When I made the appt with ATSI I…read moresuspected that the problem I was having may have been the result of work previously done by Dream Nissan which took me 3 visits to resolve and then when I arrive for my scheduled appt with ATSI (now Nightmare Nissan) they do not show that I have a scheduled appt. So I have now driven over 5 miles each way (total 10 + miles) only to have a guy call me to say "oops, our fault, you did have an appointment)". Really unimpressed and will never patronize again and will urge others to look elsewhere when needing service for their vehicles.

Ended up being told my passanger rear brake caliper rotor needed replaced. I had a throw out bearing going out in my clutch and my cv joints needed replaced. After the repairs I had a brake still sticking. I took my car in 5 times and each time was told they couldnt find anything. They couldnt get the brake to stick. Fast forward a couple of weeks after the last time i sent it i was heading to work and my whole brake system locked up. Drove it to the nearest mechanic and they said my whole driver rear caliper brake rotor had seized up. Anothe 750 dollar repair... brakes are still sticking. Finally found a real honest compatrnt mechanic who looked over all the work and discovered my brake pad had been out on incorrectly. Causing all the repairs to the brake rotor and caplier to be not fixed and ruined yet again. The new mechanic told me due to my car being a manual a transmission flush was not something i could have done for my car... the amount of time they charged was incorrect and on too of all that when he went to check on the work done my transmission fluid level was low. He said when you replace xv joints sometimes the transmission fluid will leak out. Literally everything this mechanic at ATSI touched was performed wrong, mis diagnosed and clearly not looked at properly because all issues could have been fixed if they were just looked at in the first place. So i desputed the bill and wong the dispute. The manager Gabbie was not happy about that and reached out saying she would be fighting it and all forms of communication would need to be done thru the company from here on out. Yet she reached out to a mutual family member to bash the fact i disputed the shotty work (at best) and involved outside people in our business transaction. Bottom line this company was incompetant to do the job, cost me 6 weeks of being out of work due to their failure to diagnose, fix properly the things needed on the car, and then when telling them something isnt right FIVE MORE TIMES still failed to do their job. It was a nightmare that took 6 months to be resolved and it also cost me a new transmission that i have not yet decided to sue for compensation. And the level of professionalism was at an all time low. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR EVEN AN OIL CHANGE seeing as a simple brake job they couldnt even out the brake pad on properly. If you do use them oay with credit so you can dispute the crappy service you receive. Save yourself the trouble though and go somewhere that knows how to properly diagnose and fix the correct problems the first or even SECOND time. 5 times and 2 mechanics and 6 months after the initial visit i finally got my car fixed and fixed correctly.

Maybe third times a charm. Since they mentioned my yelp review on my Google review, let me repost…read moreit again. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE: The only thing this shop ever did right possibly was tires and brakes. I was a fool for continuing to take my vehicles there after several mishaps. When people show you who they are believe them the first time. I took my daughter's VW convertible there to get an alternator change. They CHANGED IT TWICE. Last week, the alternator gave out again within the time span that it was under warranty with the parts place advance auto. I no longer deal with K-Tire because of their incompetence so I took it somewhere else that shop found out that they use silicone and glue the connector into the alternator which is why it ultimately kept failing. GLUE AND SILICONE. Advance auto we're kind enough to reimburse me the labor and cost at the new shop $460 so that I wouldn't have to deal with K-Tire again. So we're very clear. This is not the first time that they have proved their work shotty and subpar. As you can see photos that I have attached here I paid $688 to have my daughter's heat fixed just to be told when I went to pick it up that the heat wasn't fixed and it needed a heater core, which was going to be another $1400. I'm not sure what I paid $688 for and I didn't even question it at the time. I think I was just concerned with the fact that it was gonna cost me another $1400 for her to have heat. I think you're able to test the heater core with the temperature gauge before you charge someone $688 to give them the same vehicle back that they brought in that didn't have heat. I PICKED UP THE SAME VEHICLE WITH NO HEAT THAT I TOOK THEM THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS I GAVE THEM $688 DOLLARS. Before that incident I brought the same car in to get her side view mirror assembly replaced. They broke the plastic part on assembly that held it on the vehicle. I went to pick it up, they had put a bolt through the broken plastic piece and the frame of my daughter's car. Not only did it look ridiculous. WHO GAVE THEM THE PERMISSION TO DRILL THROUGH THE FRAME OF MY VEHICLE? NO ONE!!!!!!!!!And if that wasn't enough when I went to drive off and I was trying to adjust the mirror it wouldn't work because they weren't even smart enough to plug it in when they put it on. They had to take it apart again just to plug it up. They then tried to say it was broken when I brought it in and I had taken pictures so it clearly showed that it wasn't and I ended up ordering the piece and they did put it on and reimburse me, but if I hadn't had proof, they have blamed me. Fast forward I've been in a nightmare with my car since January between this shop and the shop they took it to who was just as horrible Don's Auto Center don't take your car there either. I had a fuel pump issue with my vehicle. They put on a fuel pump module didn't work. Car ended up failing while I was on the highway going 70+mph on highway 59. It Failed than 30 minutes of me, picking it up from their shop. It actually failed more than once. They ended up reimbursing me for that failure of a repair. I took them to court. I couldn't believe how he sat in court and lied. One thing about me I keep immaculate notes and I keep a receipt everything I say I can prove. I won judgment against them. Save yourself the headache. Megamind Please. I never said that I bought an alternator from them. I said they put an alternator on my daughter's car twice. Everything I'm saying, I have proof of.

