I have been shopping here for at least 7 or more years here. The employees are always very helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are finding everything. The breakfast hot bar was anything but that, I served myself some tater tots, cheesy eggs (that looked reconstituted from powder), and a biscuit. After I completed my exorbitant $12 a pound "hot" bar purchase, I asked the attendant where the microwave to reheat my cold food was. She smiled almost mocking me with a glint in her eyes and said "they just put that out and I don't... think we have a microwave". I would not recommend the "hot" bar especially since there is nowhere to reheat your food and customer service is sorely lacking, at least at this early hour at this location. You'd honestly be better off at the fast food across the street and come out spending less. I've had a much better tasting and well-heated breakfast at Dunkin or McD's--pretty much anywhere other than here. They probably even have a microwave somewhere that patrons could reheat food at, but the self-checkout attendant wouldn't know or care even if there were. read more

DO NOT BUY THEIR SUSHI! My husband and I get their sushi a lot. This time we will never get it again! We ate a good half of it, and it tasted a little odd. My husband went to go look of the date it was made. They literally put new stickers over it! FALSE ADVERTISING!! It said was made today 11-10-25. But when you peel back the sticker to see the other dates. It was made on the 8th! After realizing the old stickers were shrimp rolls and the new one was a crunchy shrimp roll, they obviously trying to cover up the gross looking food. read more

