I've also never been part of a wedding or have been a bride before - everything was brand new to me. But Nathan was a key teammate who helped break down what the day of would look like from his perspective as a photographer. He gave me times and talked me through what to expect. This alleviated a lot of the stress I was feeling leading up to the big day. On the day of, Nathan and his assistant were prompt and timely. They really stuck by the schedule. When a bridesmaid wasn't posing the way he wanted, he kindly directed them. I was very much at ease with Nathan taking shots of me and my husband. It took about two weeks or so before we got our pictures back and we were blown away! We absolutely loved the shots he presented to us. I am very type-A so I really appreciated the level of responsiveness and accommodation that Alex provided. She was very prompt with her email, I was able to discuss ideas I had months in advance, outfit options, and even shared my Pinterest board with her so she was very aware of what I was looking for and delivered just that! She also accommodated an outfit change and multiple locations. She spent just over two hours with us and did not rush through the photos at all, even offering suggestions or taking extra time to put us in certain poses or locations that would allow her a good shot. I found out about LJ studios through the moms group on FB. I submitted an inquiry on line and pretty much did all communications via emails. Since there is some uncertainty to dates, Laura did a great job of keeping in contact to lock down a day after delivery. Day of, we showed up on time to her studio, which is in a house in the Lindberg park area if you are familiar with Culver City. So lots of parking all over in residential area. She gave us some options for color schemes and looks and whisked the baby away for her shoot. Then before you know if, it's done! She is really good with communicating ETAs and sending previews. We did a view thru zoom to pick photos and i think it was less than two weeks later they were edited and in my inbox! The photos all turned out beautifully.
