This was hands down the best breakfast that we have eaten in Myrtle Beach. It's a charming space, and we had quick seating on a Monday morning. The server, Leonid V, was attentive, professional, and kind. He checked in often and just had a great attitude. The Blueberry Ricotta Waffle was decadent. I'm not a big ricotta fan, so I tasted it and ate around it. The waffle was light and fluffy, packed full of blueberry goodness and topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries and the blueberry ricotta (I think a creamy ricotta with a hint more sweetness would knock this out of the park). The home fries were a couple of notches above basic, good and crispy on the outside. The bacon was baconing! My husband got the Steak Chimi and really enjoyed it, only saying that he would have loved more sauce on the side. He really enjoyed his meal and his steak was cooked well. The coffee wasn't very strong, but good as a black coffee. I will be hard pressed to ever go anywhere else for breakfast when visiting Myrtle Beach from here on out. I wish we had this restaurant in Houston because it was sooooo good! It was our last day on our trip and we were on our way to a fishing trip. It was surprisingly very busy for a late Monday morning. They came out warm and soft on the inside with a little crisp on the outside. They were cooked perfectly and the butter and compote that come with it really set it off. I loved them! We ordered the western steak & egg bowl, a regular eggs with bacon plate (the eggs cooked perfectly but bland) and an omelette. We all agree the food was at least a 6.5/10. It was just ok. It would not be my first recommendation if a friend or family member asked for suggestions. I think the name draws people in more than the food. We paid $109+ with the tip. My wife and I are in town this week and decided to stop at Blueberry before running around for the day. It wasn't very busy, unlike the summer when there's always a long wait. The restaurant was decorated very nice for Christmas very welcoming. The meals came out pretty quickly, and both looked excellent. I didn't take new photos since they looked the same as the ones I've already posted. One thing we noticed -- prices have gone up a bit. Both the Benedict and my wife's meal went up almost $1.50 since last year. Also, make sure you look over the menu carefully: there are items listed that are almost identical, but one is priced higher than the other. Not sure why -- kind of like when we were looking at live Christmas trees and saw two identical ones priced differently. Overall, the food was very good, just a little overpriced. The service and speed was great and it felt like this was the only place I ate in Myrtle Beach during Spring Break that was appropriately staffed. Had a great breakfast! We had been to the North Myrtle location a few years ago, but we were staying closer to this one, so we decided to give it a try. We were so happy we did! We opted for outside seating, as it was a beautiful morning. There were many seats outside, some under umbrellas, and the whole scene was bustling with conversation. Jameson was our waiter and from the moment he took our drink order, until we paid the check, it felt like we were in capable hands. this is the first restaurant we've been to in a while where it felt like people wanted to be there and everyone was having a good time. I had the Crab Cake Benedict and the egg oozed perfectly and the Hollandaise was excellent (could've used a touch more lemon for that tangy kick.) It was absolutely delicious and hugely portioned. I ended up taking part of it, along with my side of cheesy grits, home to eat later. The remoulade served alongside was interesting, but it didn't quite mix with my Benedict. I suggest leaving it off. My partner had the Classic Benedict and he ordered it with sourdough toast (huge slices) and a side of cheese grits. Again, the portion was huge.