One thing about this trip is that Hurricane Helen was threatening the east coast. Managing to fly in Raleigh was cool. On my way to Rockingham, my friend and I stopped here at this Harris Teeter grocery store. Being from Hawaii, I didn't know what was a Harris Tetter was. My friend told me that it was a large grocery store like Whole Foods, but less gourmet items. We had time to kill since a large rain storm pelted the area as we found parking and ran towards the entrance. It was around 10am and noticed a Starbucks inside. Decided to pick up a drink while doing some shopping for the weekend ahead. The Harris Tetter was quite large, large enough to be as big as a Whole Foods. And so, I basically shopped for food that would help me with this little ultramarathon event that I had going on in Rockingham, North Carolina.. Basically energy drinks, water, any assortment of drinks, candies and cookies, assorted junk food, and of course, bananas. I also checked if they had wine, which they have plenty of. But I'm not familiar with any of the liquor laws that they have in North Carolina, so I decided not to buy. Although I was thinking about it, but I can't celebrate in other ways. It was a nice place to hang out in and buy groceries. Harris Teeter is a pretty cool grocery store in this area of greater Raleigh, or maybe in Cary, North Carolina. They quintessentially carry pretty much many of the daily items, fresh produce, deli, and all of the household items you may possibly need. Your daily or weekly shopping destination pretty much. I enjoyed my visit here even though it was just a one time only. Hope to be back soon. The overall experience here at this particular Harris Teeter grocery store felt like a Walmart + Whole Foods or just maybe a Safeway in my neck of the woods. There was good lighting and not much of air conditioning here but it was okay and comfortable. It was easy to navigate, much like any formidable grocery store, with the produce on one area, the meat deli area, the bakery in one, and the rest of your every day items in the middle of everything else. The service was good and quite quick, especially when you go there during the middle of the work day and on vacation too. The prices here are fair and reasonable too, compared to what I see in Honolulu, Hawaii. Everything is arranged nicely on the shelves and you can navigate pretty easily to find what you need. For the most part though, this stop at this Harris Teeter grocery store was a good thing. Running once entrance during a torrential downpour was probably a favorite of mine, looking back. I spent about $30 here. Not sure if they had a loyalty program here, as they didn't ask me to join one at the time I was there. Still nice that there was a a Starbucks here. If you're in the area and need to make a stop for supplies like how I did in your adventures in North Carolina, consider coming to this Harris Teeter location. It's close enough to a lot of things, especially that Walmart in walking distance. This particular Harris Teeter grocery store is located at 2080 Kildaire Farm Road in Cary, North Carolina. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they share a parking lot as grande as some large Walmart locations. They also share parking with other businesses and restaurants. It's a cute little neighborhood that would be pretty cool to live in someday. I arrived and left with a friend in a private vehicle. Best bet would be to have one or have a rental car, since I don't know if there is any public transportation options available to get here. Maybe there is but I haven't seen anything yet. And so, if you want a different shopping experience, consider coming to Harris Teeter. Might be worth coming to check things out. I know that it was a rewarding experience for me. I love Harris Teeter. There's always room for improvement, but in today's times they are doing a good job. Quality has slipped a little with the world/economy changes but not as much of a slip as other businesses. Also this location has a homeless lady who might follow you around and ask for cash in the parking lot. She's been there all summer 2025. Coming from Asheville and the Bay Area I'm excited to watch Triangle become the next tent town for homeless! She even has a little friend and they stand at the corner and rake in the cash. Young kids used to ride scooters and pass through that area by Whole Foods, but that block and across street Harris Teeter now owned by the local homeless. I will not return to shop here at this Harris Teeter. I made a purchase here that wasn't up to expectations and returned it the same day. America was the assistant who processed the return. I asked her once return was done could I have a return receipt and she quickly and nonchalantly responded back to give her a minute while she finished writing on transaction but also stated the store doesn't give a return/refund receipt , I told her normally all stores do but I looked in receipt and I found it was stuck to previous receipt on which she again quickly points and says I gave it to you. ( thought the store didn't give one?). I then I asked her another question and she responds while writing to yet and still "give her a minute" in which her overall body language and tone were still that of being uninterested. While some may say it is how some may normally speak/conduct themselves it is the PERSON who filled out the APPLICATION to deliver the qualifications of the job. Your one stop shop for spoiled produce! I was looking for some moldy mushrooms ( wasn't aware that was a thing) and a spaghetti squash that was halfway to being a liquid. This store had both! Wonderful experience being my own cashier to save the corporation more money. The produce section is a great resource for kids taking biology and public health classes. I rarely buy meat here, but gave it a try and I bought lamb chops the other day. Absolutely terrible! Tasted like the plastic wrap they were packaged in. When I went to customer service I was told their policy is I have to bring the product back with me! Really, so you want me to save cooked bad meat until my next visit!? It's not like I've EVER tried to return something to Harris Teeter in the past. You'd think a big store like this would work with their customers to keep them, with so many options out there, instead of giving them a hard time about a bad product that THEY sold you, while making you feel like they don't believe you. Sadly I don't even think the representative considered I was telling her the truth, must be lots of bad people her day to think like that, she just dismissed me and went to the next person. Several times over the past few weeks I have experienced products that rang up at the wrong price. When I asked for help, the prices were adjusted. I shouldn't have to know the price of every item I purchase, and I thought there were laws about this... evidently not. Since Kroger bought HT, the store have definitely gone down in quality and service and this is my last visit. We have shopped HT for 40 years and it's time to move on. This Harris Teeter location is always well stocked and has better produce than other Harris teeter locations. But since the pandemic I have had the following experience many times in the store. A customer(s) will be marching around the store without a mask, and when I ask the manager to do something I always get the same answer. "We already asked him to wear a mask, and he refused. Company policy is that we cannot ask him to leave or take further action." I asked why they don't ask the maskless shoppers to leave, and the manager always says they aren't allowed. This is a really nice and very large Teeter. Bright and clean with an excellent deli section and a very large beer and wine aisle. I picked up a nice salad for dinner (I had pizza for lunch so making a decent choice) that had krab and sliced chicken and some other goodies. To be 100% FAIR, I think this is a great store, nice folks work there and is always sparkling clean. I am writing this review in hopes that someone will read this and get CROSSWALKS installed at both doors for the safety of their customers. Recently installed STOP sign serve no purpose and possibly endanger people crossing. Pedestrian know (most times) motorist know to give right of way to pedestrians especially in a crosswalk. One of the biggest HTs in the area. Place is huge. Across the street from Whole Foods so they have a hot bar as well as pizza bar, asian bar and wings. Starbucks as well. This place is at least 1/3 bigger than the other stores in town. This one is the biggest but unlike the Harrison location and the new Raleigh location does not have a beer/wine bar inside. Very clean and friendly staff here. Has 2 rows of self scan vs the typical one row at most locations. read more

So I stumbled upon the hot breakfast bar one morning and every since I have been hooked. I love shopping here because of the amazing deals, and I love pizza mondays, but I never knew they had breakfast that starts at 630am, this is a southerners dream. So many options you can fix a plate to go or you can sit in the Starbucks and enjoy. It's a great way to start your day. We all know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. read more

My extended family has been going here for years. Probably never again. When we checked out at 1:00 today, the assistant manager was at a register with the chain across the entry. He said he could help, so we moved over to his checkout. What a mistake. He never asked about the VIC card, so I entered it on the key pad after he started. He was struggling, so apparently he started over. Other employees were around, but seemed reluctant to help him. He moved slower than anyone I've ever seen, and did not know how to check some of the prices. As many other customers around us checked out and left, we were stuck watching snail man silently screw up. Remember this is the assistant manager. We later found the total did not include our VIC number, so the total was $30 more than it should. He also rang up some items more than once. I was truly afraid how long it would take if we tried to get it corrected with this clown in charge, so I just paid and left. Again, this was the assistant manager. I would say he should find a job he can do, maybe something not involving people or arithmetic. Sad, this used to be a pretty good store. Many of the employees are competent and friendly, but this assistant manager is so bad it really could eventually affect the entire business. read more

