I would have said yes last year. But just ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. It cost $30.00. I don't even make $30/hr. When I questioned it, the guy said chicken buffalo pizza is $24, did you put anything on it, I said onions, he said that is another $3.00.. + tax. I can buy a 2lb bag of onions for $3.00, and they charged us that for a couple of slices. When you charge $30.00 for a pizza, time to find another pizza shop. read more

My favorite hometown pizza place! I can't tell you how many times I've been here. I'm rarely disappointed. Got a bacon & pineapple pizza & it was delicious! It's now our new "regular". Their plain cheese is also great. This is the pizza I crave when I'm out of the area. I've never had an issue with their service - they do only take cash or debit, the last time I checked. I personally don't stray too far from their pizza menu. I'll sometimes get their chicken finger dinner which is a hit or miss. Their chicken seems to change. Hilariously, it's listed on their menu as coming with lettuce & tomato but that's really a "side salad" which is rather sad. The inside of their restaurant is outdated but serves its purpose. I am confused, I know I've gotten good BLT's from here in the recent past. But this was just disappointing. It matched the sad looking BLT in a separate review, so, clearly not a 1 off. Idk what's different over there. Whoever is making the food on certain days, maybe? I do hope it changes back because I used to love how they made them. Don't order eggplant. It is paper thin and full of oil. We ordered an eggplant parm sub and threw most of it away. The majority of the sandwich was oily batter. peeled all we could off eggplant but still way too greasy. At least they could have blotted and drained it before throwing it on the sub. Disgusting and disappointing. From prior reviews others say don't bother complaining, so we didn't but wanted others to know what they are serving the public. Wow what a fall from Grace. For a long time Harry's was a staple but with a change in personal it has gone down hill big time. This was the last straw. I've always stuck by Harry's, as I've lived here since I was 5 years old. As time goes on, their prices keep creeping up and up with no warning. The time before last, I ordered a small Hawaiian pizza (so just ham and pineapple) and it was around $8. A week or so ago I ordered the same pizza and it's now $11.50 before tax. If you were to order just a pineapple pizza, it would be $8.50 (according to their "updated" menu I was handed when I walked up to the take-out window). So they are now charging an extra $3 just to have a mediocre amount of ham on a SMALL pizza? It's super disappointing. I especially was looking forward to supporting a small business through this pandemic but unfortunately that small business won't be Harry's. Im sure if I ordered a small pizza in a few months, it would probably be up to $15 at that point and I can't justify spending that. read more

Everyone has a favorite pizza/grinder/ salad shop and Harry's is mine. I grew up going to this place with my grandfather when I was little. Now it's a little drive for me, but if I'm wanting great fresh pizza/ food this is where I head....and obviously I'm not the only one who thinks this. Harry's is a fairly typical pizza place, but one of the things I like most about it is that you can see the whole kitchen from where you order. I like seeing the cleanliness of the kitchen and the people touching my food. And this is a hopping place, there is typically a dozen or so people working behind the counter and they don't even do deliveries. They also offer a small selection of desserts. My favorite thing to order is the ham & cheese salad. I enjoy the Turkey and cheese salad. Also the plain cheese pizza, and their steak and cheese subs are pretty good with nice, soft bread how I like it. It's hard to take other people's word on how certain good is considering it's subjective a lot of the time. But personally, I like the way those 3 things are made here. Update: I specifically asked for no pizza sauce, only BBQ sauce on the whole pizza and toppings on just half. Got home and was disappointed to find it was made with half regular sauce anyway. We love love love the food at Harry's, however we just went there for pickup and only one person working was wearing a mask and not one person was wearing gloves. I walked in and told them I was there to pickup a pizza and gave my name. The girl rudely said "did we give you a number?". I indicated that I didn't believe so but offered my phone number to which she replied "we don't take names or phone numbers" with a bitchy attitude. JALAPEÑO FETA CHEESE PIZZA: Love Harry's pizza, but was very disappointed about a particular pizza I bought. The Jalapeño feta cheese pizza was not only too salty to eat but the jalapeño they used on the pizza took was too strong pickled vinegar flavored. It was a great disappointment & a waste of my pizza. as I was unable to eat that pizza. Even the domino pizza has a smoother tasting jalapeño pepper & does not taste like it came out of a bottle. The pizza is too pickled for a high end pizza. I hope they can reduce the salt & synthetic tasting jalapeño for this pizza. The crust is always good. So Whitinsville is far from having even a decent food/restaurant selection, but this place has some bangin' pizza! Their 'small' pies are actually perfect for 2 people, and since it's a whole pie made to order, you know its fresh! - instead of just grabbing a few slices of pizza already cold - reheated. The staff is nice and ready to help on the phone or in person, I have never had an order screwed up here. Pizza is great and so are the subs. Always packed on the weekends so the wait could be around 45 mins, but its well worth it. Do yourself a favor if your around and just call. A suitable Tony's replacement if driving to Sutton just seems like a little too much effort. This is the Real Deal Family owned and operated pizza parlor. Tom & Joe have a family friendly shop with plenty of room for a sit down meal and also offer take-out. There are other Harry's Pizzas in neighboring Uxbridge and Douglas, but this gem in Whitinsville is the One & Only for me! They are also the original location that has been in the same Plaza since the 1970's. Any other pizza parlor I have been to has had a high standard to be compared to and have failed. I had been out of the area for over 30 years, but anytime I was home, Harry's was a prime destination for me. When I returned to the area for good, Harry's Famous Pizza was the first stop I made in town.
