I rarely come to this location even though it's close to my job. It's a nice location, but the only thing I don't like is that it's 2 floors. So they have like lotions, health and more beauty things on the second floor so if you have to get anything in that area, you are forced to go upstairs. You can either take the elevator, which is useful if you have a cart, or you can take the stairs if you like. They do have a bar area upstairs, though, so if you would like wine, you can definitely get one. There are also plenty of seats and tables upstairs, so if you want to eat lunch or just something you bought to eat from there, you can definitely sit and enjoy a meal there. They also have an outside patio area with chairs and a table, which you can definitely enjoy when the weather is nice. They do have a Starbucks inside this location, which is nice. They have a deli section, sushi, some hot foods. They have a salad bar which has plenty of great fresh ingredients. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have a hot food bar or an Asian bar. I like having those options so that I have something hot to pair with my salad. Other than that, it's not a bad location. They have an open parking lot, but their parking is limited, so if you go during peak hours, it can get full, and you will have to drive around until you can snag a spot.

It's bigger on the inside because the store is on two stories. There's a flight of stairs and an elevator that moves quickly and has enough room for at least three shopping carts. This Teeter has the usual excellent shopping experience with well stocked and well leveled shelves, plenty of room to move about, bright lights and shopping carts where all four wheels work great. Seafood, butcher, deli, huge cheese bunker, lots of produce. Upstairs, a large selection of beer and wine.

Along came Kroger.... ....and the party ended. This used to be a great grocery store. Then, for some insane reason, they closed it and built a building that's way too big for the intersection, cannot understand how the design got through the city planning commission. Adding insult to injury, some moron chose to make this new store 2 levels and it's a real pain in the you know what. All that said, it was still a pretty good grocery store. (none of that is on Kroger) Then Kroger bought them -- game over. -- The store is filthy. The vegetable and milk sections especially so (see picture). This is true at East Blvd also. -- The quality of the meat is still good, but after 4.30pm they never have anyone behind the counter that can cut meat. If a person wanted to stop in after work and request a specific cut of meat, no can do. (the meat counter at Southpark is beyond bad, just filthy) -- They have lots of selections of cheese, pretty much always very old. A while back I opened my cheese at home and behind the label where it wasn't visible, covered in nasty mold. -- The vegetables and vegetable prices are just terrible, look at the corn in the attached picture. The signage is terrible..."extra large artichokes", are anything but that. White corn, is yellow at least half the time. Etc... I've given up and started shopping at Publix, the store is SPOTLESS. The prices are GREAT. The quality of the vegetable products is EXCELLENT. Publix isn't nearly as convenient but at this point I'd seriously be worried about catching some kind of disease from the vegetable section of the Harris Teeter in Myers Park.

Met some friends at the upstairs wine, beer and beverage bar to hear a local singing talent one evening recently. I did not realize HT had performers come in as well as the bar and outside balcony seating at this particular HT in Myers Park! We had a great time and the local craft beer selection (as well as the wine selection) at the bar were very good!! Also prices of wine and beer were on special (local craft beer for $4 and $5). Assuming HT has these events regularly so know I'll be back!

This review is mostly about the amazing wine bar. Who knew supermarkets had wine bars. A work friend and I went here today at 6:30 to grab a glass. The special was half priced rosé so we grabbed a $6 glass. It was super tasty, a little bitter but had notes of strawberries. The wine sommelier was great and friendly! We sat outside and watched the bustle of the charlotte working class heading home. It was a nice day and we saw the sunset. The couches outside are super comfy and there was great shade. The overall ambience was great and it was an amazing way to unwind after a day at work. Head over to grab a drink and relax on the deck.

Nice Harris teeter but the deli lady (specifically sandwich station) is always SO rude. Other then that, clean store and nice bar area.

I asked for a Turkey, bacon and cheese sub. He goes to say, "oh that's extra meat". I asked, how? Then went to say that I've never been told that and I'm there often. The guy continues on with his reasonings. I was lost and confused by this time. So, I let him know that I didn't mind paying for what I wanted. That was just some new info to me. He started going about how not charging affects his bonus pay and this that and the third. I didn't ask him for any of that info. Carried out so bad, he ended up burning up the bacon. I kindly let him know he burned my bacon. He picks it up and look at it. I replied again, "it's burned, I don't want it"... Trying to be nasty and look, bacon turned out to be useless. Hopefully "he's" paying for it, smh. And I doubt that he will. I never want to encounter him ( older, black American guy) again.'Never had that problem with anyone else. Sometimes the line can be extra long or there's been a time when they were out of white bread(but the young guy, took care of that for me)... This guy was rude, too old to carry the situation out like he did. I was fresh off work, tired and all(still in uniform). I had no time for that type energy. I was trying to grab dinner and get home. That's it and that is all. I work in an executive kitchen in Uptown, we please and take care of our customers. I would do the same and give the same energy even if it was QT, Subway and any other place. I ended up purchasing the sub as well as a pack of Oscar Myers fully cooked bacon strips( again I do not mind, paying for what I want). The service and experience was horrible. He needs to stay off front line. Especially tell me, the customer... "If I don't charge, it affects my bonus. Go get who usually serves you and I'll tell them too. See, I don't mind. They must not know"... ... Pissed me off, so UNPROFESSIONAL. I'm sure the few who were behind me in line heard him also. They ended up walking away.

Shopping experience was really nice as it always is at Whole Foods. This location seemed smaller and the employees definitely do a ton of shopping for pick up orders so that could get in your way. Items are often out of stock, and it's not always predictable what will or won't be available, which makes it hard to rely on for regular shopping. The takeaway bar can also be hit or miss--many times items are unavailable, and when they are, some of the hot bar items can be on the dry side. The cut fruit has also been inconsistent--either underripe or overripe, with very little in between. Overall, great quality when everything is stocked and fresh, but consistency (both inventory and prepared items) needs improvement.

I worked/lived in Northern Va for 15 years and would drive distances to do my grocery shopping there. BUT, this location is without a doubt THE most challenging location. For many reasons. The store lay out is like a jig saw puzzle. In no way does it follow the layout of all the other stores I've been to. The WORST part is the entry/exit and parking. Most every time I've been, there is always a near miss with someone pushing a cart with everything but groceries in the driveway entrance/exit. The most recent experience is why I finally decided to post this review as a WARNING. Beware, there are people who act as though they are trying to get hit. You can draw your own conclusions as to why but it's a fact. Yesterday, this person is approaching the entry crossing pushing a cart. I'm making a right turn off Central into the lot. We make eye contact, they stop as I inch closer into the entry way...then they STOP right in the middle of the crossing and act like they are pulling up their PANTS off the ground. There are vehicles behind me on the horn because they can't see what's going on. It's a highly dense, intense traffic location. On every side there are pedestrians, cyclers, dog walkers and people pushing carriages.
