I have to tell you that I couldn't have felt safe as so many precautions were taken. Before I arrived the room was cleaned with a disinfectant, then fogged with another antibacterial agent, and finally an ultrasonic light treatment. The Dr and hygienist were in PPE gear. I felt safe! I also have to comment on what an honest, caring, practice is run by Dr Shemanyuk. Years ago I was told I needed a crown on a tooth and then Dr Shemanyuk bought the practice. In her opinion I did not, but she said she'd watch the tooth. 5 years have gone by and today she advised me I didn't need a crown but it was time to repair the surface! WOW! I'm thankful for the good care she and her hygienists provide. She has also taken great care of my dental phobic husband and he even says," it's not as bad as I remember "! This included a visit to another office they work with for the root canal portion of things. Ugh. Everyone in Dr. Lynch's office was so nice. The Dr. himself seems to truly care about his patients and their comfort. He doesn't seem rushed, and shows a great deal of patience. (I'm not the best patient). My Dad and his wife have been seeing him for years, as have several other people I mentioned my visit to. Everyone had nothing but rave reviews. The practice is comfortable and well-organized. No one really wants to have to see the dentist, but if you have to it may as well be pleasant. This office fits the bill. Speaking of which...I don't have insurance so I don't know which they accept, but as is to be expected, payment is required when service is done. They were happy to explain what costs to expect.

Recently I had to replace an old oral appliance and Dr. Demarest made recommendations based on my sleep apnea. I've tried C-Pap machines but with claustrophobia couldn't tolerate that device, so with an upgraded mouth guard designed for sleep apnea I've had great success with the oral appliance as treatment. I'm one of those "chickens" when it comes to any kind of dental work and they've always been compassionate and patient with my phobias. A special thank you to the Practice Manager Beauna who helped me to navigate my medical insurance coverage for my oral appliance. She has jumped hoops with the insurance co on my behalf, going above and beyond what she needed to do so my insurance would cover my appliance. Thank you!!!

He never came back into the room. The receptionist said I ruined his confidence because I questioned him. Mind you I was polite, never raised my voice and never swore. I guess a woman questioning an almighty man was too much for his confidence level.

It's PAIN!" I was crying, my heart was beating so hard I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I was hyperventilating and close to passing out, and Dr Karkoosh said:  "Don't pass out on me!" and he pinched the bridge of my nose. I have had 4 extractions in my life and NEVER experienced pain. I know the difference between pressure and pain.   As he stitched me up, I felt EVERY needle jab. Which was pretty telling . If you can feel every needle jab,  you're certainly going to feel a tooth being ripped out of your mouth! This nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone. Ellen Jones Community Health center ? My last visit, they tried to insist I fill out a form listing my personal financial details, despite the fact that I have full dental insurance coverage. The office does not do implants or bridge work, and the staff actively discourages seeking those options. I recently changed dentists and requested my records be sent. After ten days of no response, an administrator told me that because of budget cuts, patients will "just have to wait". Physically and functionally, the office feels like the worst sort of government bureaucracy. My personal opinion is that anywhere else would be a better choice.

I asked to talk to Dr. Meier before the extraction. He was reluctant and uncomfortable with my question, then he rushed me out of the room. As his caretaker, I never have problems talking to my brother's doctors. I only recently found out that this doctor also knocked out my brother's existing crown and had to glue it back in that day. My brother was afraid to tell me until just now. I can accept the crown dislodging as a normal accident and he fixed it with no issues. But given his discomfort with my question, then not telling me about the crown incident, I'm annoyed. Maybe he had an off day, but we will nonetheless request a different surgeon in the future.

Dr. Dexter and Dina are the type of people you instantly know they go all out for their patients.
