I haven't purchased anything so my review is only based off the pharmacy and food court, but both are so efficient!! I moved here from San Diego and was told this location is super busy however the 3 times I've been, including a weekend, parking has been no issue! The food court line has been extremely long each time however they are very efficient and it doesn't take as long as it seemed it would. Pharmacy is also very quick with filing Rx! The main checkout lines also never look that long and I'm looking forward to doing a haul! read more

So here's my review of the Costco Warehouse from Jul 11, 2021.] Fifteen years since I let me Sam's Club membership lapse and I've not rejoined a wholesale club since. But now that we're making our own dog food for our girls, it's time for bulk buying meats and veggies so we're checking out Costco. Yep, they have everything and they have it in massive quantities. Not just food, mind you. Appliances, shoes, tshirts and underwear, computers, televisions, vision and optical, a full-service pharmacy and even a discounted gas station out front. If you're looking for a mecca to capitalism, world trade and just-in-time marketing, this is the spot. The process to sign up took entirely too long because the young lady wanted to talk and we just wanted to shop. But then we had our card and our shopping cart and we're filling it up with a bunch of stuff that we needed, we just didn't know that we needed. Keto pizzas, fresh grapes (not for the dogs!), a massive bag of spinach (yes, this is for the dogs), several bags of frozen veggies and more. Not everything was cheaper than Amazon or ALDI, but lots of things definitely are. You will want to be careful, don't shop hungry, and be aware that just because they sell it, that doesn't mean that it's the cheapest way to get it. We walked out with $330 worth of stuff. About what I expected. Costco gasoline is about 30 cents cheaper than the cheapest station in Charlotte. Now that South Carolina has raised their gas prices and it's no longer worth detouring past Carowinds for a tank of gas, I suspect I'll be back here just for gas. I'm from San Diego and was here for the USD vs Charlotte baseball game. It's a Costco - a bit smaller than I'm used to but fine nonetheless. It wasn't busy. Staff were friendly. No complaints. Walking through I noticed a picture of the original San Diego- Morena Blvd Price Club (one of the originals) that's located down the street from my house in San Diego. Made me smile. read more

He was rude to my wife, to the office manager at the doctors office and to the assistant at the doctors office (all women) and then refuse to fill a prescription when you call him on it then Steven is your man. What a trip this pharmacy is. We were accused of lying and he accused the physicians assistant of lying. Seek prescriptions elsewhere. read more

Aesthetic: Membership grocery warehouse; a typical Costco location with a tire shop and food court. Experience: This Costco location is great, and I've been frequenting this store since I moved to CLT. I always visit the food court first so I don't shop hungry, and my favorite meal is the chicken bake. It's a million calories so you can do 1/2 for lunch and 1/2 for dinner or share with a friend. I don't recommend eating the whole bake then shopping. My husband loves the pizza and hot dogs. The food court food is always fresh and affordable. There is a wide variety of goods at this location. The only reason for 1 less star is that they run out of popular items quickly, and I've had to drive all the way over to the Matthews location for items before. However, the workers are always kind and they have helped me look for extra items at the Matthews location and checked what's in stock. A friend gave me a gift card so I came on a Sunday morning to check it out. I found a few items I wanted to buy so I thought it would be faster to do self checkout. I got all the way to the self checkout line breakout only to be told I have to go to a regular line because I don't have a membership. WTH is up with the line situation at this Costco?! That in itself makes me want to go to a different location. There are 3 main (super long) lines you queue up in only then to have to scramble to get into another line for a cashier. Other than the stupid line process, the store is clean and well stocked. Prices are clearly labeled. Grocery items, health and beauty, and cleaning and pet supplies, are on the left and housewares are on the right. In the middle is snacks, furniture, clothing. In the back is paper goods, frozen food, meat, the bakery, produce, and wine. Go early or late to avoid the crowds and long lines. read more

I'm giving this Costco locaiton 4 Stars; because the Staff have always been extra profession and kind to me. Guys have personally taken me through and helped me select the best TV - when we moved here a year ago. Nevertheless, I'm a bit disappointed with the selection at this location. No question, more items are available at the Matthews location, particularly in the Pharmacy. I suspect that this is because the "Matthews Crowd" is just a bit more sophisticated and hipper than the Charlotte crowd. Buying in bulk will always save you some cash - so more bang for your buck. Better Value ;-) - Avoid on the Weekends, unless you have a rendezvous with death. Your chance of getting "Deleted" in the Parking Lot are significantly higher on Saturday and Sunday - If you don't think that's funny and/or the truth, well - I don't know what to say. I came to get items for a tailgate but unfortunately they were out or didn't sale a lot of the items that I needed such as ice, sterno's, plastic spray bottle, plastic serving gloves, etc. But the service!?! The products at this Costco continue to miss the mark. I purchased a pack of chicken breast and organic chicken wings on Friday (4/10). I came home Saturday afternoon to a house reeking of spoiled food. I finally opened the chicken packages on Sunday when the smell hadn't gone away. The chicken smelled spoiled, even though the best buy day is 4/19! This is the second time I've had to return meat to this Costco...thought the first time was a fluke. Two days prior, I had to return Omni space heaters that sounded and smelled like they were going to blow up/catch on fire. I'm apparently not the only one having issues with the meat. There was a meat return in a box from a customer before me. An employee came and picked it up to show another employee. I would expect better from this business considering I pay to shop. Let me also add, that returning products due to quality control issues is inconvenient and a gas guzzler. I certainly don't have additional expenditures to travel to Costco when gas is nearly $5 a gallon. Do better! read more

