He understood my concerns and needs for a driver and exceeded my expectations. Plus the rate was fair and very affordable, much less than other area car services. My daughter's flight back to Asheville from Nashville was delayed multiple times over multiple days due to the snow. David responded each time and made sure the driver was kept up to date and was there waiting for her when she finally arrived. Wow! This car service is amazing. David and Alan are incredible. Great cars, punctual service and competitive pricing. This service is a must, especially in a place like Asheville that doesn't always have great Uber/Lyft options. We were in Asheville for 2 months because our daughter was in the hospital. They helped us out in numerous emergency situations and were also so compassionate and caring, checking in with us even when we were not using the service. After impatiently waiting for 30 minutes, I called my hotel and was given the number for Harry's Car Service. David responded to my request immediately and made his way to the airport very quickly. I used Harry's Car Service for the first time this week for a business trip bc our regular car service didn't service Asheville, NC. This turned out to be an unexpected gift. Harry was absolutely outstanding! Because he was tracking my flight in order to ensure timely pickup, he was aware of the multiple flight delays I was incurring. He went so far as to call me on my cell and offered to drive the 2.5 hours to Charlotte, NC to pick me up and bring me back to Asheville so that I didn't have to wait in a holding pattern on a flight that had already been rescheduled multiple times. In the end, I wound up flying back only bc the last rescheduled flight time actually held. Still, Harry's immense kindness made an otherwise miserable flight experience palatable. Terrible service from the airline industry and the FAA, but excellent service by Harry. Will definitely be using Harry for all future car service needs while in Asheville. I found Harry's Car Service through a Craig's List ad several years ago. I needed someone to drive me to the GSP airport from my seasonal home west of Asheville. I was immediately impressed by his professionalism and courtesy. Wow! His price was also way below the other commercial services I was able to find that would actually do this route. I have used his services each year when I come east and again when I go back west. I do not even schedule my flight until I know he is available to transport me. He confirms the date and time with me in advance, so I know he will be there to meet me. My flight here always arrives at night, and sometimes it is quite late. I feel very safe as a lone woman travelling with Harry - which is a huge relief. I have only interacted with Harry himself, but knowing him, I am confident that the rest of the driving crew is of the same caliber. The vehicle is always very clean, spacious and comfortable- I feel spoiled and can just relax after a day of travelling. I so appreciate quality of Harry's Car Services and cannot recommend them highly enough. read more
