they won't have suits ordered in time for the young boy? Trying to find a nice shirt and noticed that most items here at the outlet were 50% - 70% off. Everything was stacked or hung nicely and the store was clean. Unfortunately for me, I require a 2x size shirt and not much in supply here, but pleased that there was a decent inventory of men's shirts and a huge wall of ladies' garments. The shirts I found were tagged for over $300.00 then 70% off. So not much of outlet pricing although great fabric quality.

My…read morefriend and I was out shopping for a birthday outfit in the Broward mall Mother's Day weekend, when we came across this store. While my friend was trying on stuff I decided to browse. Some of the items are OK while some looked very cheaply made (legit China bulk items) and overpriced. Nonetheless, I took a chance because I was SUPPORTING A SMALL BUSINESS! I tried on a few peices myself, spent close to $300 after receiving a 10% discount. A week later I decided to wear one of the peices. The first tights threads came loose, I sewed. Second piece, thread came loose again! I decided that I shouldn't be sewing BRAND NEW clothes! Especially if I was not squeezing to get in them! My friend said she had the same issue with hers too! So I decided to return/exchange the piece I didn't feel like sewing. Upon entering the store and explaining the above to the manager/owner she pointed to the receipt that there's NO REFUND NOR EXCHANGE and suggested I should go home and sew the item, lol . (Mind you there's more peices at home that I haven't worn yet!), I thanked her for her time/experience, because she was on her defense and seemed rude and I'm not one for public attention, so I left. My husband needed a tuxedo for my daughter's wedding and we were referred to The Black Tux. The…read morewedding was in Atlanta; but The Black Tux is conveniently located in many Nordstrom stores so we were able to go to the Aventura location to get measured. We made an appointment online and went to the store on a Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. They took my husband's measurements and went over a few optional add-ons. (Button covers, cuff links, suspenders, etc.). It was a pretty easy experience and they have chairs for waiting and a full fitting room allocated just for formal wear customers. The cost of the tuxedo rental was about $250 with all the accessories included. The tuxedo arrived at our home about 10 days before the event date. I had my husband try it on right away to make sure it fit and was as expected. The tux fit great and was ready to wear....almost no wrinkles. After the event it was easy to return in the original box. (And we had about a week after the event before it had to be returned, so no rushing around.) I would definitely recommend using The Black Tux for a tuxedo rental for a formal event. The process was easy, with 0 surprises!
