I've been a longtime customer and recently took my gas mower there for annual servicing - in particular, trouble starting. Picked it up and brought it home where I discovered, along with two other people, that the engine was still too hard to start. There was also a leak in gas tank, so I brought it back for a new fuel tank and attention to the starting problem again. Paul said it would be ready the following week. I waited nearly 2 weeks and called when I heard nothing. This time he said it would be ready in a day or so. After a few days, I tried calling for two days and got an answering machine which offered no way to leave a message. Finally, on the third day of trying to reach them, Paul picked up and said they were waiting for a new fuel tank. Paul said he'd call the manufacturer to see when to expect delivery of the new fuel tank and then call me right back. He didn't call back, so I decided not to fool with them anymore and retrieved the mower to take elsewhere. They are unreliable: weren't thorough in their initial servicing, do not follow through on their promises, were unapologetic, and blame their unreliability on being "busy with customers." If that's so and they can't attend properly to their old customers, perhaps they have too many customers. As an added offense, they display a tired old, stupid sexist sign in their shop to the effect that if a man is in a forest with no women around to hear him, is he still wrong? It's 2018. Time to come out of the cave and wise up. read more
