The sign is kinda of small so you might have to take a double look and the name has also changed to Good Neighbor's. The inside has all your small items needs and theres also a tiny pharmacy in the back. They sell your typical snacks and candies found in other convience stores as well. I haven't used their pharmacy but I would if I was in the area because the people here definitely care about their customers. I came in here to fax some papers since our office fax was down and I needed these to be sent ASAP so I was refered here by the Portsmouth Library. The fax service is in the back and I was attended to quickly. The ladies there are super nice and caring. The people who were getting medicine seemed to get their prescriptions filled quickly. Overall, if I lived in the area this would make this my go to pharmacy because the people and service is great!

Drove up to drive thru at 1:00pm and no one was there so I went inside. Was told they didn't have enough and my prescription wasn't filled. He contacted the High street location and informed them I was on my way at 1:16. I asked if they would be open and he stated I could get my medication if I got there before 1:30 because that's when they take their break. I got to High street Walgreens at 1:27 and saw the windows closed and the last tech leaving. If the hours are posted for the public at 1:30 why is it closed before? So I rushed following the advice of Toby from this Walgreens only to be made to wait anyway. Just awful. Why do they not let customers know if they cannot fill the prescription or when it is ready? They rarely answer the phone which I attempted calling back to back for hours. It's a goose chase. I already don't like taking medication but should not be sent on a scavenger hunt to get a common prescription filled.

I will say sometimes it takes quite a while to get your prescriptions, so be smart about what time you go. For instance, 5:00 is peak time and The line is always long. But if you go at 8:30, when I just went, it'll be very quick. Also, if you go to Walgreen a lot, it's definitely beneficial to be a reward member. You save a lot of money and you get discounts.

I've never had a good experience here but I haven't had a bad enough to leave a review until today. My husband had a prescription sent over from telehealth on Sunday. He called first thing this morning to ensure it was received. It was an antibiotic and steroid that needed to be started ASAP. He was advised that they received over 55 prescriptions so understandably they couldn't give him a time of when it would be completed. However, he called again around 1pm to check on it. He was advised it had been filled and was ready for pick up. They have a CB lunch break from 1:30-2pm so around 2:15pm I waited in the drive thru line for about 20min with 3 hungry kids to pick it up. When I arrived at the window I was advised it wasn't filled and to go wait in the parking lot or swing back around (even though no one was behind me) and wait another 15min while they fill it. I asked why we were told it was ready and I was met with a short tone simply saying "he wasn't" I was irritated and asked if it would really take 15min... the response was that I needed to move along and go wait somewhere else for 15min and no one told us it was ready. I took the kids home and then went back to get the prescription. I waited for a couple cars. One took 15min at the window (I did time it, so I'm assuming they refused to wait elsewhere) the other car was just 2 min. I was able to get the prescription on my second visit. Although I was able to get what I needed this time, the interaction was short and definitely did not leave me with a desire to return. We've found another pharmacy to try for our prescriptions going forward, I don't mind driving farther for better service.

It was printed on a script sticker and the vet signed it. The pharmacist not only didn't fill it but treated my husband like he was trying to fake a prescription. The pharmacist were overtly rude and loud about it. The vet then faxed it in but at that point, we decided to switch to Kroger, who had 0 issue with the script. The pickup lines for scripts take over 20 minutes. They only have 1 line open and it's not efficient. If you go in store it's about the same. Scripts are never ordered when out of stock. You have to call and ask them to order it every time, even though the text said they ordered it--yet they never do. Then I ordered a poster which came wrinkled and looked horrible. The CSR told me that she would cancel the order and refund me. She did not. I had to fight the charge on my credit card.