Pleasantly surprised by this Harris Teeter tucked in a shopping complex across the street from the Cary Whole Foods. There are some specialty products here (nori, bok choy, decent tahini) you would also find it at Whole Foods or HMart as well as normal grocery stuff. They don't have White Oak Pastures meat or pastured eggs, but they did have some organic chicken options (Farmer's Focus, Mary's Air Chilled). Even with the VIC card, I find the prices here quite high for everything. Staff was nice though and the store was clean. read more

I've tried to pick online orders from here twice. The first time I waited 35 minutes before someone finally brought the pre-ordered groceries out. I get hone and they weren't even mine. The second time I went and waited 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I was there. Then after the third person came out to ask my name and order I just gave up and cancelled it. This is by far the worst online delivery service around. I can't imagine it being worse and still having business. read more

There's actually a HT that's closer to my apartment complex, but I tend to drive the extra 2 miles and go to this one instead. The main reason? There's a hot food bar!There's actually 2 hot food bars. One is mixed, mostly American cuisine. The other one is mainly Chinese cuisine. There's a good selection of meat and veggies and almost always some sort of fish option (and I love it, I'm too lazy to prepare fish!). HT charges $6.99/lb for their hot bar foods, which is $1 less than Whole Foods. Other than that, this HT is just like the others: clean, spacious, friendly employees, great selection. I am giving this place 5 stars for the quality of products that it sells at 1230am. I landed at RDU late and wanted to grab some dinner after a hellish travel day. Walmart was closed. Hey, no complaints at all about this neighborhood supermarket. Granted, I have never clipped a coupon in my life (and really should) so I can't speak to the value vs. Kroger etc. The selection is really remarkable for a big ol conglomerate like this, serving many audiences, in particular mid-income families. Tons of veggie/organic frozen items, in fact, it rivals Whole Foods in this respect. They carry the Morningstar mini-corndogs which I live and breathe for and used to have to order online. I just moved to the area and discovered this HUGE HT, loaded with 2 HOT FOOD BARS, (one Asian, one American). A full service PIZZA shop, AND a full service SUB shop (Subway style). Also you will find 3 rows are appointed to accommodate the fresh salad, olive and fruit bars. Although I pass a few grocery stores to shop this MEGA HT, I feel like it's worth it. I hope that HT will replicate the amenities found at this great location. If you've never witnessed this type of variety and convenience at your local grocery store, this One-Stop-Shop would validate your visit. read more

Epic Fail Teeter. Went to get groceries and the store looked like a hurricane was coming. At least 1/2 the shelves were empty. Many items not available. I asked for a couple things that the dept folks checked on but no luck. Told the manager when I left and he said Sorry but was not really very sorry, acted like he really did not care and seemed a little peeved that I had bothered him to tell him the obvious. On top of the convoluted eVic program, I am pretty well shopping at Harris Teeter in Crescent Commons. And that is a shame because I live less than 1/2 mile away. This is my go to store for buying groceries. The convenience is that they're open 24/7 however you won't be able to get things like cold cuts at those odd ball hours, but there are plenty of alternatives! The deli section features a great selection of fresh sliced and pre-sliced products. the beer and wine section also has a great selection in a well organized setup. Stroll around and see what this store has to offer. The only down side is the point of sales system, no digital lookup on screen for things without a bar code on them, so you have to fumble around with the plastic wheel lookup code thing above the register. This is slow, especially for the self checkout lanes which are the only choice at night. read more

