We got two take-out gyros, subbing onion rings for fries for one of them. The ambiance was very friendly and the server took my order right away. It also came out very fast. Harry's is somewhat of a "locals" breakfast spot on Kings Highway across from where the old mall used to be a few years back. It's nothing special on the inside but it's clean a spacious. The servers are super friendly and personable. I had the Florentine Omelette with grits and a pancake. The omelette was good but a little dry. My wife said the same about her bacon and cheese omelette. The grits were good and had a nice consistency. As for the pancake, well it was a pancake. Nothing spectacular but put some butter and syrup on it's decent. Overall, a decent place to get breakfast. The people here are what makes the place memorable. read more

For us breakfasts are a major part of the day when vacationing. Sleep till wake up, big breakfast because we don't eat again till dinner. We try to make dinner later than most. We had driven past this place previously. Decided to stop and try it. The first thing to notice is the building is older. Parking can be an issue. One of the things we liked most was the atmosphere. It felt more like there is an actual owner here and not a corporation. There is a large room with numerous tables, with a smaller room to the left when you walk in. We were there twice. I had a waffle one day and an omelet the other. My wife had french toast and pancakes. Waffles and pancakes seldom have much difference in taste between places. It was the meat and service that made the difference. There is a similar breakfast place about 3 blocks away, but after trying them both we preferred this one. The omelet I had was very good and better than most places serve. But once again this is a local place reminding me os some small town diners I have eaten in. read more

I stopped by here with my sons at 11:33am on a Sunday morning. We needed breakfast before getting on the road back home to NC. The parking situation was not good. People were parked over the line and honestly, the set up allowed for it. I think almost every car was over the line. This takes up additional parking spots for others. One side of the building has slanted spots and straight spots, which doesn't make sense. It seems the parking pattern changed at some point as the old lines were visible. Nonetheless, no bueno. Once inside, the host confirmed the number of people in the party and pointed to a booth we could go to. I noticed the host calling customers by name, indicating they are regulars. After about 2 minutes of being seated, someone came over to take drink order and then brought us menus. They said someone else would be the our waitress. Waitress came at 11:37am to bring our waters and said that she would be right back. Our order was placed at 11:43am. Waitress never introduced herself but was friendly. My sons got the silver dollar pancakes with chocolate chips. One got bacon as a side and the other got sausage. I got the Belgian waffle special with 2 eggs and bacon. A couple minutes after ordering, I decided i wanted a side of hash-browns too. I was hoping the waitress would return prior to the food coming, but she didn't and I just ordered it then. The food came at 11:55am. I noticed my son had 6 piece of bacon with his kids meal and I only had 3. I took 2 of his, because that was a lot of bacon for him lol. My other son got 2 sausage patties. They enjoyed their food!! When I ordered the hashbrowns, she came back with them in about a minute. I was skeptical at first considering how quickly I got them, but they were decent; no comparison to Waffle House hashbrowns though. The meal was filling. I ended up giving some of my Belgian waffle to my kids. The waffle was merely decent for me. It wasn't the best but wasn't nasty either. I would've liked it a little softer and more flavorful. The bacon was tasty but inconsistent in crispness. I enjoy crispy bacon. The waitress brought the bill as we were finishing up. She wrote a note on the back of it, and her name was Hannah. I went to the host to pay while my sons went to the restroom. I wanted a water to go but the waitress never came back. This was very affordable and good, overall. To work at a Family Owned restaurant myself, I wanted to try this place because of it being one as well. As we all walk inside, let me just say u see ur family. I loved my waitress (Niya) smiled, talked to my boys and cut up with us all. By the way Niya go make something of urself. The food was also great. I settled on coffee, the Swiss and mushroom omelet with hash browns, ordered extra crispy and a blueberry pancake. I liked that they left a coffee carafe on the table but the coffee was weak. The food came out quickly. I will say based on other reviews my expectations were pretty high. Everything was just kind of bland. The mushrooms were not seasoned and the blueberry topping on the pancake tasted like Cisco brand from a can. No fresh blueberries in sight. That part is the biggest bummer because they are in season and this area has fantastic produce. Missed opportunity for sure. The hash browns had a decent flavor but were really mushy and definitely not extra crispy Again, nothing was really terrible but I just wanted some flavor. The prices are on point for what you get. Needed a fast breakfast with good food. Walked over from our hotel on the beach (less than 5 minutes) got seated immediately. Service was spectacular, drinks served right away and we weren't rushed but placed our order right away as we had an appt 3 hours away and needed to get on the road. Restaurant was very clean and wide open. Waitress took the order and explained it is sent electronically to the cook station and would be out shortly. This was no lie. Food came out promptly with all the proper condiments and sides as ordered. Food was good. For us it wasn't great but was good and as expected. Bacon was very salty, but I like salt, so had to be careful. Eggs were good, pancakes were ok. I like sweet corn vs buttermilk but they were as advertised. Syrup was served warm which was awesome!! The service from Lala was fantastic. The food...not so much. I wanted to try a new place on my current visit to Myrtle Beach, so on this early morning, we walked on over to give this place a try. We were promptly greeted with friendly smiles and quickly seated. The service was absolutely top notch. I ordered the corned beef omelet with hashbrowns and pancake along with a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. The corned beef in the corned beef in the omelet was obviously canned, but it also wasn't cooked or browned before putting into the omelet...so it felted and tasted steamed. It was also unseasoned. The hashbrowns that came with omelet tasted old. They claim the biscuits are homemade. However, they are clearly industrially mass produced. They tasted and felt exactly the same as every office building breakfast place I've ever gotten a Sysco delivered biscuit. Also...my biscuit was burned. The pancake was odd. It tasted like coconut...I don't know why. It was cooked perfectly though. All in all, this visit to Harry's was not good. I'm not in a hurry to get back to this at all. read more

Boy let me tell you, from the customer service, the food and the ambiance at the restaurant everything was great! It's you regular mom and pop joint but the food was top notch! I have an 8mo old who likes to yell and not once did I feel like we were an annoyance to the servers or the guest. My 4 year old is very picky, and nothing on the menu she wanted. She said I want a PB&J and the waitress (May (sorry if I missed pronounce or spelled your name) she said, I'll make her one. That did it for me and my family! First time ever having Harry's Breakfast Pancakes was today during myrtle beach snow apocalypse 2025. Even though it is freezing cold outside, and the roads and the parking lots are full of snow and ice, all of the staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and had a smile on their faces. Our server Angel was truly amazing. Food was delicious we had ribeye with eggs, pancake and Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit (the biscuit was the best I have ever had) and I am born and raised in SC around southern biscuits so for me to say this I do not say it lightly. And the sausage links were delicious. We will definitely make this a tradition to come here when we visit. And the food cost was very reasonable and the portions were large.
