The staff is friendly and seemingly eager to assist. Picked up some fresh chicken breasts from the meat/ seafood deli this evening. Tried a new lemon, garlic-herb marinade that I soaked the chicken in for about 90 minutes. Grilled the chicken for a total of 22 minutes, flipping each breast 3 times. Incredibly tender and juicy! A+

Popping in for a few bits on Christmas Eve, the store was mostly well stocked (some bakery items were low) but the deli staff was in great shape and very helpful. Produce section looked excellent. Large wine and beer areas, the entire store is tidy and well lit.

An Italian sub with almost zero meat!

Ordering and picked up or easy, except the store didn't include the ham glaze. The note to pick it up was underneath the price tag on the ham so my wife didn't see it. Preparation was well thought out by Publix - each of the dishes took about an hour to cook at the same temperature, allowing one of them to be used for everything. Looking back, I would modify the dressing and sweet potato casserole, to make them less runny. Ham - excellent flavor, and very tender. I can't comment on the glaze (see above). We ended up making our own, since Publix was closed on thanksgiving day (I support that). Dressing - it came out very runny, so I would either increase the temperature a bit or cook it uncovered longer. I was surprised that gravy wasn't included with it, but then again, I've never heard of ham gravy for Thanksgiving (yea, I've made Red Eye Gravy, but that's another meal and ham). Sweet potato casserole - way, way, way too sweet and runny. It was more like a soup. The "topping quote was added just as a glob to the casserole. We scooped it out after tasting it. blah. Green bean casserole - I really liked that. The green beans weren't mush. They were crisp and flavorful. Marshmallow delight - I can't give you any feedback because I wasn't going near it with a 10 foot pole. lol. Rolls - I was expecting Mrs. Schuberth type rolls. These were somewhat hard and crusty. Overall, it was a good experience and meal. We have tons of leftovers, so come on over.

My experiences have consistently been positive until yesterday. While checking out, I encountered an employee who seemed noticeably unhappy. She did not greet me when I came through the line, and her demeanor felt dismissive. When I politely asked if I could use the restroom, she quickly responded that it was closed for the evening. I tried to lighten the moment by jokingly asking what employees do when it's closed, but she looked at me with clear frustration and replied, "We don't go to the bathroom after 8 PM. It's closed, okay?" She also exchanged what appeared to be an annoyed look with another staff member. I understand that everyone can have difficult days, and the store was near closing time. I even understand that the restroom is closed after a certain time. However, the interaction was surprisingly unpleasant and very unlike the level of service I'm used to at Aldi. I am not upset. I mainly wanted to share this experience in hopes that she can receive additional customer service support or training, especially since she interacts with guests regularly. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate Aldi's commitment to customer satisfaction and hope this feedback is helpful.

Their eggs are great. The produce is terrific. The frozen is super. And the prices are as much as 50% what I spend at Publix or Harris Teeter for the same. I'll keep shopping ALDI because they're awesome. Tip 1: You need to bring a quarter for your cart deposit. Tip 2: You need to bring your own bags because their bags aren't free. Enjoy! The symptoms have been so bad, I've been elected to go on Recon to search, identify and purchase this distinctive and tasty treat. Today, I called this location and they confirmed they have it on the shelf. I had to be in the area for my scheduled hair cut so I stopped in and picked some up. I've not found any locations in York County that stock it...yet. But I'm still lock and loaded if I get it in my sites! If you'e never had it, you would not understand!

I sincerely hope she gets to retire soon as she clearly needs because she should not be in a public facing position EVER again. But there is no prepared food here. The place is small and tiny. So the selection isn't vast but they do have the staples required in many Asian homes. I was impressed with the variety of lao items here. We purchased some laotion sausage and while overpriced it was definitely delicious. Since living in Charlotte, I have learned to always check the expiration date on items. Not that something slightly out of date will scare me but sometimes you see things that are expired from a year or two ago. So really, I would give this place a three but due to do the deception of thinking I could get hot prepared food - I have to bump it to a two.