Love the flower/plant lady at this Harris Teeter! I love Harris Teeter and this is the one that I shop at more often than not. I'm here at least once a week if not more. Their selection is good, produce is wonderful and wine selection good. Although I've been coming here regularly for quite a while now I felt compelled to review them today because of the flower lady. I bought a bundle of flowers and a live plant today, something I do frequently. She recommended care for the cut flowers, unsolicited, and, when she saw me in the store again later, shared with me that she'd watered the plant earlier in the day so it wouldn't need water for a few days. Even so, I love Harris Teeter grocery stores. I haven't been to one yet that disappoints, including this one. HT always comes through. I can always count on finding most of my rare food faves and that means a great deal to me and my family. That includes foods like: - A vast variety of cheeses over by the deli, - Stunning desserts in the bakery cases, - Newly released items on the shelves, - Fabulous selections in the frozen aisles, -Great sushi that can be ordered, pre-packaged or made in front of you - Show-stopping hot food like ribs, pizza and chicken - An amazing salad bar with all the salad fixings you could ask for Yes, I could go on and on because all of that and more are right there for our purchase and enjoyment. Great service is probably their motto at HT! They are one of the few markets that will still carry your groceries ot to your vehicle and refuse your offer to to tip them! (EXPERT TIP: If I ask for help on a carry out to my car, I will still offer the employee a tip and even though they will not take it, I simply express my sincere thanks. They will even try to help you with reasonable last minute requests like personalizing a cake or icing some cupcakes. All of the other departments are equally amazing. From the butcher, the seafood counter to dry goods, the entire team is there to enhance your shopping experience. Look for different foods and give them a try! It is completely possible for a great grocery store to open your mind to new foods, cultures and products. As such, HT is just the kind of store that can do that. Another piece of advice. Get yourself a "VIC Card," for their loyalty discount program. It will save you hundreds over the course of a year. After moving in from out of state, I thought I'd give Harris Teeter a try before I went to my usual grocery store of choice, Whole Foods. At first I wasn't impressed based on the layout of the store and the mishmash I had to go through to find what I needed, but they seemed to have a decent organic produce section and a lot of the gluten free and dairy free items I used. Upon eating a lot of the food I decided not to go back. The organic produce seemed really old, my "fresh" salmon had definitely been frozen and most of the other food seemed like it had been frozen as well. This is the second time the pharmacist has actually hung up on me after being told they were provided with wrong insurance information, which they were not or just not even attempting to order medication when the script is dropped off instead of waiting unit someone comes in to pick it. She has said in no uncertain words she could "care less if I transfer my scripts elsewhere because I am not happy with her service" and hangs the phone up. We were there to pick the script up at 5:40. It was not available and could not be processed. At 5:45 there is a VM stating it is now ready. I have never been treated so rudely by a pharmacist. As a customer and a prescriber, this kind of behavior should not be tolerated no matter what the situation. In this case, the medication is $1500.00. My doctor did a PA and text me the approval from 2-days ago. Tonight she says we provided her with the wrong insurance or not updated insurance information which anyone knows can be proven to be 100% false. First, I had meds filled with my current insurance, and 2.) she would need the correct insurance to even know a PA was needed. 3.) she filled this RX last month. I have her VM. I am shocked that you let this kind of behavior be tolerated. Most people who are picking up medicine are sick and to be yelled at and not allowed to speak when someone is well is bad enough, but to know she is allowed to treat customers who are sick this way is unbelievable. read more

The nicest Harris Teeter I've been to, yet. It's huge. I like wandering around grocery stores even when I'm not buying anything. In those wanderings, I've decided that this location has the largest organic selection I've seen outside Whole Foods, which is across the street, and Trader Joes. The salad and olive bars are really surprising -- I can't say that I really knew there were that many different kinds of olives, but I'm really enjoying trying them all. The hot food bar is one of the primary reasons I stop by. On a day when I've had to work late it's really nice to be able to pick up the usual groceries and a decent hot meal cooked by someone else, especially when I can choose from any of at least 3 or 4 different entrees and sides. Combine that with the Greek salad from the salad bar and I'm good. It's not the cheapest grocery store chain, and for some of the staples I need, wouldn't be my first choice, but you can get a good deal on specials and store brands if you're watching things like that. read more

Reviewing Harris Teeter in Wal-mart shopping center. Stopped in here for one item and did not get a cart or basket. They were out of the item I was looking for (flavor) so opted for another one. The guy stocking the Yogurt was very helpful and let me know when the next delivery was coming. As I proceeded, I grabbed a few other items. The lady in the bakery department was very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous. Excellent cheesecake, please do no add crust! While I was there, I saw they carry Boar Head's brand in the deli department. The prices were a bit high for nitrate free but I thought -- this would save me a trip to 2 other stores including Whole Foods across the way. The deli person was courteous; however minus 1 star did not know the products well. A concern on the health code ratings as there was a ton of prep work going on. The other minus 1 star is they use brown paper wrapping. -- I got turkey and swiss cheese. Well, the cheese is dried out! I appreciate the use of environmentally friendly. But paying these prices to have the items go bad is like throwing $$ away. Kudos to another customer who saw me balancing all my items and had her son get me a basket -- THANK YOU. HT Management, might want to consider keeping baskets somewhere nearby for shoppers who could get some additional items. If they cannot carry them; perhaps, they will not consider making the purchase. Hopefully, you will look into the problem and rectify it with the deli. I really want to like your place as it would be a convenient stop on way home from work but not sure as I may just go across the street to WF! read more

This is a huge grocery store! I think it's the biggest Harris Teeter I've seen. The selection is incredible. It's not the cheapest grocery store around, but their specials can be pretty reasonable, along with the house brands. The cheese selection in the deli was wonderful. I'm sure if you really search, you can find some things they don't carry, and Whole Foods probably has a better selection of natural/organic merchandise.