Went in tonight to pick up a pizza. I'm visiting from Charleston and was happy to see a Costco right by our hotel ! It was about 715 when I ordered my pizza and I was standing waiting . There is a manager? Cisco. He was a wearing a black vest. He REALLY shouldn't yell loudly at another employee all the way from pickup area for food to speak to a fella working behind the desk all the way down by the bathrooms. As a former supervisor and trainer in customer service and managing a staff of 120 for over 25 years this is very unprofessional. Cisco yelled across the front at the fella to hurry up and clock out and he shoulda BEEN gone. Swinging his hands and arms and looking like a fool . Everyone turned and stared . He may need to be retrained or maybe doesn't have the right temperament to wear the black vest? I'm not even sure what that means . I felt really sad for the person he yelled at across the room . I'm sure he was embarrassed. Anyways , I did try to call before they closed to tell them but I was placed on hold and hung up on . Calm down Cisco! This goes for all Costco Locations. We purchased a TV and the All State extended warranty for the TV. It's sold as fix/replacement. I started having an issue with the sound on the TV being intermittent. Trouble shot and didn't fix the problem. It was not only with the TV speakers but also audio output. it got to be so frustrating, we just went an purchased another TV. I call to start the claim, explain I have already trouble shot the issue with all the basic stuff steps. They say call us back when the TV is actually having the issue....like they are open during the most frequent tv of use....after working hours for them. I also point out if it did do it when I can get someone on the phone, it's not like they have a tech waiting to rush to my house to see if they can fix the problem. I ask what the resolution is going to be for an intermittent problem. Are they just going to keep having me call to go through this trouble shooting steps every time I call? When would they actually replace the TV? Not until a repair person can see the TV. WTF??????? So I have determined this extended warranty is pretty much a money grab and it rather wasted money and Costco makes it seem like it is the best thing for you to buy to protect your TV. REALLY??? not in my case. As the rep stated when I called, it is only from normal use, so if you have an accident, or intermittent problems, you are out of luck. Great store with amazing deals. This is my new favorite spot. You can get food, home items, personal or hygiene essentials, Travel deals, an auto body shop, clothes, and more here. There is a huge parking lot that is not shaded many times even if you come in the morning the crowd has started. The gas is cheaper here. You can get shop on the app as a member and get free shipping regardless of how much you spend. The online store has different items then the in store and sometimes prices are different to online. They give you boxes but you can bring your own bags here. I recommend and will return. It has become popular so again you may have a wait at the check out or to leave the store. I went with my friend to this Costco to grab a few things because where I live we don't have a Costco. As we were checking out, the app wasn't working for us and an employee came over and started yelling at us and asking my friend if she was actually a member and she is so she said yes. The employee then told her to pull her card out and she didn't have it because she has the app and he sent her to his superior and she continued to get hassled for not having her card and using the app. I have never been treated like this in a Costco of all places. Honest Logan. I don't care that you used to live in the Myrtle Beach Areas, all I want is some Customer Service. When this Costco opened about 15 years ago, my wife and I were members through the Company I worked for. That company was not far from where this location is so it was not big deal to shop there ever though we live 25 miles away. Since then, I changed jobs and could not justify driving that distance just to shop at Costco even though I have neighbors who do. Last year they announced they were going to build a Costco in Mooresville which opens on June 26. The even came out to our Condo on Lake Norman and we along with a number of our neighbors signed up. Our membership cards arrived last week. We were running around shopping for a bathroom remodel and ended up eating lunch not to far from this Costco. Over lunch, we decided to go ahead and check into this Costco because our membership instructions told us to go to Customer Service, sign in and get our pictures taken. We figured that Costco in Mooresville is going to be chaotic come June 26. What a nightmare and it makes me question the value of a membership. You have to enter through the exit so you start off going against the traffic Something like 5 stations in the Customer Service counter but only two were open. The attendants basically were not very efficient and more concerned with up selling the membership to a more expensive plan than taking care of the customers. One of the attendants got into a lengthy conversation with a couple about having lived in the Myrtle Beach area before. One thing to be friendly but when you have a line of customers to take care of, not very efficient. Finally got to the head of the line and the printer that printed our pictures on the cards broke. We were told it would take a bit to fix but we could walk around and go ahead and shop and come back later and get our photo ID's made. Walked around and scoped out the store. Saw some things we liked and some things that would not drive a special trip to Costco to pick up. After about 30 minutes of walked around, back to customer service and no our space in line was not held but that did no matter because the printer still was not functioning. I have had two bad experiences with Costco appliances. The first was a new refrigerator I purchased for