Ordered a wrist corsage with pink roses and a lavender ribbon for a little girl. I needed it to be ready at 9 am as we had a long drive ahead of us. I arrived shortly after 9 and it wasn't ready. There were no pink roses. So the florist associate put together an unattractive combination of maroon and pink flowers with a tiny white bow. Harris Teeter typically has great deals and a decent amount of variety on most everything. This particular store had adequate parking and was very clean and well-organized. I definitely prefer this location compared to the one near my house because it's newer and updated. Some of the products I was looking for were near expired, which made it difficult to find certain things during my week stay in Charlotte. However, I was able to find alternatives and managed just fine. The cashier was friendly and quick with checkout. Overall, this is a solid grocery store and I'll visit again when I'm in Charlotte for a long stay. read more

Ever since Bi-Lo departed and Publix took over their spot, I've been a loyal Publix shopper. Mrs. K. and I were passing through Quail Hollow and I thought we'd stop in here for our top up shop. The store felt crowded even though it wasn't that busy on a weekend at 11:00. Produce was excellent and very tidy. Butcher and fishmonger were staffed and the deli looked great. We had no problem finding most of what we wanted today but there were still a couple of items that they didn't have in stock. A+ Location - Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Made the journey to this location because they had a North Carolina DMV Machine available - Anyways, It didn't work out for me - But, I was able to do a bunch of shopping. The pharmacy is the absolute PITS. The pharmacy techs are rude and difficult. They make you feel as though they are being bothered when you pick up a prescription..,even when they are doing NOTHING except standing there!!! read more

Harris Teeter is a nice grocery store. It reminded me a lot of a Fresh Market, Giant Eagle Market District or upscale Publix. With the added ambiance and wood floors in some aisles, you will pay a premium on some products for the experience. As with any grocery store, know your prices and what's on sale. I'm from out of town, so I was looking for some things for my hotel room, beer, water, alcohol, snacks, and booze were on my list. I walked around for a good 20 minutes or so checking things out and will say for those items, nothing caught my eye. I think I spent less than $2 on two bottles of water. To get the sale price, I had to flag down an employee who was able to scan the card. That's one thing I like about Publix is you don't need a card to get the sale price! It seemed pretty new as of March 2020, so hopefully they keep it looking all spic 'n span. But all of that upkeep comes at a cost and I didn't overspend on some of the beer options available. read more

I had a terrible experience at this harris teeter, there's a employee by the name of "Joe" I belive, who's been "serving since 2016" and he's older and white and he refused to ring us up, I've never had a worse experience and the management doesn't seem to care about his antics either. It was in the morning and I didn't have a good visit and i wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. read more

Stopped in after eating at a restaurant nearby for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. I personally seek out their occasional specials on cases of Diet Pepsi. Today they were $4 ea with a store card. I thought the interior design was pretty and noticed they had a nice area to purchase flowers. I had some difficulty finding shallots, but asked an employee nearby. He was very pleasant and said "Oh, you're so close. Just a little farther." His good nature at doing his job was refreshing. Kraft cheese packages just happened to be $2 ea so I bought several. A good day to stock up. This location also has a very small section of clearance items in a rack right beside the front door of the store. So you might check it out for a deal. The lady checking me out was very, very nice. We chatted a bit and she said she was from Shri Lanka. She smiled and was very pleasant. It's so very nice to see such pleasant employees who seemingly enjoy what they are doing. read more

This location keeps selling bad seafood. This is like the 4th time of me returning seafood I'm not sure what's going on. I purchased bay scallops today that I'm getting ready to take back due to their slimy and has an awful smell. There is no way this is being sold to customers. read more

Main draw is obviously the fuel rewards because prices are higher than places like Aldi and Food Lion. The beer selection is huge, good, and reasonable priced and this particular Harris Teeter has a large produce section with everything you can ask for. The lines move fast here and staff is friendly in my experience. Again my criticism comes from the prices being high to pay for all the perks of this location so it's really foolish to buy non-perishable items here if you have another choice. Still cheaper than Publix generally though. read more

Long time shopper with HT and I've always had great experiences and in the world of COVID. Although I know this is an isolated experience I felt the need to give my experience overall as 4 stars but this visit left much to desire. With COVID numbers on the rise, I found going early morning to shop at opening there are less people. During this particular visit I came at 7am and had not grocery shopped in over a month. I had a grocery cart full since the idea is to stock up and less visits. During checkout, possibly about 7:30am, no registers were manned so I headed to self checkout. An associate who later I saw was a bagger asked if I needed a register which I thought was great customer service. With the amount of groceries I had, would have been difficult. I asked if not a problem, I would definitely like that. He went and grabbed someone from the service desk her name was Patricia. In a condescending asked me if I'm the one that requested the register and I responded with yes and she did a deep sigh. This made me feel uncomfortable and she didn't say Good Morning although I spoke to her. She literally said nothing that entire time until my giving my total and oh yeah if I wanted paper or plastic. I've shopped at HT more times than I can count and different locations. I've never had this happen before & wanted to report it then but others were now in line so I moved on. Overall nothing but great things to say about HT but this anomaly needed to be reported. read more

I have always shopped this HT in the past, in person. However, they have not adapted well to the virus. I'll be shopping else where until this is over. 1) Can't revise your on-line order 2) Employee delivered groceries with no gloves, nor a mask (sad). 3) Can not get a VIC card except in person, in store. read more

Decent HT. Sometimes the lines can be long. Deli department is pretty quick. Overall, they are pretty stocked on items. The only thing that can be a pain is the parking lot. read more

As a Publix devotee I was asked to pick up a neighbors online order at this Harris Teeter but I will no longer visit this store for any reason. We are too far into this pandemic for employees to not adhere to CDC recommendations and NC state laws. Management needs to step it up! read more

Wide variety of groceries. Salad Bar, Pizza Bar, etc... all the basics that make Harris Teeter the leader in Charlotte grocery stores for the past 30+ years. Produce freshness has been lacking lately (actually find fresher produce at Food Lion down the street) and prices continue to climb without additional value. Their weekly sales can be a bit insulting (i.e., one week strawberries on-sale for $2.50, next week they are also listed as "on-sale" for $3.99 for identical size. How's THAT a sale?) High cashier turnover which slows things down. A couple of the cashiers *need* to be "turned over" - it's obvious they're not happy there. Overall, best place to shop in the immediate area ... until a Publix moves in nearby. read more
