In February and March 2026, we signed three contracts with MIAMI ACCORDION SHUTTERS to install accordion shutters for a total of $10,235; as stipulated in the contracts, I paid a 50% deposit of $5,118 at that time. They never obtained the required permits from the HOA or Miami-Dade County--as agreed upon--and never performed any installation work. After countless calls to Marta Pimentel--who provided the quote for the work and arranged the contracts with Luis Pimentel's company--they stopped taking my calls and began screening them through an employee named Nicole. They claim the HOAs are not cooperating with them, but I confirmed via phone and email with the HOAs that, after seven months, they are still waiting to receive the required documentation from the contractor. Stay away from them as fast as you can.
