Store not up to Harris Teeter standers. Looks like it closing, produce department has lot of overripe product. Lot of lights on the Deli sign out and other places. Like walking back into the 1960s. I seen Food lions look better. How is this store #121 going to compete with Publix just across the street. Customer service was good. Was asked to round off my total for charity and when I wanted cash back it was a .75 charge. Not a good practice. Very disappointing. read more

Shopped in this Harris Teeter a couple of times over the years but never dreamed this would become my home Harris Teeter. We've lived in Cornelius NC for almost 25 years and our primary home store was the one in Jetton Village. It's one of the largest in the Harris Teeter system and is considered to be a flagship, upscale store along with Mooresville and Davidson. The Cornelius Store is probably between 25 and 33% larger than this one. It had more selections like in the Bread Sections, Cornelius was around twice as large. That said, while the Denver Store is smaller, it still offers a lot of good quality food at reasonable prices and is everything we may need. Store is clean and well organized and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I look forward to shopping here more in the near future. read more

Let's talk about all the good things we can eat. Torino's Pizza, bananas, hot baked eight chicken, bread, cereal, burgers, soup, raisins, peanuts, waffles, etc. That is all. This store smells so badly I was unable to shop there. What is going on here? Another reviewer said it is a seafood smell but seems to be mixed with bleach. Extremely small HT, smallest I've ever seen, pretty sure there are larger drugstores. Selection isn't nearly as good as other stores. Restrooms were clean, however the store just seems dirty, maybe because it's an older store. The last coffee creamer I wanted on the shelf was already opened. Just not a good shopping experience, especially compared to Publix just down the street. So many times I contemplated just walking away from my cart and leaving, but I didn't. This would be a fine store if you just need to run in and grab a couple things, but to do weekly shopping? No way. read more

We have been shopping at Harris Teeter a little more frequently as of late. With sales we have been able to get some things cheaper than Wal-Mart, Food Lion or Aldi. For example Sun Chips are $3.79 most everywhere and we just got them 2 for $5 at HT. Cheez-its were BOGO so we got 2 boxes for about the price of one any where else. Also with your VIC card and BOGO's or specials such as buy 2 bags of shredded cheese get 3 free that knocks the price down way below Wal-Mart. HT frozen waffles were BOGO so we stocked up on the whole grain waffles as Eggo brand whole grain waffles are priced way to high if you can find the whole grain. We also found a good sale on chicken breasts, and HT's black angus cube steak is some of the best you will eat. Also found a 25 lb bag of cat litter to soak up oil spills in the garage or driveway cheaper than any one else. They also have a carb master yogurt that is good if your counting carbs for about the same price as store brands. Gettting coopuns in the mail for $5 off of $30 or $10 off of $50 really helps plus on Thursdays you get a senior discount if your 60 or older. Its only 5% but anything these days helps. Plus your earn fuel points if you have a VIC card and we were able to save .20 cents per gallon and get gas for $4.27 a gallon. Now we don't to do the bulk of our grocery shopping here but we do shop the sales and with the sales, BOGO's and other specials along with the coopuns we've been getting in the mail we have found we can get a lot of items cheaper than Wal-Mart or Aldi or Food Lion so any store that will help save us money on these astronomical groceries prices, that's where we will be shopping. read more

This is my neighborhood store, but I prefer to shop at other Harris Teeter stores near my office and in other communities. The employees are friendly, but the store seems tired compared to other Harris Teeter stores. Maybe it is due for a face lift? read more

We have been going here for years when out in the Denver area. At this intersection near the new Hwy 16 there are only 4 grocery options and HT is by far my favorite. This store has not yet got the new upgrades the other location has, but it is a great store. Clean, fresh produce, and good seafood. The only deduction is for the long wait times in the deli section and sub making station. As is usual with all HT's the checkout people are so friendly and the managers are always there to help out with bagging. Thanks for a great store. read more

I was once denied service at the register because I had one no mask. I have hit my saturation point, thinking today was probably my last visit until they get some common sense. I recently had abdominal surgery to remove Fibroids. I live alone and still need to prepare dinner. I wanted to make some Curry Chicken using leg quarts but I am unable to cut my chicken up the way I am use to. Because I went to Tractor Supply Co in Denver NC to pick up my pups dog food I felt I could get 2 task done on that side of town.I stopped by the Harris Teeter at 149 Cross Center Rd. I approached the young man in the meat section and explain my situation and asked if he could cut the chicken up for me as a courtesy. He went on to tell me that he only has regular knives like I do at home and not a meat cutting machine. Tell me which grocery store, especially one with a meat section, that does not have the equipment to cut meat and he would have to use the same knives I use at home. it's as if he felt I was an idiot. I don't pull the race card but I did feel that if I was blond hair blue eyes he would find that machine. I then drove across town to Public's off of Giles's Rd Huntersville, did the same thing and the young man said he'd ask. the mean manager came out and took my chicken himself. Cut it up in minutes and handed it back to me with a smile. Harris was my go to but I'm definitely changing that to Public's now. read more

This store isn't nearly as nice as other Harris Teeter stores. Also, as soon as you walk in, you're hit with a very strong odor of seafood, which isn't very pleasant, especially if you don't like seafood. The smell also permeates the produce department, which is very unappetizing. I think it should be further in back of the store. read more

Overall the employees are friendly and nice, however, I stopped buy cold cuts there altogether after complaining about the poor quality of the slicing to the management and I did not see any improvement. The cold cuts are never sliced as thin as I like and the slices of meat are inconsistent in size and width and sometimes raggedy. read more

I come here frequently but my favorite guy is the butcher Eli. He always enthusiastic about the seafood etc. But what really delivered that home town market feel was when I called today and asked what time the meat counter closes it was 7:50 and I was about 25 min away. Instead of saying "oh we close at 8" like everywhere else would, he said sure what are you looking for and I'll leave it on display for you. When we got there around 8:20 all the seafood was still on display minus the crab legs like promised. Awesome customer service. read more

My experience here has always been excellent, esp compared to other grocery stores. I also bought a cake here for my daughters 18th birthday and it was made the same day and rainbow colored inside. It tasted amazing and so moist! The roses I purchased for her were also very fresh . Thanks for all you do Harris Teeter! read more
