What a treat! I was met and seated by a very personable server (Amber) who described the specialties of the establishment and the "specials of the day." They all seemed palatable, but I had come for the shrimp and grits and asked how they were. She said that they were very good but the dish is unique from place to place. She said theirs was more savory than spicy. It was delicious. If I had come here earlier in my trip, I would certainly come here again. This is a great place. The Greek food is amazing and the service was spot on. Weston was our server. He was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. We had our entrees within ten or so minutes of ordering. I got the Spicy chicken Boom Boom wrap which was delicious. My wife got the gyro platter. She said everything on it was delicious. We also got pineapple mimosas which were pretty good but not my favorite. This place is a quiet little hidden gem in Surfside. It is very casual and not touristy. The service was generally good with the server checking on us from time to time. The menu has the standard breakfast item but also some unique offerings. My wife had her typical breakfast. Scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, home fries, and an English muffin. She said it was pretty good. I decided on the Athenian Omelette which has feta cheese, green peppers, tomatoes and onions. I also had grits and rye toast. The omelette was good but not very fluffy. The grits were fantastic. They had the perfect consistency. The toast was somewhat light. We are locals and love trying new places, this place was a pleasant surprise for a Sunday morning breakfast. I had the special which was crab cake eggs Benedict (which should become a permeant menu item) and my husband had the steak and eggs breakfast. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Tartar sauce was good which is such a rare thing. Only thing we didn't care for and should've skipped is the clam strips. (Seemed frozen and mostly crust) Also, would be helpful if servers would let you know there is an upcharge when you request substitution or something like an extra pickle.