However, after having my auto serviced yesterday, I feel like a part of their family! This is truly the best automotive business in which to take your auto. You will most likely be greeted by Paige upon entering. She is professional and extremely kind and knowledgeable. Paige sent quotes to me before I took my auto in, she's awesome! I had planned on reading for 4-5 hours while waiting for my auto. Paige spoke with Micah (owner) and he went to warm up his truck to take me home. That was unexpected, appreciated and over the top customer service! I had a list from the dealership in KC of everything that needed to be done for maintenance. The pricing was SO much better with Garber, but in addition, they told me several of the items on the list did NOT need attention. Micah could have ripped me off and charged me to do some things that didn't need to be done. I have such peace of mind now that I found a place that I trust to maintain my auto!! I was hesitant to write this review because I know it could help to increase their business and when I need an appt I may have to wait.....but there's nothing like finding that local, family business which takes perfect care of their customers, I had to share and will take my chances of getting in to Garber!! Brought my car in for brakes and knew it needed more work than that; turns out it was rotors. I've taken it two other places and they couldn't find the reason for the noise. Randy identified it from my inept description. But wait it gets better; after dropping my car off one evening he called me the next morning and described the brakes work and additional work which would fix the noise I was hearing. He quoted everything extremely accurately for a job that had a lot of unknowns and didn't do any work until he talked to me and I gave the go ahead. On top of that he had it all done within ~24hours. How many times have you been slipped an oil change or headlight cleaning that you didn't ask for? And the work is done and you're stuck with an extra $50-100. Not here. He was open about the risks, price, and work both for the work I asked for and for things to look out for in the future. Went above and beyond rotating tires. He never created false urgency or inflated the amount of work he was doing. He explained it like the expert they are there and then dumbed it down to terms I could understand when I asked. Moved to the area a couple months ago and I definitely found my mechanic! Won't be dreading my next visit, thus more likely to get ahead of car issues should they arise. Thanks Randy!

When I got it back I was super happy because it took about 3 weeks and I needed it back. But immediately after I noticed a lot of HUGE issues, car wouldn't accelerate, wouldn't turn off, wouldn't lock or go into park. I had to get it towed in, and they said they'd take a look at it. The receptionist woman was very unfriendly on the phone and in person, which was shocking because most of their other staff seem very polite. When they had it they said they'd fix it in the next week and it took them about 3 more weeks to get it back to me. Then finally I get it back for the second time, and my door dont open from the outside. I emailed them and told them about this issue and I was not rude or anything but I felt like the email I received back was very unfriendly. When I told them about this they told me not to take it to them if I cant trust them with my vehicle, which seems redundant since they are the reason I dont trust them, when I obviously trusted them enough to bring it there and to give them the opportunity to fix whatever mistake was made. I am a young woman and honestly felt a little taken advantage of and or not taken seriously whatsoever. I also received a couple voicemails saying essentially they didn't know what they were doing and they'd never worked on this type of car before (Hyundai Sonata), so Im not sure what "trust" they expect when they treat their costumers like this. They seem to lack a lot of basic costumer service skills and knowledge. They deal with a huge part of peoples lives (their vehicle) and people are bound to be frustrated when stuff is wrong with their car, so if they dont know how to deal with that they just shouldn't.
