A few of the non alcoholic beer options
Kate S.

A wonderful neighborhood market combined with a record store. They have a handful of frozen and fresh foods for immediate consumption. They also have chilled and shelf beer and wine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate the vibe of the place and the fact that they stand for equality and protecting human rights of all of our community members. During non Covid times, they have a bar you can sit at to have a pint or a glass of wine. I look forward to those days again so I can spend more time in this lovely place.

Cool neighborhood bottle shop. Huge selection of local beer, and even some locally roasted coffee. They also have some beer on tap to enjoy on site, and have a back patio spot perfect for a summer eve of chilling.

I really like coming to this place and getting my favorite beers to go, or discovering new treasures and enjoying them there. I have been to this place several times and it has been very busy sometimes and quiet others, depending on the day and time. The service is hit or miss. There have been really friendly people behind the counter and ones that have been a little antisocial. Never a bad experience though. They have a lot of unique little snacks. I like to browse through and see what I can find!

I'm trying to make it more of a habit that whenever I'm in new cities I check out more record stores for the simple fact the depending the region of the country you're in the music tastes obviously is different. And even when they're the same you still may stumble upon some gems you could never find back home. A quick google search lead me to Tip Top Market. Located inside they have an amazing craft beer selection in their bodega portion of the market. Then you can also find a small bookstore tucked in the back corner of the building. And then finally there's the grand attraction we came for, the record store, Premium Sounds. Went in with no expectations but boy did they have a great collection. Littered with some gems that I'm not even sure they comprehended what they had in hand. I walked away with over 8 records, along with some I never knew even existed. If you're ever in the mood to have a great beer, buy and book and a record for nice evening in, stop by Tip Top Market. You will not be disappointed.

Great selection of beer, cider and hard seltzer. Love that they support local businesses.

It has such a calm vibe with plenty of seating inside and some outdoors as well. I loved that they offer seasonal drinks alongside their classics and food options. We opted for a cortado, a vanilla lavender matcha, and a chicken chorizo breakfast burrito. Everything tasted delicious and was served fast. We sat for around an hour working on our laptops and weren't interrupted. There were people chatting as well, so it's a great space to do both. I absolutely loved the fact that you can get other drinks too, since they have a large selection of wines and seltzers. Everyone we talked with was super sweet--I can't wait to visit again!

Anyway, I sat by a very friendly caressing plant until the 2 guys on their tinder date left the couch. There were no outlets at some of the other spots so I waited out and side eye the couch spot. A minute after I sat down, a lovely couple tried to squeeze the vintage wooden booth that looked like it was built before the civil war. Cute tho but tiny. I told them they were fine to join me so they could sit in the comfy chairs! And that I didn't mind. So they were grateful to join my spot back here in the last room. I don't need to bogart the whole corner so I was happy also that they came over. Food is good here and everyone nice and helped me carry my order so I didn't spill my beloved matcha latte!

Last year, I had a sandwich in Spain that I haven't been able to stop thinking about. I've tried several places around Charlotte looking for something similar, but nothing came close. I reached out to The Culture Shop to see if they'd be willing to recreate it, and not only did they say yes, they turned it into their weekly special using local honey, locally sourced peppers, and local bread. The result completely exceeded my expectations. It captured everything I loved about the original while adding its own Charlotte twist. It was honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had. Beyond the food, the team is incredibly kind, welcoming, and excited about what they do. The shop itself is worth browsing too, with a menu full of creative sandwiches and delicious options, plus a thoughtfully curated selection of pantry items and specialty foods. It's rare to find a business that's this passionate, creative, and willing to go the extra mile for a customer. I'll definitely be back, and I can't recommend The Culture Shop enough!

A large menu overhead explains all the options and the women at the front counter was super nice. They were busy for a Sunday afternoon but once everything came out it was steaming hot and delicious. I got the ham and brie grilled cheese and there were a few bites of Dijon that about cleared my nose! The jam was an except addition.
