After a review, he advised me that a replacement wouldnt be necessary, as the condition of the roof was expected for a roof of 12 years. There were no shenanigans to try to sell me on a replacement or costly repairs, which is refreshing as couple of inspectors had made the roof appear to be an urgent matter. We contacted SEC and they sent two guys over who applied caulking to several areas. We let the owner of the company know we weren't happy with this and he came over and applied more caulking and did a water test. His conclusion was that the leak was coming from the chimney and advised us to call chimney repair. A local chimney repair company came and did an inspection. He said the chimney looked good and it was a roofing problem around the base of the chimney. We ended up having to call another roofing company to do the repairs. I do not recommend unless you want to pay thousands more to fix their mistakes. The crew was not pleasant to deal with.

I knew from purchasing my home that the warranty for the roof was 10 years, and I was well within that. I tried to email them when I had the opportunity and the woman responded very callously that they were not going to do anything about it. When I returned home 3 months later, I used the phone to contact Adams with my paperwork in hand, and reluctantly they said they would send someone out. A week later my renter contacted me telling me that the repair crew told them: "It's irresponsible of the owner to have allowed this to go on this long without getting it fixed". I was pretty irate, but having heard what I have heard about the company I was just glad it was done. A year later, I returned to the home. The old renters had expressed interest in fixing the roof for a rent cut, and since it was just a little water stain I told them that was fine, but they never got around to it. After a few months of being back in the house after they left, I decided to remove the ceiling and fix it myself. Low and behold, the roof was STILL leaking, and since it was such a slow leak, it was just feeding the mold that was now growing in my roof. I called Adams and the crewman contacted me telling me that I HAD to be home at 0700 on the following day (a work day) otherwise they weren't going to do it. I told him I couldn't possibly take a day off that short notice, and he said to me, "when you are serious about getting your roof fixed, email me". After contacting the corporate office, and the general manager, finally the general manager came out. This guy tried to tell me that a palm frond, that was BARELY touching the awning, was causing the roof to not drain properly, a 45 degree angle was not able to drain because a leaf was touching the underside of my roof. He went on to attempt to strong arm and shut me down by demeaning my intelligence and claiming that this was basically my fault and that they would not fix the mold issue, or the wall damage, but they would send someone out to fix the roof...again. That day never came. I am now forced into hiring a litigator to handle the issue. I just wanted to warn everyone around that this company has not got it together yet. People knew they were crooks and supposedly they got their act together. As of May 12, 2017, they have not. Stay clear of this company.
