Unfortunately for us, the sludge went through all the plumbing in the house, wrecking our 1 yr old water softer and several faucets had to have replacement parts due to the issue as well. We had to have another well driller come out and fix the issues it caused. Ended up costing thousands of dollars for calls, trying to fix the existing softner, and in the end having to replace an almost new softner. The new well driller said the old metal pipes should have been changed over to plastic while they had the well pulled up. Just felt like the whole expeirece was an expensive fiasco.

Two men came out and replaced the part with another used part that leaked even worse! We spent the Christmas holiday hauling buckets of water to dump down the shower drain before they finally fixed it right. Now we're waiting for the equipment to be moved back in place and although I called Friday, they won't be out until Thursday. Almost a week later, for an easy setvice, and we live only 3 miles away. I should give them credit for finding new and exciting ways to show that the customer comes last. And yes, we are looking for a new provider.

I called, and the said they could be here this afternoon. He came, he quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed switch, and he fixed it for what I think is a fair price. As a bonus, he said the pressure in the pressure tank was low, so he pumped that up, which increased our water pressure. Finally, he gave me tips on what I can do to make it less likely that the switch fails again. All in all, I'm very satisfied.
