I will be forever grateful to the wonderful people at Epoch IT. My laptop was hacked and I…read moresearched for computer services and saw Epoch listed. I called and the woman who answered (second ring, by the way, no long drawn-out introduction message) listened patiently and empathetically as I went on, and on, and on, about how embarrassed I was and I knew better, etc. She assured me Epoch would be happy to make it all better. No pressure or hype, just bring the laptop in and Epoch will take care of getting rid of any malicious software that the hackers loaded onto my hard drive. I did that and in less than 24 hours (yes, a little $$$ extra for expedited service) my laptop was clean as a whistle. Matt and Doo Yen were wonderful. So pleasant and patient which is exactly what I needed. This hacking event spurred me on to get a new desktop and Matt came and picked up both the old and the new desktop and brought it back the next day with all of my files loaded onto my new machine. Matt made it easy for me to access all of my files which is amazing if you've ever had to bring all of your files over from an old computer to a new one. I am up and running again (I work part time for a lawyer) and I feel assured my machines are clean and running at peak speed and Epoch turned a very stressful situation into a happy ending. And in those few minutes they fixed the issue and just charged us a diagnostic fee. We had expected needing to replace/buy something for the tower. (My father and I were getting it fixed as a surprise for my sibling's birthday.) the honesty from them was incredibly refreshing. Also, they were very helpful in just moving the tower about. It was heavy and my father's arm was in a sling from a recent surgery. I would have moved it but they politely offered to remove it from the car and place it back in once it was repaired. There aren't many pc repair businesses in the Lehigh Valley. So, if you need a reliable choice,…read moremake it Microapex and here is why. First, they have 2 locations. This one on Business Ln and another @ 1801 Union Blvd (this one is close Mon/Tues). Second, they will make an attempt to quickly fix issues without cost to you. Now, I can't say this for every issue. However on both occasions where we have used them they made an effort to honestly save us the cost of a repair with a simple fix. Third, they are reasonably price out their work. We came from a major metro area (Las Vegas) where the cost of computer repairs are significantly higher for similar work. Fourth, they have good complaint resolution. The second time we used them for a repair there were serious questions we had multiple aspects of the repair. Nott only did both locations willingly offer to solve them. They put the puter at the top of the repair que and we had the computer back the next day @ 100% and updated. Now, you may wonder why we didn't give them 5 stars. Well, there is room for improvement and growth. However know this we would have no trouble at all sending your computers in for repair/upgrade....errr mean send OUR computers back for repair/upgrade Don't even think about using the Geek Squad here in the Valley when we have a place like this.