delivery. When the delivery service arrived to get the new double door refrigerator into the house the delivery team had me remove the railing on the back stairs and both of the sliding glass doors into the kitchen due to the width of the refrigerator. Only after the delivery team left and I had reassembled my house did I have the time to read in the refrigerator manual supplied with the new refrigerator that the doors on the refrigerator were EASILY removable for ease of installation. I purchased a new Christmas built in microwave for a family member in Fayetteville NC. The sales documents clearly stated that installation WAS included. After waiting almost a month the new microwave was delivered but not installed. After trying unsuccessfully to resolve this online, I drove to Charlotte to the store I order from and spoke to a service representative at the member services desk. He confirmed that the sales document clearly stated that installation WAS included. He subsequently put me on the phone with the customer service team that resolves Premium member issues. Those wonderful folks spent the next 1 hour and 40 minutes telling me that I didn't read the sales document that states that installation was not included. Often during this conversation both the initial contact and subsequently her supervisor very condescendingly implied that my reading skills were sadly deficient. I explained that had I had any inclination that installation would not be available, I would have purchased a microwave from Lowe's or Home Depot both of which offer installation services for similar devices. The supervisor then carefully explained that they would pick up the microwave and when Costco securely had the appliance back in their distribution center they would refund my purchase. When I pointed out that I paid for this on the 14th of December in 2023, and the repayment would be returned to me after a 7-10 day scheduling period and the transit time to get the microwave back to their distribution center and after a few days to process the refund I should have the money refunded to the card that I used to pay for the initial transaction in mid December in February of 2024. The Supervisor then went on to say that I was wrong and then gave me a detailed explanation of the uncertainty of each of the three steps (scheduling pick-up, transit time, and processing time for the refund) and as this was the 15th of January certainly the refund would not be made sooner than February. I did not make a formal complaint about the refrigerator fiasco as occasionally the delivery teams are not on their game. After this experience with the Microwave purchase, I have come to the justifiable conclusion that buying anything I can't carry out of Costco personally is a massive error and one I will not make in the future. As I noticed in the news last week that at least one location of the Costco system has unionized, it certainly appears that management at Costco not only doesn't listen to their employees but they have no abiding interest in customer satisfaction either. Then, I could go to Costco and get whatever I wanted without thought, hesitation knowing the quality is on par, the price is acceptable and I'd never take a sample but I'd schmooze for every monthly sale, order one of their annual luxury trips, actually buy their clothing as I've been impressed with the 3 clothing purchases to date AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT BECAUSE THEY PAY THEIR WORKERS A LIVING WAGE. the food court is a overpriced by $0.50 cents to $1.75. But they have ACAI bowls with dried fruit. 5 stars The returns are seemless. 4 stars The food selections are more to my liking but wish they'd bring in more US SEAFOOD, shrimp = 3.5 stars. Checkout can go expeditiously but I'm okay with self.checkouts that Sam's offer yet Costco doesn't. I'd like to order online and pick up in store but I could forego it IF I had that Stay at home non-working life I tell y'all that Costco makes me dream of. Why not 5 stars? Your standard Costco like all other Costco locations. They have all the wholesale items one may need from a giant pack of paper towels to a box of croissants. All joking aside, I love Costco and it's great that locations are consistent where ever one may go. I am from the Orlando area, but this club is laid out in a very similar manner so it was like second nature. I always end up contemplating to get a hot dog or not. They've kept the same price for the hot dog and drink ($1.50) since the mid 1980s. This location's gas pumps are locked and shut down when the store closes. read more

If it was possible to be in love with a store I would call this true love. From their cheap gas to their cases of toilet paper , Costco has everything that I need. I've been coming to this location for a couple of years now and it never disappoints. They've got the cheapest gas in town and their prescription medicine prices can't be beat. There are some items that you can get for cheaper elsewhere so you just have to keep an eye out for that. They get on great seasonal clothing items and you can score some great deals on North Face jackets if you play your cards right. Have you tried their snack stand? You can get a jumbo hot dog AND a drink for $1.25. What a steal? Now they have it set up so you don't have to stand in like to order your food. They've got a handy dandy little kiosk that moves your order straight to the front of the line. I never have to wait when I order my food. Costco is worth the membership . This review is for the GAS STATION. I live down the street so I come here once a week for gas and the gas station attendants are hilarious. Geo and Brian are so personable. You're probably asking why there's no much interaction at a gas station of all places but these two older gentlemen are truly a gem. Today is Saturday at 2:40pm and the lines were super long as expected but the guys were out there telling jokes, complimenting people, talking about random nothingness but it was cute.
