We drive by this place so often. We have heard great things about it. We finally stopped and it was as good as we had heard. Awesome pizza and salads were enough for 2 - 4 people and delish. Beer and wine as well an option. What seemed to be the Greek Owner at the counter was an added plus. He was very personable. We will definitely be stopping more often. read more

I don't pop in here too often, but when it's lunchtime and I'm nearby, pulling into Tony's is an easy decision. The sub portions are generous and the wait times are always pretty reasonable, no matter how busy the place gets. I love a good roast beef sub, and this is a great spot to get one. There is plenty of room inside, even for large parties. Definitely stop in with your crew when you're hungry! read more

If you're super hungry like I was, it will be ok. Otherwise I would say it's a pass. Crust and sauce were fine, but the cheese was...different. I would almost describe it as chunky. They hired young kids just out of high school or in high school but do not properly train them then when they make a mistake, the guy gets mad and yells at them when in two days ago whole order completely messed up twice and still charged me 100% should have given at least a 5 to 10% discount I will not be back read more

It's been quite a while since we tried Tony's Pizza, as our last visit was memorable but not in a good way. When I checked my prior review, I see that it's been five years since we last crossed their threshold. Hopefully time has been kind. I recall hearing that there is new ownership at Tony's, and we were craving some takeout, so I ordered via mobile: Steak & Cheese (Large): $11.95 Chicken Wings (BBQ): $11.95 French Fries (Small): $4.50 These were ready very quickly, and after a quick drive home, we found that overall, we were pleased with the results. The steak and cheese was very good, a traditional, gooey, steak and cheese center, still hot inside a soft sub roll. The fries were great, hot and very crispy, and their "small" is quite large. These were better than I have been served at much fancier restaurants. The chicken wings were good albeit heavily breaded for our tastes. Overall, a much better experience than out prior visit, we'd be happy to order takeout from here again. read more

Was on the way to the grocery store and stopped in for some pizza. Let me just say that, the crust was excellent, the toppings were superb and plentyfull, (nothing was skimpy). Been going to Tony's for several years and have had a consistently good experience. Prices are reasonable, orders have been correct, staff has been attentive and food is decent. 99% of the time I get take away, so I can't really comment on eat-in dining. Wings are battered sort-of like a chicken nugget. Steak sandwiches aren't greasy, the cheese is melty and the roll is tasty. Pizza is typical for style but it has always been cooked correctly; never over or underdone. It has the right amount of toppings and cheese and the sauce is fresh. The food and ambience was very good. The staff were very kind and helpful and I was served quickly.

We went here kind of spur of the moment when our usual place was crowded. We got here on a Saturday evening and it was crowded here too, but Tony's is set up to handle a lot of people. Our order was quickly taken at the 'order' counter and we were given a number. They have a LOT of dining space and we quickly found a booth to sit at. Our number was called very fast! My partner wanted to try the sausage and meatball grinder and I wanted the turkey and bacon and we agreed to share them. We couldn't believe the size of the grinders!!! They were so full that the ingredients were falling out as we were eating them!!! It ended up the sausage and meatballs was our favorite! We saw lots of yummy salads and panini's going by our table and looking forward to trying them too! Our bill for 2 grinders and a bottle of water was about $20.00. Tony's is just ok. Perhaps it's Sutton good but certainly not anywhere near the best I've had. The pepperoni and peppers pizza was excessively greasy and only mildly seasoned. The Buffalo wings were a little better, albeit I wasn't overly partial to the batter around the wings. The Italian cold sun was probably the best but it too was not close to a fan favorite for me. Even the Pepsi in the drink cooler were lukewarm, and that sums up the experience...lukewarm at best. read more

The Quality of the food, the taste tells you everything is fresh! The friendliness of the staff makes you feel like you are at home! I lived in the area about 15 years ago and everyone around there swore by this place and I remember the food was amazing. I particularly remember the Buffalo wings as being crispy, not the usual type that gets soggy because they merely put buffalo sauce on top of fried chicken wings. So when I was in the area I had to stop by. The place still has a nice atmosphere and you get your food quicker than you'd expect in a busy place. Unfortunately the food has gone downhill. The buffalo wings were the soggy mess you can get anywhere and the pizza was a closer to something you'd get at a chain rather than anything special. I was just left feeling disappointed. read more

My boyfriend introduced me to Tony's a few months ago, they have the best steak and cheese according to him lol. I did try it but imo it could've been better if they added more cheese.. anyways, i usually get the Turkey Bacon Cold Sub, which is SO good, i get the small but it's still a LOT for me! I haven't tried anything else on the menu, so i'm not sure if they excel as much as they do on my favorite sub. What I've figured out is that the bad reviews for this place are mostly written about people having buyer's remorse after they ordered something random on the menu-- one girl complained that her spinach pizza didn't have sauce (yeah, that's because spinach and sauce don't go well together, the spinach gets all mushy). So really, this place is awesome. It's always busy, but the quality of service doesn't waver, it's always fast and courteous. Ignore the bad reviews and don't let them scar you off...or make a point to read them to see what the complaints were about. read more

I ordered take out from here a couple nights ago. I haven't been to Tony's in at least 10 years and my husband and I decided to try it again. I am now GF and they have a GF pizza so that made me super excited! My husband got a meat lovers (not GF) and he said it was amazing! I gotta say, this is the absolute best GF pizza I have EVER gotten from ANY pizza place yet!! The crust was crispy and tasty....not soggy or bland....it was a delicious pizza!! Wish I could tell you about the food but we arrived at 8:40pm (according to Yelp they close at 10pm), and the owner told us (with no apology or remorse whatsoever) that they were closing early, and he refused to serve us. This is pretty much the only food around, so we wound up eating junk food at a gas station. The food we saw others eating looked totally devoid of love or quality so I suppose he did us a favor. Nothing special about anything at Tony's. The business has been there forever and will be the next fifty years. It fills the need. Noticed a few things recently: The small pizza is noticeably smaller in diameter. Simple math says make it ten percent smaller in diameter thus the surface area (and thus ingredients) are one third less. I sense a rip off at the same price. Raise the price, go larger and better. Ok first time here and it was great! I got a small pepperoni half cheese pizza. The crust cheese sauce everything was delicious. I've always driven by here but had never stopped in. I will be back. I really wanted to love this place. It is a order at the counter, find a seat and listen for your number to be called type of restaurant. It is Greek ownership, running with a strong Italian flair. Lots of folks at the counter to help you And All are more than willing to assist. Tonight, I ordered there chicken with lemon and garlic sauce on rigatoni. At 1495 it seemed like a good value. I received my order within 10 minutes and I had a substantial bowl of rigatoni with a slice chicken breast on top, the portion was large. However, unless I am grossly wrong, it was chicken, grilled with Italian dressing, and the pasta was tossed in that same Italian dressing. It wasn't horrible, but it was slightly south of good. And I'm not sure that the lack of sauce for the pasta Was not a good thing. The dish came with a warm roll with butter. The bread was fantastic. Last time I was here I had a simple pizza it is the Greek type of thicker pizza with a crispy crust. An awful lot of cheese made it quite heavy. But it was not outside of what my expectation was for this type of pizza. I still will come back to try some other things to see if I can get that star rating up a little bit but bottom line it is adequate not very expensive in large portions read more
